Moved into the main area and honestly, with all the big rigs that pulled in, it can get very cramped for "privacy". Add to that some dogs and it can get very interesting. As usual at an RV site, some people have ZERO clue about site etiquette. Several folks walking their dogs around my site. My dogs did not appreciate that. But that's the only complaint I had - a bit cramped when all sites around you are full, and people are the same no matter where we camp. The people running this site are the best!! Tom helps you park and it makes it SO easy to back into the spot. First try, boom, all set!! The beach is only a few blocks away, totally walkable. That said, they also provide a ride to and from the beach on the golf cart. Very helpful when you're lugging all your beach stuff. Expensive to stay, but it was a great vacation. I'd stay here again.

We arrived to an incredible view of the beach and a fresh box of Okaloosa Donuts waiting for us. The room was sparkling clean and had everything we needed for our stay. If we had stayed longer, we probably would have taken advantage of the fully stocked kitchen, but we wanted to check out as many of the local restaurants as we could We had such a nice time and will be back soon! The owner is a very nice man who will assist you with parking your rig/rv. He keeps the park well groomed and spotless of any debris. Living there was both tranquil and therapeutic. The lot was pretty level. There is a picnic table and full hookup, electric, water and septic. That's all you need for a comfortable stay. The room was a lot smaller than we thought it would be, but it was nicely decorated, and the view was to die for. We were on the sixth floor and that view was the best I've ever had. The room wasn't as clean as I had hoped for. The floors needed a good cleaning, most of the dishes had to be washed straight from the cabinets, and the bunk beds had trash (empty food wrappers) under them. The parking was awful. The columns take up so much of the parking space it makes it difficult to get your car in. If you have a compact car you won't have an issue but we drive a minivan. The pool was beautiful, the staff was really kind, any time I texted the front desk I got a quick response, and they checked on us repeatedly to be sure we were having a good time. We were also provided with an ample amount of towels for our stay (5 people for 7 days). The washer and dryer worked great, the kitchen was well stocked (no potholders though), and the beach was amazing. The guy who put out our chairs each day (Troy) was amazing. He was so kind and helpful. The only complaint with the chairs is that there were a LOT of reserved chairs that were never used. We asked how to get reserved spots, but were told that was only for owners and residents. I get them getting preferential seating, but it was really frustrating being stuck in the back row when there were as many as 25 reserved seats and not even half of them being used. We were there all day several days and nobody ever used them.

We stayed in unit 101 for 5+ years, but this last time we stayed in #307. Very nice, well kept unit. The chair service is $40/day or $200/wk.
