From Instagram to the website, it gave the impression that it was a brewery, so I was excited to try something new. We were seated quickly outside, which was great. When our waitress came over, I asked about their beer list. She told me their cooler had gone bad and all of their beer was currently bad. I asked if they had anything on tap, and she said no. Confused, I asked if they had just opened, and she said they had actually been open since 2020. At that point, I asked if they brewed their own beer, and she told me they did not. She said someone in Dover, OH, brews for them--but currently, the only beers available were Busch, Bud, Blue Moon, and Saucy's IPA. While Saucy Brew Works is a good Ohio brewery we've visited before, it was disappointing to realize this place wasn't an actual brewery and didn't serve anything brewed in-house. I settled for the Saucy's IPA, which was fine, but I had really hoped to try their own beer--especially given the name and branding. That said, the food came out quickly and was actually quite good, which helped redeem the experience a bit. Overall, just be aware this isn't a real brewery, and if you're going for the beer, you might leave a little disappointed. But if you're just looking for a bite to eat, it's worth checking out.

Tony, the owner, is just a good man who loves his craft. I will most likely be here once a month. I hope they are wildly successful! Here's my overarching review (8.5/10 pushing a 9!!) Ok, we tried the spring rolls, pork bao bun, chicken banh mi, and a rare steak and a steak and brisket pho. Bao bun: 7/10 great piece! Truly tasty! Just not a traditional bao bun. peppery. Felt like a fusion bun. If I was rating a fusion bun, which this is an American Asian fusion to clarify, I'd give it an 8.5. But if you're looking for a traditional bao bun, this won't meet the mark for you. Chicken Banh mi: 8.5/10 I loved it. This had all of the proper elements. Crusty texture on the bread, warm garlic aioli to soften the inside of the bread, the chicken was a marinated flavorful bite. Carrots, cilantro, and jalapeños were all great. Very good banh mi. I personally wish they had a traditional marinated pork banh mi. Because this was my expectation, i believe it does not meet that standard. (Extra piece) French dip steak banh mi: I did not order it for myself though my buddy Matt did get it. Ask him on flavor profile. I spoke with the owner of the restaurant afterwards and he made a point to tell me that the French dip sauce is actually the pho broth and this was his take on a Vietnamese French dip. After knowing this I would've ordered it over the chicken as I love beef over chicken. Spring roll: 7/10 it was a miss for me. Which isn't fair because I don't love spring rolls anyways. But I was looking more for a lumpia style roll (I understand it's Philippino and not vietnamese Which isnt fair) so this may have been the biggest reason for the miss; the sauce. I truly didn't like the sauce. Also the inside of the roll seemed a bit over seasoned with pepper. I probably won't get this again, but I will absolutely replace it with other things on their menu which I love. Pho broth: 10/10 they nailed it. Clear broth. You can smell the cardamom in the air as you walk into the place. Very traditional, very tasty. It's what you should get in a bowl of pho. This is a standard. they made the main thing the main thing and I love them for it. Pho components: the meat is fresh, the noodles are cooked well, and it has all of the pieces to make a beautiful bowl- basil, green onion, cilantro, jalapeño, bean sprouts. Simply a proper bowl of pho. Cannot speak highly enough about it! Overall, I love this and will be returning. Even if it was just for the pho!

To me this personally wasn't ramen and was more like chicken noodle soup - however the broth was pretty flavorful which was nice. All the ingredients seemed very fresh as well, no issues there. I think from this restaurant I would love to see a creamy broth come in - like a tonkatsu! I would also like to see more Asian inspired drinks, I received a bottle of Lipton green tea and my mother got a bottle of water... The service was good, there was no one in the shop and they used our table as training for a new trainee, which was good to see! The waitresses were both nice and respectable. The ambiance is a bit lacking, the tables also feel like your average school lunch table which was weird. If it's going to be a ramen shop, then make it more of an Asian flare when you walk in, versus us seeing the whole kitchen and school lunch tables. Ramen for the area 3.5/5
