There was great communication from the start all the way up till the time we left. It accommodated our party of four just fine. The unit itself was immaculate and the décor gave off big time beach vibes. The condos are located right off 98 with easy access to all the restaurants and stores nearby. It is also walking distance to their own beach access which was awesome and we used it daily. Unfortunately, the weather was a little chilly so we didn't brave the big, cool pool. We did take advantage of the smaller pool next to the beach. Overall, this was a great stay for us and I would come back again!

Spacious room with full kitchen and you can even rent utensils from the resort if you want to do some heavy cooking (even a turkey baster or a pizza stone)! Thought that was a nice touch. They have a gym, small arcade, small movie theater, bbq area, and much more. Certainly will keep this on my list for when we visit Destin. About 20 min from Harbor Walk. Bed was a little uncomfortable, that was my only complaint.

Summerwind, at least for our time there (mid-May) was quite nice! While large, it didn't feel like it (short of the view from the 14th floor). Elevators were readily available (huge bonus) and fast. The amenities were nice - including the little snack/souvenir shop that had all sorts of goodies. Our condo was very nice (not perfect, but very nice). I'm not reviewing the unit itself - moreso the property... However, the layout of the unit was excellent - organizing the important things (primary bedroom and living room - overlooking the beach) while separating the other bedrooms to the back of the unit. The beach is excellent (of course! That's why we go!). I was 50/50 on the pier being there. I'm not a fan of it (swimming hazard and I enjoy the view of an unobstructed gulf). However, it was also kind of cool seeing it out there. Near the end of our stay, there must've been some lifeguard training/ritual where kids were jumping off the pier into the water, then swimming to shore to ring a bell... If I were to stay in Navarre Beach again, I'd probably look to move west a little toward smaller condos. But if you stuck my in Summerwind again, I know I would have a good vacation.

Only one elevator worked for the tower, so it took a little Longer. Each tower has a hot tub & pool & bbq pits. Our hot tub was broken the whole week. Nice place next to the pier. AC worked well! We enjoyed this place, not a busy area like most beach areas.

From the moment I arrived, everyone was kind, and welcoming to both me and my service dog. They treated us with genuine warmth during a stressful time. The hotel is beautiful yet family friendly. My suite was spotless, spacious, and had plenty of room to both work comfortably and have visitors. The kitchen was well stocked, and the refrigerator was much larger than I expected. But the best part is there's no carpet in the rooms! One of my favorite features was the outdoor area overlooking the water. The pool has a gorgeous waterfront view, and there are plenty of comfortable places to sit, relax, or work. The location is excellent. There's a dog park that's just a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, nightlife, and things to do within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast offers a lot of variety, but my favorite was the oatmeal bar. I especially appreciated that coffee, tea, and hot water were available around the clock. Everything about this property exceeded my expectations, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Their kindness during a very challenging time meant more than they know. Five out of five stars. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Fort Walton Beach area.

This site intentionally overlooks and will pretend they "can't find" a confirmed reservation even when presented with the confirmation number and email, which I did when this happened to me. Front desk staff is unhelpful and and untrained, while a manager is unavailable after 5PM, so good luck when an issue occurs. In this instance the front desk employee basically told me it was not their problem and then left the front desk when I pressed for assistance. Only after escalation through my corporate travel agency were the staff willing to "walk" me to another property which was 4 miles away and of lower tier/quality. No apology, no explanation. The management of this site does not value their business travel guests and will drop your booking at a negotiated corporate rate and overbook to higher rate paying customers when opportunity presents itself. Avoid this property. I will not be booking at this site again.

Calm waves, and a lot of hermit crabs in the water! The kids had a blast digging for hermit crabs! If you have small kids that don't have as much fun going to the real beach (like my 2 year old who is afraid of the waves) this is the spot for you!

Our family of six (two adults and four children) stayed at Harbor Landing unit 601A over Memorial…read moreDay weekend 2025. When we arrived at the property we walked into water all over the tile floors and water coming out of a large crack in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We called the property manager and were told to send photos via text to a different number. We sent them immediately along with a video and then after we didn't hear back from them after almost an hour (not even a response to the photo's and videos) we called back and were told they would provide a follow-up shortly. They messaged us back at 10 p.m (over two hours later) and asked us to mop up the water with the towels in the condo (by the way, water is still coming out of the ceiling) and they would bring new towels in the morning. So we spent the first three hours of our vacation mopping up water and drying the wet bedding caused by water dripping onto it from the ceiling leak. (The water was apparently from a leak two floors above that they were already aware of). To say the customer service was horrible is a complete understatement. We booked this condo because the listing advertised its close proximity to the beach (directly across the street) "with beach access". There is beach access for Harbor Landing owners and guests, however this particular property (601A) does not provide it. After messaging the property management multiple times requesting the code or key card to access the beach, they finally responded saying that the "beach access" provided by this unit was a public beach four miles away from the property. We talked to several other guests at this same condo complex (Harbor Landing) who said they were provided access to the beach directly across the street (along with boogie boards, floatation devices, wagons, et). If we had known we would have to pack up our stuff and drive four miles to access the beach we would never have stayed in this unit. I would think there has to be some sort of rules against false advertising. Anyways, we have stayed at so many timeshare properties in the last 20 years and this was the most ill equipped property we have ever stayed at: one kitchen hand towel, one sponge, no hot pads, no paper towels, no dish cloths, not even salt and pepper.... If you wanted to cook in the room you would need to buy all the basic staples just to do so. And finally after spending the first 2+ hours of our vacation dealing with the water issue, when we asked to check out at 10:00 instead of 9:00 (which is ridiculous ) on the day of check-out - the response was a big NO. Harbor Landing is a wonderful complex - just don't book unit 601A.

Right in the middle of everything, with great restos all around, and right across the street from the beach. You get private beach access as well which is great for an uncrowded beautiful beach even during peak season. This review is for unit 504A. The views from this unit are incredible. This is a very large 3 bedroom unit. A large porch off the back has beautiful views right on Destin Harbor, which is great day and night. You can watch the swallow marsh area where fish are chasing fish, birds are catching them all, and the occasional dolphins in the deeper section. You can also watch the boats come in and out which is peaceful. Harbor Landing does have boat slips, as well as a grilling area right off the docks. The back porch also wraps around for a nice Gulf view. A second large porch is off one of the bedrooms in the front with another great Gulf view. This is a newer, modern building with a very nice pool area as well, which is a lap pool. Fitness center and hot tubs. All the bedrooms are large with private baths in each (jacuzzi in master), as well as a 4th bath in the front hall. The kitchen opens up into the dining/living area which is one huge open floor plan. The kitchen bar seats 5, and a large dining table seats 8 easily. A nice comfortable patio set to relax on as well. Granite/stainless throughout, tiled floors, wash/dry, dishwasher and stereo. This condo is equipped with wireless for your computer, flat panel Samsung and LG TVs with DVD players in each bedroom as well as a larger one in the main living area. Enjoy Destin from this unit!
