Wow this greek spot right around the corner of Pape station really hits the spot. Ginormous portions! We had the chicken souvlaki dinner and it was cooked to perfection, no dry meat. We could easily share the chicken dinner between the two of us. This is a mostly a takeout joint but there are a few tables inside as well a small outdoor seating area as well. Nothing fancy at all. But be warned those pigeons outside are relentless, you might have to shoo them a few times away.

Look no more for great value, juicy and flavorful Greek gyros wraps!! SOUV LIKE Greek traditional Gyros & Rotisserie @souvlikepape is located at Greek town right across from Pape subway station. It is a popular spot in the neighborhood as it was consistently busy when we were there!! We have tried both Pork Gyros wrap and Chicken Gyros wrap. We loved how flavorful , tender yet slightly charred and some were crunchy pork and chicken gyro meat. Fries were added at the end to perfect the wrap! The wrap was in a very generous portion and reasonably priced at $8.5 each. Don't forget to say hi to Kosta and Nick when you check out this spot. Thank you @souvlikepape for having us! 708 Pape Avenue, Toronto Follow me @eatntravelrepeat for more food adventures!!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHICKEN GYRO IN TORONTO. Coming from a Greek, I think it's safe to say my opinion is a strong one. Trying all sorts of foods in Greece a lone, this was the CLOSEST i've tasted to a Greek gyro. Good amount of fries, the CORRECT amount of sauce. Amazing chicken. I mean, they're Greek. They know what they're doing. 100% coming back. 5/5

Souv Like has consistently exceeded my expectations! Being a regular, I've always enjoyed their fantastic pork souvlaki wrap. However, my recent venture into the pork souvlaki dinner was a game-changer. The food was nothing short of amazing, and the wait in line was absolutely worth it. There are only a few tables inside for dine-in, and there is limited space so take out is recommended. Souv Like remains my go-to spot any time I'm in the Danforth area!

$11 (incl. tax) for chicken or pork wrap. I got the wrap with meat, fries, veggies and all the yummy runny sauces held in paper wrap. It can ve messy so I like to pick veggie, fries and meat with a fork first and then I eat pita bread that soaked up all the sauces and fat. Service was quick, price was okay, and it hit the spot. I would not say the best gyro wrap in Toronto but it was convinient since I was in the area. Definately better than big franchise fast food.

Great value and great portions, no wonder Souv Like is so popular amongst the locals. I like that the restaurant is literally right across the street from the Pape Station, so I didn't have to walk very far in the cold. The restaurant serves many traditional Greek plates and wraps. I got the Mix Kontosouvli Dinner, which came with pork and chicken with fries, pita, and veggies. The portion was massive and it was enough for 2 people! I love how the meat was perfect charred on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside. Beware that the restaurant is very small and can only fit a handful of people inside, so it's recommended that you come at a slower time or get takeout instead

Souv Like, authentic Greek Gyro is located in the heart of Toronto's Greektown, right across the Pape station. We tried the Pork Gyro Wrap & Chicken Gyro Wrap, and they are MIND-BLOWING, the JUICIEST Greek Shawarma in Toronto. We tried several spot, and we must say the Pork Gyro is the winner. And we decided to come back less than a week to get moreee, you know when its so good, it makes you want it again and again. We highly recommended to get the wrap at your first visit here! It's affordable, stuffed with meat & fries. They are open until midnight, so you know where to grab your next late night meal.

Pork wrap was good. It was Greek style (fries inside), and came with a generous serving of both crispy fries and pork - the wrap was practically bursting. The pork was tasty, fragrant & moist. The tzatziki was pretty good too.

Craving for some authentic Greek-style Gyros? Souvlike at the Pape location is your ideal stop for some delicious greek dishes in Toronto. They serve some authentic Gyros and Rotisserie on the East York side and, it's truly a treat. I got a chance to try their Chicken Gyro Wraps and Fries with Sauce & Paprika and, tell you what it was heavenly delicious. The Gryo is thicc & loaded with freshly shaved chicken from the rotisserie, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, tzatziki, crispy french fries and secret sauce. I am definately coming back to try their lamb gyro and beef doner.

First time trying this place out. We got the Pork Souvlaki wrap. It was loaded with pork, French fries, sauces, and vegetables. We found that the pork was dry, but everything else was definitely fresh and delicious. It was about $10 per wrap.

Quarantine Day 9: It would be wrong if I didn't get any Greek food during my stay along the Danforth. There are so many things that stood out to me. The prices are very reasonable. My entire meal for 2 people including tax, tip, and UberEats delivery fee was less than $50. That's pretty good right?? Some other positives the portion sizes and the fact that they do not go easy on the meat! I always worry about getting chicken souvlaki because it's so easy to overdo it and for it to turn out dry. This one was great - big juicy chunks of meat that were tender and seasoned perfectly. This was inside of a wrap that also had tomatoes, onions, fries (important!!), and sauce. The fries were somehow still crispy when they got to me. If you haven't had fries in a wrap before, you definitely need to try it. It manages to add more carby goodness on top of the pita its nestled in. I shared a small gyro poutine with my boyfriend. I want to say it was 50/50 meat and fries and slathered with sauce. There was also some feta cheese mixed throughout. There might have been a tiny bit too much sauce for me. The gryo meat was very tasty though. It wasn't very thinly shaved like how I normally see gyro meat, it was more like thin chunks. Lastly my boyfriend had a large Greek Salad with rotisserie chicken. The entire top layer of the salad was big chunks of succulent chicken. The rest of the salad was fresh and dressed in a light vinaigrette. He's not really a salad kind of guy but it received his blessing so I'll take it as a win!

Had a couple gyros for lunch with my wife. They didn't disappoint. One pork and one chicken. Yummy and great to get over a rough night !

I was pleasantly surprised to find a gyro wrap that reminded me of my time in Greece! Look no further than Souv Like if you've had the authentic wrap in Greece. My sister and I went around 1pm on a Wednesday, there was a very short line to order and we received our food in no time. We both had the chicken gyro wrap with all the toppings, which included onions, tomatoes, fries, and of course the beloved tzatziki sauce. The portion was huge just like in Greece, which I was also a fan of. There were a few small tables at the front of the restaurant, but it feels like more of a quick takeout place. You can take your food to a park nearby and enjoy on a nice summer day! Although the price cannot compare to wraps in Greece (~$2 each!!), Souv Like's price was super reasonable (2 wraps for ~$15) considering how big the portion is and how delicious it is. It is a hundred percent worth driving down to get this wrap versus spending a similar amount of money on a smaller wrap closer to home that doesn't taste as good. I definitely hope to be back sometime in the future, I just wished I lived closer to the Danforth to eat this more often.

    Hair in my salad.

The seating arrangement was cramped, uncomfortable, and felt completely inappropriate for a restaurant that presents itself as an upscale dining destination. What was even more disappointing was the manager's attitude. When I politely raised concerns about the seating and overall setup, instead of showing professionalism or courtesy, he was dismissive, defensive, and surprisingly rude. There was no attempt to listen, understand, or improve the situation. The serving staff were polite and did their best, but the management completely overshadowed their efforts. The level of service is nowhere near what you would expect for the prices being charged. Unfortunately, this restaurant lacks the professionalism, hospitality, and attention to customer experience that are fundamental to fine dining. I would not recommend Paros to anyone. There are many better options in Yorkville that actually understand customer service and treat guests with respect.

The rice was actually a lot better than I expected. I know it's just a side, but rice at times from other Greek places isn't that great, and this was much better. My wife had the mix grill plate, and I helped. She absolutely loved the lamb. It was largely over the quality and the prep was fairly standard, but there's nothing wrong with that. The potato layer feels fluffy and sandwiches thinly sliced eggplant, so the aubergine is rather pronounced. The ground beef mixture wasn't overly spiced and even the bechamel sauce was a thin layer, so it toasts the top but doesn't saturate the slice. Ultimately, it's not heavy so you could get through a full portion. A flaming saganaki ($19.95), the pan fried kefalotiri cheese, is a staple in Canadian Greek restaurants. It seems touristy to order but there's something endearing about setting a piece of cheese on fire and yelling "opa"! For me, the dish is more for the atmosphere than taste. Pantheon pan fries the cheese well, so it develops a crust even prior to flambeeing and serves it as a thick gooey slice. If only the accompanying bread wasn't so dry and mealy, a good saganaki calls for a better complement. Almost all their mains arrive with a sizeable Greek side salad that's smartly served first containing ample amounts of crumbled feta and some tomato, cucumbers, and onion over romaine. Their dressing is different, tamer and while still acidic there's a sweetness to it. Not sure, but perhaps they use a red wine vinegar and then blend the ingredients together so it's better combined? With the fishkebob souvlaki ($36.95) I was expecting fish, but it's really a seafood kebob containing shrimp, calamari and mushroom. It's cooked well with a faint grilled aroma, very tender, and lightly salted. Sadly, my steamed vegetables were merely carrots and didn't have the delicious garlicky green beans included on my friends' plates. Luckily, there was plenty with the moussaka so I could augment mine. At least there was an ample portion of roasted lemon potatoes that were soft and fluffy with a refreshing pronounced citrus finish. Pantheon doesn't skimp on the lamb chops that arrive with the entrée. And if you can't decide on what protein you'd like, their menu also offers some as add-ons. The lamb chop by the piece ($11.95) was bit gamier than I'd like but was cooked to a perfect medium doneness. A complimentary honey cake arrives for the table and is almost like having baklava in cake form. Just watch out, as the moist crumbly cake is difficult to pick up with a fork. Don't waste a bit of this delicious dessert, just use your fingers.

Me and some family members were in the area, and decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated promptly and then, for the longest time ... nothing. As it turned out, we'd spend a lot longer at this restaurant than we had anticipated. After about 20 minutes, a kind and apparently exhausted waitress appeared, so we ordered drinks and saganaki to start. 10 minutes later, our drinks appeared, and we ordered our main courses then. Although the menu gave prices for wine by the glass, half litre or bottle, we were told that they don't have enough wine to offer any more than a glass at a time. Strange, and unexpected. Eventually, the saganaki (Greek flaming cheese) arrived, and it was really, really good - a generous triangle of grilled, flaming cheese, easily split between the three of us. It was served with some odd bread, which resembled buttered and toasted hot dog or burger buns. This helped take the edge off our hunger as we waited for our main course. And waited. Looking at the time, I noticed that we had already spent over 60 minutes in the restaurant, which was extremely chilly on a cold winter's evening. Many customers, including us, wore their coats throughout the evening. Apparently, the restaurant dining area is heated only by two electric fire places. Our waitress came out and let us know that we had to wait because my daughter's order of octopus was taking a while. At this point, we had already committed to being here, so we had no choice but to see it through. Finally, the food came out. My daughter's octopus was, sadly, overcooked and tough, but still tasty, and the lemon roasted potatoes were excellent. My husband's roasted lamb did not seem like it was prepared as a roast, as there was no browning or roast] flavor, but seemed to have been prepared in a pressure cooker or slow cooker. I had ordered the Moussaka, and had high expectations, based on my memory of Milo's creamy, eggplant-filled, nicely seasoned Moussaka of my distant, long-ago previous visit. However, my portion of Moussaka had the oddest texture: rather mushy and grainy. The well-seasoned, savory tasting ground beef of my memories had now been transformed into a rather average-tasting ground beef mixture that would have been equally at home in a sloppy joe. And I could not find an eggplant in the casserole at all ... well, maybe it had somehow been reduced to such mushiness that it lost it's eggplant quality, but I could swear that it was missing. It was all edible food, though, but not up to our expectations. I hate to give any place a lowly, two-star review. I had hoped for much more, because there is so much about Milo's to raise one's hopes: it's not a big chain, but locally, family-run; it has an appealing and timeless Mediterranean decor; and the menu offers many interesting Greek choices. A few small changes would be an upgrade: better bread, some additional staff and a few space heaters would be a good start. Milo's is the type of restaurant that I would love to support, but I've read enough reviews with similar observations that I am unlikely to return.

Beyond the presentation, the cheese itself was excellent... crisp on the outside, warm and soft inside, and really well seasoned. Easily something I'd come back for. The mango ginger spritz was light and refreshing, not too sweet, the Australian lamb chops were cooked nicely, tender, and full of flavor without being overly heavy.
