The two black girls in there were very superficial and stereotypical. They lied to me about the loan "the weirdest lie as well lol" and it's ok to not feel comfortable but they're not about helping you out in a time of need. And it be your own ppl. The ladies had very stink attitudes and came off stereotypical, the typical small minded attitudes. I went to the other location on Powers Rd in Mesa and everything went great. The agent was amazing, 10/10. The agent has a good heart and you can tell she's a good person surrounded by love and in business to work with you not against you. If your looking for a loan, I recommend the Powers rd branch in Mesa. read more

I received a $500 loan from them in March. I recently paid it off in August. The total paid for the $500 was 748.00. Very professional staff. They do call you if you miss a payment but that's a given. I did not have any trouble with them and recommend them over the others out there. read more

Years ago, Southwest helped me many times when I was in a bind. I now have excellent credit and no longer need their services. Title loans should always be a last resort. Also, it's important that you understand the terms of your loan. The bad reviews here seem to be from people that either 1. Didn't pay or 2. Didn't realize there was interest. (?!) First of all, a title loan is a high interest loan. If you don't understand how loan principal and interest work, maybe get a friggin' clue before signing loan documents. Second, if you don't pay (and don't communicate!), they will repossess your car because your car is being used as collateral (look that up too, dumbass!) A title loan is not free money with no interest, payable if/when you decide. Also, if YOU SIGN, you are AGREEING TO THE TERMS, a legally binding process which cannot therefore be construed as predatory lending. Furthermore, the loan reps make the process very transparent by walking you through the terms and actually explain to you "this is what you pay every month just to cover interest", "this is what this loan will cost you for one year", etc., etc. Averse to the terms? Don't sign and walk out. Anyhoo, idiots aside, this place has low rates, and reps are personable and willing to work with you if you need a few days to extend a payment. Excellent, professional company-- I never felt like I was walking into a seedy ghetto place when I went to sign documents. The loan officers are friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I needed a quick cash loan on the double. We thought we carefully picked out a quick short term loan out of the Tempe location off of Broadway and Rural. Every thing from start to finish was a nightmare time wise. After a quick month they repossessed our truck without notice even after having a payment arrangement for the next morning. To make matters worse it was a weekend. I will say the repossession guy and girl for Night Ryder transportation where very nice an unbelieve able help as well was the Tempe police department. However the truck was still going with them. They allowed us to remove everything out of it. We where actually at the bank 10 pm withdrawing the money but they couldn't take the cash. We called Southwest Title immediately and they gave us bad number after bad number to call and get a new payoff and location to pick the truck back up. After all other expenses adding up, Uber etc. Finally after days of fighting we finally received the information we desperatley needed my wife finally found a number to the repossession agent. The following Monday almost 7 to 10 days later and hundreds of more dollars we made it in to the Southwest Tempe with a current payoff of $10600 then to Nite Ryder to pay their fees in cash. 150.00. Southwest had all new employees and couldn't print off us a damn receipt. Nite Ryder had to call them themselves to verify the payoff. We where told the title would be mailed to us within 5 days. That was Nov.6th,2017. It's almost February 2018. The only thing I can get out of Southwest Title is for us to call the Dept. Of Licensing ourselves. Then HANGUP. They tell us to call Southwest. My wife and I are besides ourselves with the amount of unprofessionalism and abuse. We beg and plead with you before you go to them or anyone else don't don't follow our mistake. We knew it was a bad one from the time we considered a non traditional loan. Also the Tempe location seems to now be closed and is never open. Never again. Ban these company's. Do the right thing. When a resolution is completed I will repost. read more
