This is a lovely salon. The staff are very friendly and took us right away without an appointment. They all did a good job, had lots of beautiful colours to choose from, and were reasonably priced. Everything was clean and sterile. The instruments came out of sterilise bags that dentists use. Lastly, they were reasonably priced to which goes a long way. Although the salon is aesthetically pleasing, the service is absolutely awful! I got a regular manicure and pedicure. I had to tell the nail tech (EM-station 5) to buff the entire toe nail as one quick swipe was not adequate to achieve a smooth look after applying polish. After the pedicure, I got a manicure which was the worst part of the service. EM did an absolutely horrible job; so much so, that I returned the next day for a polish redo. It's really difficult to see how well a regular manicure is until your nails are dry. Unfortunately, the polish redo was bad as well; it wasn't as bad as the initial manicure polish, but definitely unprofessional. I don't understand why a service provider would do such poor work knowing that their customers are walking advertisements. I do not recommend this business, especially not EM. Owner and nail tech treated my daughter like she was a 2 year old. Most disrespectful to my daughter and my self. they don't understand what kind of service to perform or polish your nails. They should close up. Not nice at all. They were talking about us to each other. At least wait until we leave. read more

My mom and sister were coming to Helen, so I made an appointment one day to make it a girls day and fell in love. They can be a little more than I've paid around, but you get what you pay for. Lena is the only woman I allowed to do my nails there but she's the best. They have many options. I tried the power dip and even though it wasn't for me, they didn't push it anymore. I'm really into mood polish and Helen keeps a secret stash if you ask her for it. I don't want everyone to know though, LOL! Make an appointment- especially for someone specific. They're worth it. Whenever I go back, they ask about my mom/sisters and that relationship is important to me. read more

I went here for a brow wax and they overdid it with the alcohol pad. The fumes took away from the supposed to be relaxing experience & when I was unsatisfied with my brows they didn't fix it. Would prefer another place over this one. read more

I hesitated to leave this review, but decided that it must be mentioned. I've been going here for some time with no problems or concerns. However, at my last visit I was seated near the ladies' room. During my manicure 3 different staff used the ladies room; none of them washed their hands afterwards. (I could tell by the speed when exiting.) I don't usually mind paying $60 for a mani pedi but it was a bit frustrating when they have a sign outside that said $35 mani pedi special but jumps to a $60 bill just for the addition of gel instead of just paint. I used to love this place for their great prices and fast service but after being there for like 2 hours and the $70 bill with tip included, I think I will have to find a new place. read more

I was at this place June 7th i stopped in to get my nails done. the place is nice and clean. the staff was friendly. On Sunday June 21st one of my nails popped off. On Monday June 22 all of my nails are off they were loose at the nail bed. exactly one week and a day later and all of my nails are off you would think I had on press on nails and it costed me 50.00. If I lived near them I would have gone back. I will not be going back there. she did not use enough glue to hold tips that is why they popped off so easily. Unhappy customer read more

I wanted to like this place. The reviews were good. The price is good. But it was a rough experience. I went in for their basic $35 mani/pedi around 11am on a Wednesday morning. It was pretty quiet, so I was in the massage chair without a wait. The people were friendly enough, but the lady who took care of me seemed a little annoyed when she had to take gel polish off my toes. The massage chair was pretty uncomfortable and squeaked incessantly. It shook so hard that my drink went flying into the floor! The pedi itself was pretty standard: cuticles, calluses, exfoliate, massage, polish. They do the hot towel which is nice too. The manicure was also pretty standard: soak, cuticles, file, massage, polish. Nothing special, but it's the basic package. The important thing to read here, if you take nothing else away from the review, is the unsanitary conditions I saw. The lady used a file on my toes, then filed another woman's fingers with the same file 10 minutes later. The manicure bowls were hardly rinsed before they were reused. And I'm pretty sure there was a basket of those flimsy foam flip flops they give you by the (broken) dryer to be reused. The lady rushed me out before I could finish drying my nails, and they were messed up by the time I left the parking lot. I didn't bother going back in to get them fixed. I wouldn't exactly recommend going there. The price is right, but you get what you pay for. read more

Let me start by saying the ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I had to wait an hour for service and I was told 30 minutes. Granted I was a walk-in, but I felt like maybe they should have had 1 or 2 more nail techs on staff for a Friday evening. That being said, I will definitely be going back. Everybody was super nice, the shop was clean and there was soft music playing which gives it a really relaxing vibe. Kevin did my nails and he was fantastic. He took his time shaping my nails and I was super pleased with how they looked. I brought a picture of the design I wanted and showed him on my phone and he duplicated it perfectly. Although the prices are average and the customer service is decent.. the sanitary aspect of this salon was sub par and it left me with a bad infection after my pedicure. The nail technician was very kind and spent a lot of time with me which was much appreciated but used dirty/used nail files and clippers on me.. it seemed the other tools used were "sanitized" as they were opened in front of me but she did not seem to have much experience in cutting cuticles as she obviously cut WAY too much and left me bleeding and irritated (now infected). My nails were not painted well (streaky/clumpy) and were filed in all different angles and lengths. Again, the customer service was fine but the cleanliness was not up to par. Disclaimer: the nail techs here are pretty good. The downside is that I did not get to enjoy the pedicure because another customer came in while I was getting my pedicure and the tech left me with my feet soaking to repair her nail. Yes , unfortunately it's one of those nail spas you try to avoid because they will forget you in a second if they feel they can get your money and someone else's. I came in at 1:30 with an appointment. I had a 4:00 appointment at massage envy in the same shopping center. Sounds like plenty of time right? Well, not if your pedicure tech leaves in the water twice, once for 30 minutes and one for 45 minutes (in wax) to tend to a whiny customer with a broken nail who then goes on to get a full set right in front of your face with the tech completely ignoring you. I was so stressed out. I was running out of time. The tech working on the customer next to me kept saying " you get ultimate pedicure, you need to relax." Well, who relaxes after being abandoned by their tech for a cumulative 1:15 when I made an appointment?! This experience put a bad taste in my mouth and made me late for my massage.
