This food truck is situated right outside of Carbondale heading towards the Scranton/Carbondale…read moreHighway, and right off the Meredith Street exit from the Casey Highway. It's tucked in a little off the road and could be easy to miss. They are open from 11 am to 8 pm. I highly suggest you call in your order as there was only one person ahead of me and I waited almost 20 minutes for the fresh cooked deliciousness that was my lunch. It was TOTALLY worth the wait; however, if you are limited on time, order ahead. The food was delicious! I ordered the chicken/shrimp hibachi, which came with perfectly cooked Japanese fried rice, vegetables (onion, carrot, squash and some kind of bluish cabbage?) and "yummy" sauce (which IS very yummy BTW--ask for extra and thank me later). The shrimp was grilled and not overcooked. The grilled chicken chunks were tender. The food was so good I almost choked on a piece of rice from inhaling my food lol. #IcantbelieveIatethewholething They give you a nice portion of food--I was full a little more than halfway through but it was so good, I couldn't stop eating. Now I want a nap! I am so happy this place is only a hop, skip and a jump from my workplace! Yes, they take credit cards.

Great portions. The flavors are fantastic. Always fresh. Never rubbery meat or chicken. Good cuts. Plus the meal deals are a winner! 2- They have always treated me as a valued customer for over a year now. And the owner is very apologetic when the order is delayed by any reason. This is a food truck and not Gordon Ramsey's kitchen. So get over it Pete T. 3- Prices are very good. Sometimes I wish they would park daily at my workplace. 4- Not a huge menu, but nice 8 item menu with specials. All in all, They are for me, on of the best trucks in the area.

A great spot for chicken and rice when on the go, this food truck serves good food at fair prices…read more I've tried the chicken and lamb over rice and the meal is tasty, filling and sold at a good price. Personally, I'm not raving about it and nothing about the meal has really jumped out at me. The meal is solid, but not AMAZING. I haven't tried any other the other meals or items they sell, so I won't speak on those. What I did notice, is that they sell Snapples, and occasionally, some Arizona Iced Teas. This might not mean anything for some, but Snapples and Arizona Iced Teas come with a wave of nostalgia as they were my favorite beverages when I was growing up. The workers are pleasant and friendly, so that's a plus. One thing to note is that this cart has various locations/open hours depending on the day of the week (refer to picture). Depending on your situation and allotted time for lunch, the cart's changes in locations can be a minor inconvenience or a great convenience. It really all depends. Overall, this cart sells tasty food. The reason for the 4 star rating is that nothing really separates this cart from other halal carts I've tried (which may not be an issue as there aren't many other carts in the area). Regardless, this cart is a solid stop and may very well fancy your taste buds. Give it a try, and if able, let me know your thoughts!

The birria tacos had a strong cinnamon flavor we couldn't get past. That was all it tasted like and I just don't like beef that tastes like cinnamon. I did ask the bartender if they used it and she said yes they cook the beef with cinnamon stick and cardamon which gives it that flavor. I asked bc I thought maybe I just got a bad batch. Also we ordered the jalapeno queso, didn't like that either it had a bacon flavoring. The chips were also soaked in grease so they get chewy and a weird texture. The dessert was the saving grace being I was still so hungry bc I couldn't eat the other things. Dessert was great. I would just recommend trying something different else if you go. Or maybe adding the flavor profile on the menu so people are aware before ordering.
