I came across this salon so I decided to call and see if they can assist me, they were so nice to let me go in 15-20 minutes after calling and I had seen many people request Micheal so I did my walk-in with him. He was so nice, I felt out of it since it was my first time going there but they were so welcoming. Micheal keeps a conversation while doing your nails and tries to make you feel comfortable, he asks how you feel about your nails as he works on them. Also, I picked a color and I wasn't so satisfied with it and I called the following day if he can change color, asked how much it would be. My wife comes home from get toes done....bleeding. There is a hole in her foot with cuts all over from acetone used on her feet. I am very upset at the pain she is going through. This is my second time going to Michael, and I will be going back to him many more times. He does a great job and always pays attention to detail. He makes sure you are happy with what you get. He and his staff are all very professional which is far and few between. He only charges $28 for a fill with any design which in my opinion is a great deal for the work that he does. I came as a walk in on a weekend however at that time of day, the place was empty. A guy helped me, I didn't ask for his name. I wanted a full set and when I asked him to make my nails more on the short side, he said "I am very picky, I like long nails, short nails are ugly''. After insisting that I wanted them short, he stopped fighting me, however he still left them longer than what I asked for. When he asked me to go wash my hands so I could get my nail polish, I come back to my seat and he is doing someone else's nails already. I sit down and literally just wait some solid 5 minutes before a lady comes to me and tells me what color I want, she kept grabbing my hand and pushing it so abruptly because I am assuming she didn't want to help me. No! The chemical smell was so strong I was gagging. Im not a wimp. I was on mission to get nails done before AM trip. Short on time so I waited outside for my turn. Once inside I tried to leave door open hoping overwhelming chemical smell would dissipate. They would not let door remain open due to air conditioning. Staff all wore masks. I had to leave. They also do not allow you to put gratuity on debit, or credit card. Cash only. An inconvenience for customers, and potentially a significant loss for hardworking nail techs income. I travel 33 miles to get my nails done by the best. I am very busy and he always have time to fit me in and give me the best service possible. I waited almost 30 mins for service which was okay because they were busy but then when my technician did come she was rushing so much that she cut me with the electric file. That's fine accidents happen but don't make it seem like it's ok. Then she was doing my nails and it just looked sloppy. My nails were filed all crooked and when I told her she said I had the crooked toe. Funny because I've never noticed it before. Then she messed up my application and when I asked her to fix it she messed up my other toenails and proceeded to only fix my big toenail that she had messed up. I went to SP today for a pedicure. Very friendly and great customer services. I've been to several nails salon and would not come back due to their dirty salon and not so great customer services. SP nail spas is very clean, there is no strong smell. The spa tub has a plastic liner, they throw out after each customer which is a plus for me! Before i would refused to get my feet scrub, because the scrub thing is thick and you can see it got indented due to many uses. At SP the scrub are thinner and they use once and throw it out in front of you. My pedicure came out great, I would definitely come back for more services. Came here for the first time a couple of days ago and had Theresa do my nails. Giving 2 stars because when taking off my gel polish, she cut my cuticles and they wouldn't stop bleeding!! Then she kept spraying RUBBING ALCOHOL on them even after I told her how much it burned on the parts she cut, and claimed it was "good for my hands." She was very rude and rolled her eyes after anything I told her or asked for. Then at the end was VERY rude when I didn't have cash for a tip (didn't know it was cash only tipping!), which most places are able to accommodate! She even asked if I had a check so I could write her one for the tip. Then she finally agreed to put it on my card and was very rude when asking how much I wanted to give her (awkward). Very disappointing considering my friend had Tammy do her nails and she was very friendly and accommodating, the complete opposite of Theresa. read more
