So I fire up my trusty yelp app and type in airport shuttle, looked at the highest rated service. As always, I entrusted my fellow yelpers to steer me in the right direction when I am out of town, I was not disappointed. I called and was answered (on a Saturday) by a most pleasant gentleman. Gave all my info over the phone, I also prepaid for the fare and included the tip so I did not have to worry about anything. Thank you to the reviewer who advised the old fashion carbon copy thing with the credit card, I was not interested in that floating around either. So you can prepay the fare and tip, which I suggest. I felt the price for the fare was very reasonable considering I was coming from the Milton area. I was picked up exactly when I had requested, my vehicle was clean and in good mechanical shape. My driver (I'm so sorry I can not remember his name to save my life right now) shared several very entertaining stories on our 30 min drive to the airport. Bullet points: 5 stars was earned in my view, rates very fair,on time, professionalism awesome, I felt safe the entire ride, they responded to my short notice like a 5 star company. For the company owner, thank for providing this level of service, it reflects well on you as a person. If you treat all your customers the way I was treated, your business will thrive. I would like to recommend the ability for your staff to be able to use "modern" swipe to pay technology in the car. I know that there are devices that allow even a iPhone to have that ability. I requested a pick-up at 5:00am, and Joe said he might be 5 or 10 minutes early. He was actually more like 15 minutes early, and texted my phone to let me know: "I'm outside. I'm early. Take your time!" He was cheerful and professional, and regaled my better half and me with local information (for example, I never knew the white sand at the Pensacola beaches were imported from up North), and made sure to point out old neighborhoods in Pensacola that I had said I remembered from a few years back. The taxi ride cost a little more than quotes from other places (it was $50 for the trip from Milton to Pensacola), but when you need to bank on someone actually arriving at your house at 5 in the morning, the peace of mind of knowing they will actually show up (and show up early, even! My husband and I agreed we should warn others. The business is owned/run by father and son. The son's service was excellent. The father should not be driving at all.
