We reached little early before our appointment to fill some waivers it was very chilly outside glad they took us little early. Katie checked us in gave the forms to fill in & we were seated in the waiting area. We were asked for beverages hot/cold we took some water & waited for our massage specialist. It was a couple massage so it was done in a private room which was made ready for us & everything was explained in advance about our massages also they asked us for any special areas to be given extra attention while massaging ... we loved that the bed was nice & heated also neck support was provided during the massage which was a plus . Our therapist was nice & caring paid attention to every detail & once finished they waited outside for us to ask about the experience which was very thoughtful. Overall we liked the place & the massage experience. Please don't expect any frills like mimosa or big lounge area for relaxation or pools. Most of the high priced hotels have that kind of luxury services . This place is specifically for quick massages or couple hours of relaxation from your hectic schedule. Great place to go for a body scrub! I'm getting a spray tan tomorrow so wanted to get professionally scrubbed and moisturized. Had Treehugger pkg which included foot ritual, massage and facial. They use Clovertree Apothecary products which are outstanding in quality. The spa is beautiful and their desire to please and provide a pleasant experience is apparent. You know when it's an act vs sincerity. I do not like oil poured and dripped all over my face and body and running into my hair. I've had many spa treatments and this is the only place that leaves me feeling embarrassed to go anywhere afterward because I am dripping oil. Facial was given in a dark room. Lighted mag mirror used to inspect skin but then dim light. Business has been in Plano for many years so I guess some people like their process. read more

Worst massage I have had in my life. Went there last weekend hoping for a relaxing massage. Instead I got the least relaxing massage I have ever had. The masseuse I had seemed to have an interesting technique whereby no matter what you tell her she would do the opposite of that. So for example at one point I said this is too much pressure so she responded with sure I will adjust. Then she asked me how was it now. But the thing is, I never could feel any difference. It was the same pressure as before. Anyways thankfully I had only booked a 50 min massage so I was glad once it was over. The real trouble started the next day where my lower back started hurting quite a bit. I figured ok it must be some post massage soreness because she did say I will feel some. Figured it would go away in a day or two. Well I am on day 7 and the pain is not going away. I can barely move my back. Please don't go here for massage. I don't know about their other services as I have t tried those. read more

Love the organic nature of the spa but for the price it's definitely not what I expected for a luxe spa experience. I feel that mostly because of the decor, space and set up. I liked most of the treatments just fine. But I likely won't return. I prefer the grand spa in addison. I came during a weekday and there luckily were not very many people. The entire time there was only one other woman but that may have been a foreshadowing. When you walk in there is their small retail shop. I checked in and they had a different appointment time than what I set and what was confirmed to me a few days earlier. Then after checking in they take you to a "locker room" aka a small hallway with lockers with a single stall bathroom at the end of the hall. They didnt have any saunas or showers. That was strike one. They took me to a quiet room to wait for my much later appointment time. That room was like 5 lounge chairs lined against a wall. First up a foot treatment. That took place in that same quiet room. Strike two. I had a massage, a body scrub and one other treatment that I cant recall at the moment. All okay except one masseuse I had to keep tell to focus on my back. I had lunch scheduled between treatments and my meager meal was brought to me in the quiet room on an 80s TV tray. Ok slightly better tray but literally pushed up to me in the chair. No separate cafe to eat in. It was super awkward and unexpected. Everything basically came thru that quiet room which was also a waiting room, foot treatment room and dining room. This did not have the typical spa amenities nor really even much luxury. I want organic concepts to do well I really do but I'll just take the extra drive and go to addison. read more

The service here is wonderful. We did the 3 hour package which included the foot ritual, a full body massage, and a facial! They were all WONDERFUL!! I also want to give a shout out to the woman who did my foot ritual and full body massage because she was absolutely AMAZING!!! Everything about Spa Habitat is calming and soothing. Definitely not a luxury experience. While the masseuse and estheticians were great, the rooms were all freezing. First, the changing room...meaning a tiny hallway with lockers, with nowhere to sit down. Then the lounge relaxing tiny room with just a few arm chairs pulled again the wall and cucumber water. Thats it. Ok fine...i was looking forward to my herbal back treatment, but yet again, the room was so freezing, i could feel my toes curl up. Masseuse gave me great scalp massage and the most wonderful hair tangles to deal with. Onto the mud wrap...they do their best to take it off with wet towels, but there is no shower!! That's right...now i am home with my super duper tangled hair and still covered in mud... I seriously expect more from a spa that charges $100+ for treatments. read more

I absolutely LOVED my experience at Spa Habitat. I've had a few spa days in the past, but I think this was my favorite. I received a Green Peace Massage from Bill and a Sunshower Brightening Facial from Ashley. Both services were amazing and very relaxing. I told Ashley how I love lavender, so I think she incorporated extra lavender scents into my facial. Or maybe they just use a lot of lavender! Either way, I wasn't mad about it at all. After my massage and facial, I rolled out a good chunk of change on a few Clovertree products because I love them so much. I can tell that they have improved my skin! They also all smell wonderful. While the relaxation room is very nice, I think that they could enhance the experience with the addition of a sauna room. Although I'm not sure if they have the room for it. I do also wish that they had a couple of extra changing rooms - we came in a group of four and had to take turns changing in the one bathroom. Despite the negatives, I still enjoyed my experience. I wish I lived closer - I would make visiting this spa a bimonthly treat! read more

We've been here twice now, and the first time was better than our most recent visit. The spa itself is very inviting, with the aromatherapy scents and the relaxation room prior to the massage. The staff is very friendly which is a huge plus at any spa. My friend and I had a couples massage, Swedish for both of us. What I do love is that they had our information on file, including which fragrance we preferred last time. They have a few things set up in the massage room that you can sample during your massage (including a lip balm which they set up with two applicators). The beds are heated (the heat can be adjusted by the massage therapist) and there is some relaxing music playing during the massage. One awkward thing is that when we walked into the massage room, both of our massage therapists were talking to us (sometimes even over each other) to guage if we had any trouble spots and it just wasn't very cohesive. It seemed my friend's massage therapist was a bit more tenured than my massage therapist as she seemed well-versed in the "welcoming script." One thing I noticed upon getting into my massage bed was that the white sheets were actually a bit stained...even the head rest had some markings on it. I decided to just ignore this and hope that the sheets were actually clean...and just a little old. When the massage therapists arrived in the room, they asked us how the heat of the bed was. Mine was fine, at the time but, mid-way through the massage, I noticed there was no heat. My massage therapist had to turn it back on (not sure how it turned off) and by the end of the massage I was ON FIRE. Of course I could have asked him to adjust the heat but I felt bad interrupting his work and didn't want to ruin my friend's massage by talking any more than I had to. I think the worst part of the massage was the end where we walked out and my massage therapist listed the 3,482 products he had used on me and had graciously "set aside" on the counter for me in case I was interested. This is a definite turn off. I feel like, for a spa as pricey as this one, the products should sell themselves...not your massage therapist. I don't blame my massage therapist at all as I feel this is just part of the job, but I do think it's something they need to tone down a bit if they want people like me to return. For a $260 couples massage, I think we might be looking elsewhere unfortunately. read more

I have never had a massage as relaxing and perfect as that one. I like light to medium pressure which she applied beautiful and gave me such amazing feedback and check in's along the way I was blown away. During my massage, I only received my arms and back massaged, which I thought was extremely bizarre. I've had several massages and they have always been full body....I paid $250 for their new hydra facial. Save your money....It's just like a regular microderm facial. The hydra facial didn't do anything fancy and my skin looked exactly the same as when I walked in. The girl that did my facial didn't even do my décolletage area which I thought was strange considering I was paying $250 and she asked me to change into a gown specifically for that! Staff were friendly. They do try to sell you on products, so beware of their sales tactics. Front desk girl was super confused. Perhaps she was new? Or high on drugs? I'm not sure...She surely didn't know any answers for the questions I had! She couldn't even count out change correctly. The spa itself was meh. I've been to better. Their cucumber orange water didn't even taste like cucumber or orange. It tasted like regular water. The heating elements on their tables didn't even get hot. They were luke warm at best. I suggest trying a different place as their services do not warrant the prices they charge. Completely overpriced!! read more

This was my first time visiting this spa. The spa inside is small and unappealing. The relaxation room is not relaxing. It's a tiny room with staff going in and out to get water. There was a young girl working the counter that was utterly clueless like another person wrote in their review. I was scheduled for a facial. When the facial started all that I could hear were doors from other rooms constantly closing. So much for my relaxation. Then to make matters worse, the girl who did my facial, who was very nice. talked the entire time. I am paying $140 for a facial to have a relaxing experience. She didn't even put a mask on my face towards the end. It was one wet application after another with one application being a scrub. Any other spas that I have gone to put the mask on towards the end and then they will leave the room for 10 minutes to allow the mask to dry and for their clients to relax. I am not paying close to $200 with tip to be talked to the entire time. I will not go back. The spa itself is Meh and they are very overpriced for underdelivering on their services. read more

So sad. This place used to be great and calming. Now the service is horrible. Booked a nice relaxing afternoon with my mother with appointments at the same time. They were 15 minutes late to mine, then had to pause when I first entered because they didn't have clean sheets ready, then restarted. I had an 80 minute service scheduled but only received 50 minutes. At first they tried to say that it was 80 minutes, but eventually admitted fault when the manager came out to blame the technician. No real accountability and no one wanted to make it right. Keep in mind the technician came out to confirm her next appointment and she had over half an hour where she could complete my service. My mom received the full scheduled appointment but said it was only okay and that she remembered it being better. Manager is letting the place turn into a dump with miserable staff. If you have been before, this isn't the same place you remember and if you've never been, keep looking. There's way better available. read more

Had a great afternoon at the spa. It was very relaxing, staff was extremely helpful, friendly and well qualified for facial (Allie) and massage (Andrea) treatments. I was also surprised by the music. It is a weave of calming sounds with slow and active melodic instrumentals in a play list that goes from slow to faster to slower pieces. Pleasantly surprised by how this mix blocks thoughts for those like me with an active mind. Came in thinking a lot and left out relaxed and with a much more cool and calm mind. Amazing prenatal massage! I had the 50 minute Earth Mama massage today, and I enjoyed it so much that I am writing my first Yelp review! I was greeted by my friendly masseuse, Kay, as soon as I arrived She led me to the waiting room to fill out my paperwork and offered me hot tea and a warm neck wrap. Before we started, I was able to choose an aromatherapy scent to my liking. I was super excited that they offered a maternity pillow where I was able to lie down on my belly instead of my side. I told her that I liked medium to hard pressure, and she delivered just that! Most people either shy away from too much pressure or push so hard as if they're mad at you for making them work harder, but Kay had magical hands (and arms). This was my second time to this location for the same two services. Last time I loved it. Therefore I asked for a gift card for Christmas so I could repeat my experience. Everything about my visit this time was wrong. I felt rushed and not relaxed. I had an eco-scrub and hot stone massage which is the same services I had last time. This time I had one person do both services. I have had many massages at many different places but this was the first time I have ever had a massage with someone wearing gloves. It felt like being rubbed with someone who had baby plastic pants on their hands. It didn't feel good and it didn't sound good either. Since I had the eco-scrub first there was still sandy residue on me and that didn't feel very good with plastic either. My therapist also seem to keep digging in the same place over and over and over to where I almost thought she must be deliberately trying to hurt me. I think I might have been able to forgive most of the things that I wasn't crazy about if my therapist was not wearing plastic gloves for my two hour procedure including my 80 minutes massage. I think at least should have been sold on their website or when booking that therapist may use gloves as I have never ever had that done. You will come here and instantly feel relaxed and at peace. It's like a little stay-cation. They also do amazing facials...I have sensitive skin and with the products they use they do not irritate. This was my first time at this location and it was great. My masseuse's name was Benjamin and omg he did wonders to my body.
