According to the invoice, the remaining labor balance was not due until the installation was completed. After taking my money, the owner, Genaro Cruz, repeatedly told me through text messages that he had my pool and that he would be coming to install it. Over the following months, I received numerous promises with scheduled installation dates, but each time he either failed to show up or canceled at the last minute. Eventually, he stopped responding to my calls and text messages altogether. As of today, nearly a year later: No pool has been delivered. No installation has been completed. No refund has been provided. I have kept the invoice, proof of payment, and extensive text message history documenting the repeated promises and missed appointments. I gave this company every opportunity to make things right before posting this review, but after months of excuses and being completely ignored, I feel other homeowners should be aware of my experience. I am now pursuing legal remedies to recover my money. If you are considering hiring Happy Pools and Spa, I encourage you to do your own research and proceed with extreme caution.

There's one large slide that was closed when we were there (the hours for swim and the slide are clearly laid out on the website so we knew that going in). There's also a small slide for the little guys as well as some water spray features. My 3 year old loves zero depth entry pools so he was thrilled. There's also a second pool that was deep enough for my stepkiddo to get her swim on. There were three lap pool lanes open as well. Again, the hours for all this is on the website. The staff is kinda meh. The woman working the desk was not sure what was going on but the life guards were nice. The locker rooms are nicer than I was expecting. There's also a couple family shower/bathrooms which is nice. Bring a lock and towels!

Leslie's has always providing free water test services, then presenting a plan for how to balance your water. Of course, they sell the chemicals needed. It's convenient. Until last year, Leslie's manually tested the water with test tubes and droppers. This year, they upgraded to a computerized testing system. It is more accurate, and provides a print-out when done, listing the chemicals needed along with very clear instructions on how to execute the plan. Over the years, we've used Leslie's water testing service, their store to purchase supplies, and their service work to repair the pool equipment, and to replace our pump. filter, heater, chlorinator, various pieces of piping, and more. Note they do not install vinyl liners. Leslie's is a solid choice for pool maintenance and repair services.

I found that Arvidson's is the best at understanding what pools need for the right balance, and then following up to ensure everything turned out okay. I went there two days ago, and I had a high level of ammonia in the pool. I have no idea how that would have happened. Rather than sell me an expensive round of chemicals, they told me to drain 1/3 of the water out of the pool and refill it. They said that would mean I would need less to balance the water. When I returned today, the Ammonia levels were low enough that I didn't need to do anything other than add (a lot) of chlorine. More than anything, I trust their judgment in chemically treating pools.

They touched the tops and bottoms of the tester, which throws off the numbers making HP and elkalinity high, most of the time. It took me two weeks to get my pool back after I got a false reading from their employees, and added chemical i didn't need. They also don't clean out. The syringe used to test the water. This contaminates your test. Very friendly and near by. Just wish they were better with testing.
