It's behind the Keg in Richmond (near Steveston Highway and No. 5), inside the River Health Club on the bottom floor. I only came across them because I had a voucher deal for a mani/pedi/massage. I was shocked what a good deal it was, so much I was not expecting much, but I was wowed. They accomodated my husband and I (he had the massage/I had the mani/pedi). The lady that did the mani/pedi was super nice (place was clean and calming with spa music playing). My nails and toes are all shiny and pretty and I felt pampered. I think it's unfortunate this place is so hidden away because I haven't had good service like this in a long time! I would go back here if I was in the area, and if they had a good special.

When I got a hold of the front desk, a guy named Marc answered the phone, he was very pleasant and friendly and answered all the questions I had. I book my appointment and then proceeded to look on line a saw a review, I read the review and already started to disagree with what was said. So I was very curious of what i was about to walk into. I arrived at my appointment a few minutes early and Marc greeted me with a warm welcome and told me that Carrie would be read to take me in in a few minutes, he offer me some water and started to explain the process that I was about to go through. Shortly after Carrie came out and introduced herself.....she was ver bubbly, friendly and all smiles. I followed Carrie into the spa, it was very peaceful when I walked in, Carrie introduce me to Susana and told me that she was the lady that was going to be working on my Mani and pedi. I was brought into a room and got ready for my massage. An hour went by and let me tell you, I felt like jello.....it was amazing the long strokes, the pressure it was exactly what I need. I was very impressed, after words I got dressed and moved to the pedicure bench, Susanna was great, very personable and she made sure that I was comfortable. When Susanna finished i felt rejuvenated and relaxed. When all was said and done, I myself became fan. The prices of Rivers Mist Health Spa are very reasonable. I think the quality of the service is impeccable and because the prices are so low, I will be back......Maybe I will try the Asian fusion massage next or maybe I will get the 24 k gold facial......I look forward to going back.

I can move it loosely unlike before. I was studying for an exam and needed to relax. This did it! She was very thorough! The place is very clean. The ambiance is suithing! Plenty of parking as it is located in a plaza. I will definitely come back and try their other services! Highly recommended.

The downside is she speaks strictly Mandarin and I only know simple, conversational Mandarin. I couldn't understand all the technical terms she used to describe my face. Lol The facial felt so good. She cleaned my face thoroughly and also used some sort of machine to "make my face smoother." The session also included a hand and shoulder massage. Yippee!! The spa is very clean and service is friendly. The original price of my facial is $135 but since I was new it was $58. I recommend checking this place out but make sure you bring someone that speaks Mandarin. :))

I made an appointment for a facial because I have a party coming up. Upon my arrival they serve me tea and there's lots cookies on the table as well. They open at 10am and I actually got there about 5-10min early so I didn't expect them to be ready but they are!!! Everything is nice and ready for me. Due to possible infection on my face they told me it's best not to do a facial but they still put some cream and moisturizer on me. They also cleanse my face and gave me a small bottle of cream. ALL FOR FREE! They did not charge me anything and told me go back after couple weeks for my actual facial when my condition is better! I gave they 10 dollar tips and they even told me I really don't have to! The outside of the salon isn't the prettiest but inside is def stunning! Highly recommend this place ------------ 2019 October update I stopped going there because they are quite pushy when it comes to renewing your sessions. I have been going every month over a year and it is very relaxing but I don't see much improvement in my skin.

First experience having a facial and it was AMAZING!…read more The booking process was super easy, I messaged them on Instagram (I was referred by a friend), and I got an appointment within 2 weeks. I received a confirmation email, and a COVID-19 questionnaire via email as well. Lots of parking too, it's located in a little plaza in Richmond. I didn't know what to expect since it was my very first time getting a facial, and I was immediately impressed by the interior/decor at the front desk reception area when I walked in. It's very modern/earthy/chic (eg. white walls, natural plants)- and definitely feels very calming and relaxing. I booked my appointment with Lisa Liang for a La Cachette Signature Facial, and she was very sweet and patient as she walked me through what to expect. Bonus: The washroom are gorgeously decorated as well, and very very clean. The facial lasts a full 1 hour and 15mins or so. The rooms have soft ambient music playing, and the heavy sheets are super super comfortable - you could easily take a nap! I'm not well versed in their products, but various cleansers, exfoliant and peels are gently massaged into my face. Mines ended with a cold jelly mask thing. They use a lot of G.M. Collin skincare products (I also got 2 samples on my way out). My favourite part was starting and ending with a deep breathing exercise with essential oils, and also a little face/head massage at the end. The La Cachette Signature Facial regular price is $135, but I went for a limited time 50% off promo. Overall, it was a very pleasant & relaxing experience. Service was great, and the place was very clean. Highly recommend this place (and Lisa of course!).

Omg, my esthetician was having the most soft hands i ever felt. She was very professional and did good job. Whole experience was relaxing and smooth. Massage bed is heated and they don't uncover your whole body but parts by parts to massage so you are warm and covered the whole time ( letting the shy people know that ) . They have cool range of products to pick from and also they would suggest if that suits your skin type. Once your service is done, you can still relax m chill in the lounge and pay to leave whenever you are ready.
