After seeing Dr Brian Wilson at his office he told me he would get authorization for a gel shot in my knee for complex medial meniscus tear and arthritis. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing I finally got someone to answer the phone. She promised to get back with me and update status. It appears to me that the financial / billing polices of Southwest Orthopaedic Group in Austin on William Cannon Drive are unethical and dishonest and possible illegal as far as Medcare rules are concerned. The doctors I have had there over the last 3 years, three of them, are good doctors. But it appears that the financial / billing policies of Southwest Orthopaedic Group owners and managers affect and impact the quality and quantity of the treatment you seek for your condition from the doctors there. It appears that they just make up how much you have to pay at the window of the doctor's office and you cannot go in and see the doctor you have an appointment with unless you pay the cash amount they demand from you. You have to remember to request a paper receipt and when you get the receipt it does not tell you EXACTLY in words and codes what the charge is for. I am currently trying to investigate some charges I paid so far with my Medicare Advantage plan (administrator company United Health Care) which is one of the plans as part of my Texas Teacher Retirement plan. I am dealing with United Health Care customer service people for several weeks now but they have not answered me as far as a decision for reimbursement regarding the Southwest Orthopaedic Group bills that I am questioning and appealing. Since apparently it is okay for doctor's offices to not have to tell you WHAT THE CHARGE IS FOR. that you have to pay in cash, check or credit card at the window if you want to keep your appointment and see the doctor. As a help to anyone who is planning to go to Southwest Orthopaedic Group doctor for the first time or as an old patient and you have a strict budget that you must live by, I strongly suggest you get a statement in paper for the lowest amount you may have to pay at the window on the day of your appointment so you can decide if you can afford to keep that appointment date based on your budget. This will save you a wasted trip to the Southwest Orthopaedic Group doctor's office if you are on a tight budget and this may save you from messing up your credit rating by going ahead and paying a very high dollar unplanned for amount at the window. I hope I hear back from United Health Care Insurance / Medicare Advantage regarding my appeal of the charges I have received from Southwest Orthopaedic Group that I feel are not only inaccurate (wrong CPT code etc) but also are highly unethical appearing on the surface and made me not able to get the medical treatment I went there for and that I did not completely receive. read more

!!!!AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Dr Patel and Sullivan were very kind and knowledgeable. I wished they passed that same kindness and passion down down to their staff. Wait staff was rude and un-professional. They try to avoid responsibilities and put things back on you. They do not try and help or mediate a situation or help you get treatment for your medical needs. This is in reference to my knee surgery that Trisha my "Surgery Director" offered to get me set up with one of those leg scooters that you place your knee on as a crutch alternative for people with lower leg injuries(ex: foot and ankle). How am i suppose to use that after knee surgery ? She failed to offer my insurance company correct information regarding my surgery and it was ultimately denied over her lack of knowledge. If you need to have any type of surgery done big or small, I am positive there are other doctors you can see that will offer better costumer service and case management than Southwest Orthopedic Group has to offer. read more

About 20 years ago my rheumatologist suggested I have the ganglion cyst on my wrist removed. I went to a reputable hand surgeon, surgery was successful, but the wound wouldn't close up. He tried another surgery and it still didn't close. He wanted to try a third time but I declined. (!) I found another well respected surgeon and had a 3rd surgery. The synovial fluid still regularly leaked out of the hole in my wrist!! Gross!! Dr Patel had just finished his fellowship with Dr. Green in SA, who wrote the book on hand surgery and had recently moved to Austin. (He had been selected from 400 candidates!) Dr. Patel did my 4th surgery, said I might be in pain afterwards because he'd really dug around in my wrist. I had no pain and soon my wound - after 10 months! - no longer leaked. Can you imagine how thrilled I was?? I started crying, so relieved my ordeal was over. Luckily Dr Patel doesn't mind tears! Over the next 20 years I went to him from time to time due to my rheumatoid arthritis. I was thankful to have a hand doctor I could trust! Recently he relocated the nerve in my elbow so that some fingers were no longer numb. He fixed me up in no time and the feeling in my fingers has returned. I've heard great things about Dr. Patel, who was highly recommended by a number of colleagues when my boyfriend broke his pinky. His work as a surgeon was exemplary and I have no complaints. His office, however, is comprised of the most frustrating and incompetent individuals I have ever met. First, let's talk about Cheryl. Cheryl is Dr. Patel's assistant. She came into our consultation to talk to us about our insurance and scheduling a date for surgery. She talked a million miles a minute and refused to give us a direct answer. "How much does this surgery cost on average?" was met with dissemination about plate vs. pins without even hinting at a number. She also told us that she would email him with information regarding our insurance and his facilities (which never came) and that the anesthesiologist would call with information (which also never came). We still have no idea who his anesthesiologist was. We showed up for surgery early Monday morning and everything went well. We went home a little after 10:00a.m. and he proceeded to sleep most of the day. I answered a call on his phone from the woman in charge of appointments and told her he was sleeping and that we'd call back later. We didn't get the chance to call but planned on calling back on Tuesday, Well, Tuesday morning my boyfriend gets an angry phone call from appointment lady - Jessica or Jennifer, I can't remember which. She demanded to know why he hadn't shown up for his appointment (that we had never scheduled) and mentioned something about occupational therapy. Cheryl, the original assistant, had told him he could choose an OT in San Marcos (where we live) instead of driving the 45 minutes to Austin. As soon as J-something heard this, she responded with a snippy comment and HUNG UP ON MY BOYFRIEND. Who was legitimately confused! When I called back and spoke to someone else named Brooke, she kindly informed that not only had this first appointment been scheduled, there was a SECOND appointment scheduled that we hadn't been informed of! Fantastic. I told her to cancel that appointment, scheduled the FIRST appointment we had been told to make, and asked about the custom splint we had been told to look into. She said there was a hand therapist in San Marcos who could do the job and said she would give them a call and have them contact us. Of course, no contact. So I call SWOG back and get the original appointment lady J-something, who hung up on my boyfriend. I asked her about the custom splint in San Marcos. She crafts a complete and UTTER LIE about the conversation she had with him, claiming that she had explained what he needed (untrue) and that Dr. Patel prefers his patients to have OT with his group (also untrue!) She got me the number for CTMC (San Marcos facility) for the custom splint and I also asked about his anesthesiologist and she said she would get that information and call me back. This, too never happened. Fast forward to today, boyfriend gets a robo-call from SWOG to remind him of - guess what - that appointment I thought I had cancelled two weeks ago. Now he has to call back tomorrow and tell them, again, that he has a different appointment time that he was given at his first appointment with Dr. Patel. This whole ordeal has been ridiculous and made an already difficult process much worse. My boyfriend still has two weeks of having his pins in before he can have them removed and I dread having to interact with the SWOG front office again. read more

Dr. Patel receives five stars but his physician's assistant, William Fox, receives three stars. Both Dr. Patel and his medical assistant (not Aurelia) said they were going to send in an MRI order for the thoracic spine. William Fox usually signs the order for Dr. Patel, but nothing was ordered after two weeks. Aurelia's voice mail is always full so you can't leave a message. I had to call Aurelia and ask her to submit the order, when she wasn't even working the day they said they were going to order it. Aurelia said she didn't see a request for an order in my notes. William Fox took notes during the entire appointment. read more

I cannot speak about other doctors at this group but AVOID DR SULLIVAN AT ALL COSTS!!!!! This was quite literally the worst Dr. experience of my life. I am referring specifically to Dr Sullivan. I was assigned to Dr Albrect originally by the VA in December 2020. I called in late January to find out why no one from this office called to set up appt. It seems Dr Albrect was smart enough to leave this practice months before but no one there informed me of his departure. When I finally got an appt with Dr Sullivan in mid March 2021 I told him I had an MRI done at the VA was told by his office that it was my responsibility to provide the MRI. After a 20 second look at my knee he decided that there was no way it was an ACL tear after providing him with the report from the MRI that stated just that!! That's when I should have run away, but let him give me a visco injection two weeks later. The injection caused loss of mobility and a lot of pain. I was referred to Physical Therapy but no one ever called. After 3 weeks I called to find out why. It turns out the place they referred me to DOES NOT DO PHYSICAL THERAPY!!!! That company sent it back to Sullivans office that same day explaining THEY DO NOT DO PHYSICAL THERAPY and that's where it sat for more than 3 weeks until I started investigating why no one had called me!!He caused me great harm with the injection without waiting to see the July 2020 MRI or ordering a new one. His inability to listen to me combined with world class arrogance and close minded approach to my care was infuriating. I kept my appt today so I could complain to his face why I fired him. He's too old, his bedside manner is deplorable and this old man needs to retire before he causes more damage to other patients. No one needs a doctor so badly that they should resort to using Dr Sullivan. Please do yourself a favor and get a different physician immediately, it will save you a lot of aggravation and probably save you a lot of pain as well! read more

I was not happy with the treatment I received from Dr. Albrecht. Even though I told him I had multiple physical therapy sessions and could get my PT on the phone during our appointment he did not want to talk to him even though the PT had an in depth understanding of my injury and progress. Dr. Albrecht said he would review my progress charts but never did because he never asked for them. This goes without mentioning some of the staff are unprofessional with tattoos and grungy appearance. Also the PT informed me of a tear in my shoulder that Dr. Albrecht never mentioned after reviewing my MRI. All they want is your money and rush you into surgery because thats where the big $$$$ is for them. You are simply just a number here. They will rush through as many patients as possible. read more

Dr. Manish Patel is the best hand doctor in Austin. After being diagnosed with Duputreyn's Contracture, a connective tissue disease I sought opinions of many hand Doctor's in Austin and San Diego, CA. Dr. Patel was the only Doctor willing to do the Xiaflex injection a two day hand procedure. The other Doctor's wanted to do hand surgery. After all there is more money in that for them. But for the patient the injection was a miracle. Dr.Patel's energy, efficiency, brilliance and competence gave me back usage of my hand. Everyone in his staff helped me, Christine, Jennifer, Penny, Jasmine, Keri I have to thank them all for taking my numerous phone calls and being so helpful. They made what could have been a bad experience good. I also saw Dr. Sullivan in this practice and was very happy with him. The whole practice has it together. I came here to leave a review after having two successful carpal tunnel release surgeries by Dr. Patel. Boy was amazed by the amount of bad reviews! The doc took the time to explain the pros & cons of this procedure. Answered all my questions.... and we set a date. First one went perfect.... so I set up the second one two weeks later! All symptoms are now gone and I'm loving life! SWOG runs a fine tuned machine. From the appointment person all the way to the billing dept. My only complaint is the hold times on the phone! I recently had a near complete rupture of my left bicep tendon and was referred to Dr Patel. He came highly recommended and is considered to be "the" upper extremity Guy in Austin....He did not disappoint. A quick exam in his office without any fancy MRIs and he had the diagnosis. He had me in surgery literally the next day and I was back to 80% full function in less that 4 weeks. I will never go to anyone else if I get another upper extremity injury. Dr Sullivan's office is extremely unorganized and horrible! They have made a mistake on paperwork I needed for short term disability at least 4 times. I call their office about once a week and they assure me each time that it will get done. I am currently sitting in their waiting room because they told me I needed another appointment to get Dr Sullivan to fill out the paper. I've been waiting since 2:30 and there are still 2 people ahead of me and it's 5:10 PM. For a doctor that spends less than 5 minutes with each patient, he sure is slow. I've waited 45 minutes at the least and mostly more than an hour and a half. He's a rip off artist for milking my insurance company and my wallet just to fill out one form. Ridiculous. read more

Two years ago I had a fall that crushed my wrist. I had surgery from Dr. Patel consisting of a titanium plate with 9 screws. Dr. Patel had an odd bedside manner, but I think he did a good surgery on my wrist and I have no complaints. I also had a great experience with my occupational therapist, in fact, I credit her with the majority of my long terms success. That's the positive news. The customer service was astonishingly bad. The front desk staff seem like zombies and unable to complete basic tasks expected of clerical staff. The medical aids were not much better. The first visit felt like a circus when they were pushed me to buy a crappy splint for $40, then a few miles down the road and I turned back to get the one I had from the hospital that was better. But by far the worst experience was Dr. Patel's PA. He talked a mile a minute and would rush me out the door. Seriously, I don't think any of my follow up visits lasted more than 4 minutes. I was very concerned about how much pain I was experiencing, especially nerve pain. He wouldn't take the time to hear my concerns or provide me with helpful information. He would write a script for medication and was rude about it afterwards. He is the primary reason I would never return there. I would advise anyone getting surgery from Dr. Patel to insist on having their follow up appointments with him only and not his PA (I believe his name was William Fox). If your insurance does not give you many options then this place is ok. But I won't go back - hopefully I never need to (fingers crossed) read more

I inquired with the receptionist and she said there are two people ahead of me. That confirmed my fears, because while filling out my paperwork two people came in, and both had 3:15 appointments with the same doctor. This blatant lack of respect is just unacceptable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNHELPFUL MEDICAL FACILITY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I was referred to Dr. Patel from an urgent care facility. I wish I had never gone at all. First, his medical assistant Sheila: - constantly cut me off during intake/first visit - did not call in my prescription, leaving me in great pain - lied about prescriptions and dosage that had been sent to pharmacy - utterly useless and completely unprofessional, even rude Dr. Patel: - overall lack of interest in injury - overall lack of concern with my progress - refused to do peer-to-peer consultation with insurance so that I could get the MRI I needed - refused to prescribe medication and tried to send me to a pain management clinic - made an unnecessary surgery his only course of action I could go on and on about my experiences, but what it boils down to is that I wasted two months trying to work with these people. I finally switched and went to Texas Orthopedics. Within 5 days of seeing a doctor there, I received the MRI that I had not been able to get for two months with Dr. Patel. Based on the results of that MRI, the treatment has already begun. Whereas Dr. Patel was fixated on a complicated surgery in my chest, the ACTUAL issue is in my neck, and there is no surgery required to remedy the issue. It is honestly frightening to think that I would still be wasting my time, not addressing the actual medical issues, and having unnecessary surgery had I continued seeing Dr. Patel. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Patel. I had a very serious finger infection. The previous doctors were not capable of helping me. Within minutes of seeing me, Dr. Patel began setting up an emergency surgery. He ended up giving up part of his 4th of July to make sure I got better...and I did. I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Manish Patel for many years. He found and removed a blood clot in my left hand, years later, fixed a trigger finger in my left hand, and has recently repaired my left bicep tendon that was hanging on by a thread. He is the most personable, kind, and compassionate doctor in Central Texas. He always gets me in when I need to see him and takes all the time necessary to make sure I'm comfortable. I'm never rushed and always very well attended to. He is by far the best of the best when it comes to hands, arms, and shoulders. I was referred to Dr. Angirasa through Urgent Care for a broken ankle. After viewing my x-rays he said that I had a compound fracture that spiraled up my Fibula about 4 inches. He really emphasized the point that there were TWO fractures. That was one of the reasons he recommended surgery, at which point I started sobbing. I'm the owner of a new fitness studio & this was a critical time in my business. I resisted surgery but he emphasized that he needed to stabilize the bone with a plate & screws. He said that the recovery time was going to be 6-8 weeks whether I had surgery or whether I didn't. Then he proceeds to tell me that if I don't have surgery that I have complications of arthritis & that there was also a chunk of bone that chipped and digging into my bone, that the break was not "clean". I initially thought he was super cool, his bedside manner was super gentle, and he was very caring asking me why I was so upset. This made me trust him...so I scheduled the surgery for Tuesday. Luckily, I have a friend who is an ortho physicians assistant & who saw the x-ray and she said she was going to research who the "best" guy in Austin was. Thank God that she did. She got me into See Dr. Laverty, who is one of the top trauma ortho surgeons in the area. He saw me within two hours even though his day was completely booked, looked at the x-rays, asked what the first Dr. said, and immediately told me that he sees 400 of these types a year & he never operates. He took a few more x-rays to confirm what he saw in the first set of x-rays that Dr. Angirasa saw, and confirmed his recommendation - NO SURGERY!. He also explained why...essentially he said that the number of fractures doesn't matter. That the thing that matters is whether the Tibia (big bone) is stable as a result of the fibula fracture. Mine was STABLE and as a result he put me in a walking boot for stability, told me to not put any pressure on it, and that he wanted to see me in two weeks. Because Dr. Angirasa's bedside manner was so awesome & he was so kind when I saw him, I thought...this most just be a mistake on his end & that it might be a learning opportunity for him. I immediately called to cancel my surgery, but had to leave a message, asking someone to call me back. I narrowly avoided surgery by 14 hours. The surgical coordinator called me the next day asking me why I canceled a surgery and I let them know I got a 2nd opinion. What she said next BLEW MY FREAKING MIND. I literally wrote her exact words down after she said them because I was so shocked. "Dr. Angirasa told you that surgery wasn't necessary but that it was the fastest way to get you walking" Ummm what? No he didn't!!!! What he said was that surgery was necessary, that I had two fractures & that it wasn't stable. He specifically told me that recovery time was the same regardless of whether I had surgery or let it heal on its own. He said that b/c I'm young I really want this injury to heal properly so that I don't get arthritis. He did NOT give me an option... Wouldn't you think that if a Dr. really believed by his/her recommendation that they would stand by it regardless of what another Dr. said? Not once did they try to tell me that I needed surgery to ask me to reconsider. Clearly the initial diagnosis wasn't as necessary as he made it seem. One would have to wonder why a Dr. would do that? This is speculation but I now believe that this was a recommendation to get a lot more money from insurance from an operation than from a boot and a follow up appointment. I would never have opted for surgery as a first means of action had it not been absolutely recommended by the Dr. The lesson here is twofold: 1. Always get a 2nd oppinion 2. Don't go to Dr. Angirasa By the looks of these other reviews, the entire medical group could use a house cleaning. I wanted to be as accurate in my review b/c this is really important. I would never bad mouth a business b/c I know that yelp reviews are really important to future business...but I feel very strongly about my experience. read more

I've read all the reviews about Southwest Orthopaedic Group, and although I can't speak for all of their surgeons, I can definitely speak for Dr. Brian Sullivan and his outstanding staff. Dr. Sullivan is hands down the best surgeon we could have ever wished for. This is a doctor who loves his work and loves helping people. You sense his passion for helping people right away when you meet him, and it becomes immediately validated when you talk to his direct staff and also the staff from the surgery facility. Dr. Sullivan gave us his full attention whenever we met, and he took time to answer all of my wife's questions. (She had a post-ER elbow surgery.) Since this was her first surgery, she had quite a few questions, understandably. Dr. Sullivan not only eased all of our concerns, but educated us on the surgery that was about to take place. He and his staff were excellent from beginning to end -- pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgery. A number of surgeons we researched choose not to meet directly with their own patients post-surgery, but Dr. Sullivan truly cares about the well-being of his patients. He follows through completely, and he personally makes sure he got the surgery done right. We found the staff, particularly Dr. Sullivan's staff, to be warm, friendly, and personable. Michael was our Medical Assistant, and he was excellent. We enjoyed being greeted and working with Michael during each of our visits, and he was thorough and thoughtful at explaining what he was about to do whether it be undressing the wound, removing stitches, cleaning the lacerations, etc. Trisha was our Surgery Coordinator, and she was especially helpful and comforting throughout the entire process, not only in getting our surgery scheduled, but also post-surgery when we had follow-up questions over the phone. (Admittedly, no one returned our calls when we called the main office line at SOG so we felt so fortunate to have Trisha's contact info when we had follow-up questions and needed a prescription refill from the doctor. Trisha really came through when we needed her!) Finding the right surgeon and deciding whether or not to move forward with surgery is a heavy decision to make. We felt like we were in exceptional hands with Dr. Sullivan and his staff, and we would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a patient, highly ethical, passionately gifted surgeon. I saw Dr. Sullivan after a knee injury I got just wouldn't heal...I couldn't tell you if he's a good doctor or not, the 0.007 seconds he's spent with me did not give me enough time to judge. After diagnosing me with osteoarthritis, he suggested I get Supartz shots. Told him I was on board, let's get this done as soon as possible. No contact from his office so I did the leg work calling my insurance company trying to figure out if it was covered; was told that it likely would be, but the doctor had to send the info in for review. Called them and sent messages through the online portal (48 hours to reply - ha!) I got one response telling me they were busy and I would have to work it out with the billing department and nothing after that. I guess if I'm not being cut open it's not worth it to them to follow up on my care. read more

Wish i can give no stars! Place is a big joke. Went in for my friends appointment and was told we needed to bring a cd of her xrays which was not mention by the hospital or the office that we had to bring. So women from the office told us that we can come back the next day. Which was a problem as one...we live in elgin and 2 we drove way to far to come back. As i explained this to her she said we can rush across the street to the austin radiologist to get xrays done real quick and we can come back. She said she will notify the office now so we can be in an out. We get to the radiologist office which is liberally across the street with min traffic to get through and we walk in to find out her papers hasnt been sent over yet. 3mins go by and front desk lady had to call to get the info herself. It took 12mins tops to get in an out of the radiologist place and we rush right back over to dr patels office and was told dr patel has left at 5pm. It was 506pm when we walked in the office. I told the lady he told the nurse to send us over to the radiologist so we didnt have to make another appointment and he just up and leaves. First off when we tried to make an appointment we wanted a morning appointment but was told dr patel doesnt come in till 3pm so we had to have our appointment at 350pm. So it pisses me off that this dr patel is only available for 2 freaking hours a day and he wasnt willing to sit around and help his new patient. This right here tells me this dr patel doesnt care for his patients anyways. So after all that we had to find another place to go. I wasnt goin to make a waste of a trip so we decided to go to a place called DOC orthapedic in the same area that did walk ins and stayed open till 7pm and finally got my friend the help she needed. All we needed to know if she was goin to need surgery or any kind of medical help with her cracked elbow. So please if you dont want an uncaring orthapedic to help you....AVOID DR Patel. He just another rich doctor who just doesnt care about his patients and who is too in a hurry to run out his office. read more

Dr. Sullivan is nice, professional, and attentive. The problem with this office is I have been scheduled for appointments and when I take off work to go, I'm told that appointment is next week. Really? Because I put it in my iPhone while I was on the phone with you. I'm scheduled for MRI's, yes more than one and both times the staff couldn't get the complete order so Either I was almost sent home without the MRI and then I couldn't schedule the other for a week and had to change my follow up appointment because of it. I've had one- two hour waits at every appointment and little to no understanding from staff about why I'm unhappy with this medical office. I work in healthcare and we are always striving to improve patient satisfaction. I don't find that to be the case in this office. Thumbs down SWO! read more

I was referred here by Texas Med Clinic after breaking my foot. Once you get back, the doctor is nice and helpful, nothing above and beyond but not bad. My biggest issue is that I always arrive early and after 3 visits, the shortest wait in the waiting room was 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Then of course you go to the back room, talk to the tech/nurse and then wait again. read more

I had hand surgery with Dr. Patel in February. At the time, I recall thinking what a low budget organization this was. Now, six months after the surgery, I am still getting surprise bills from what appears to be every single person in that 12-minute surgery. None of that was mentioned in any of the pre-op consults or financial meetings. When I wrote a letter to SWO questioning a bill for an occupational therapist evaluation (that's what they called removing the stitches after the surgery), there was no reply or response. Today, I learn they turned it over to a collection agency. Seriously?? I would like to give them a big zero, but Yelp won't allow that. read more

I went to Southwest Orthpaedic Group due to an bicep injury of my right arm. I was referred by Contentra. I thought since it was a workers comp that it would be done in unprofessional manner. But let me tell you from day one Dr Patel and staff were amazing. They were on top of there game from the get go. The day of the surgery was very pleasant. They explained everything in detail and the surgery went without a hitch. I was seen by Dr Patel and staff for four months. Dr Patel and Staff do an amazing job he does his job with great professionalism. If I ever need service again by Orhopaedics I will go there. Dr. Manish Patel operated on my left elbow on Monday and transposed my left ulnar nerve. He also manipulated my left shoulder while under anesthesia to correct a 'frozen shoulder'. I've been in physical therapy for several days to keep the shoulder from freezing up again, and so far I'm very happy with the results. Dr. Patel is a very professional surgeon who prides himself on being prompt. When you are lying and waiting on a surgeon to start operating and you are 4th or 5th in line, you really do appreciate someone who is prompt so you don't have to lie there stressing out any longer than necessary. I'm already suffering much less and the dressings won't be off for a week, so I know he did a good job. I would trust him to operate on me again. read more

Felt completely robbed at Southwest Orthopedic. After waiting about 30 minutes to see the dr (just to have results of an MRI read) Dr. Sullivan walks in (spends no more than 2 whole minutes with us) and tells us results are fine and hands me a piece of paper sending us somewhere else because he says he can't tell us what's wrong. I paid $100 for this? I feel like he could have easily called me to tell me that. Especially since he was just handing me off to someone else. I feel ripped off. read more

Dr Albrecht performed my knee surgery, he did an amazing job I feel like a whole new person because of it I'm able to do the activities I once used to and he really improved my quality of life I am truly greatful for this wonderful surgeon read more

Went for shoulder pain, and they ordered 2 mri's that my insurance didn't cover. They do not check this for you like other doctors offices, and now I'm stuck with the bill. Oh, and they said nothing was wrong with me. Went for accupncture and they resolved my issue in 1 visit and $30. Biggest waste of time and money ever. read more

Southwest Orthopedics ~ Dr Michael M. Albrecht is an extremely good doctor very knowledgeable and very gifted Orthopedic surgeon. Cheryl Walker, is the best nurse who is very efficient & helps with all details!! I would highly recommend SW Orthopedic group, they are the best Doctors & Nurses who are extremely component & know what they are doing. Thanks to Dr Albrecht's rotater cuff surgery on my husband who is 57 now has a better range of motion! And that's a Praise to God! read more
