All the crews were adhering to pandemic protocols and they still don't assign anyone in the center seat unless it's a family traveling together. So, I don't know if others have noticed that the aisle has become a little bit tighter over the years. I know all the carriers are packing in the number of seats these days but that's not much of a problem if you're under 5' 5". I really like the entertainment systems built into the seats. There are numerous options for you from watching movies to playing games to monitoring your flight progress. You can even play multiplayer games if you know the seat number(s) of those you want to challenge. Earphones are complementary...just ask! There's also WiFi available for a fee. They provided a small snack bag that comes with a small bottle of water and crackers (or similar). All my flights were on schedule. No problem flying with Delta in the future.

Got to Atlanta and was told to wait where the fragile stuff would arrive. I waited 2 hours! No staff around! It never showed up so I was told it would be at my destination. Got to Gainesville, it was late, I felt horrible and just wanted to be home. Everyone had their luggage. All staff but one had gone home. No painting! I was told it would arrive the next day. They had a dog relief area immediately in front of the airports main terminal so perfectly positioned for quick access coming off the plane or a final relief before entering the airport. The layout of the main concourse (A&B) is unique in that there is a separate upstairs area/walkway with seating, some food options, and it overlooks the terminals. Terminal C is in an entirely separate building which I didn't know until picking someone up. You cannot access those gates from the main concourse so check your gate before you head to the main building because that may not be the correct one.

With that said, if you're President's Circle or Gold Plus, you DO need to go to the Rental desk first prior to getting in your rental, there isn't a "Black Board" with your information waiting for you. Once you're done with the Rental desk, the shared parking lot is a short walk and you'll be in your rental car in no time. I don't know who controls the inventories, but I was put in literally a brand new Toyota Sienna XLE Minivan with 20 miles on it. it was a great ride, i've never rented a cat and got a brand new car! Returning the rental was a bit odd, they weirdly don't have trash cans at the return area and stated just to keep the trash in the car. bizarre.

As a resident of Northwest Florida it's really nice to be able to say that I've found the best car rental location I've ever used, right here in the Niceville/Fort Walton Beach area. I've rented cars and vans from Advantage Rent-A-Car at the VPS airport over the past year. And I remember thinking to myself what a great experience it was, the first time I did business with them, and in every succeeding experience I've had with them. The customer service at the counter has been fantastic. The ladies who work there are always very friendly and helpful, they always offer me options that allow me to limit my costs while getting the best vehicle I can for the money I spent. Every time I've rented a vehicle from Advantage the cars and vans have been in top condition, and with low mileage. As someone who spends thousands of dollars a year on rental cars it's important to me to get good value and service. The Advance Rent-A-Car office at Northwest Florida Regional Airport is the friendliest, most professional business of it's kind I've ever had the pleasure to spend money with, and they've convinced me to look for Advantage offices wherever I travel.
