Club Sandwich, Fries, Salad
Matt G.

The food here is delicious. It is some of the best food I've had in as long time and I think the best side salad I've ever had in any restaurant. It was huge and filled with crisp greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, crumbled cheese. The club is stacked with turkey, ham, two kinds of cheese and a fried egg. The service was really fast and both items came out in less than 10 minutes. Set in a cool, old building. Very clean. Having said that, when you're ready to leave, the experience is destroyed. They want you to use your phone to snap a QR code on your receipt and use Clover Pay. I did, via Apple Pay. Thankfully Apple & my bank log the transaction. The server Justin, as I'm leaving said, did you use the receipt pay? I said yes. He says, "It didn't go through." I said, "Bullshit here's proof." He had to fool with his POS and even the bartender told him sometimes you have to log out and back in. When he finally did that, he saw that it was, in fact, paid. What a horrible way to treat customers and to ruin an otherwise good meal. That alone would prevent me from recommending this restaurant. He needs to get his tech in order before accusing customers of non-payment.

Belmont burger! Delicious

Great food and service! The COVID rules were being followed ! They have a heated outdoor seating area. We had a flight of beer and asked for a suggestion from the waitress for lunch since this was our first time there! We had the Belmont burger, beer batters fries, and our appetizer .. deep fried Gouda cheese bites! Great choice. Definitely will return!!

Fried fish and kale slaw

We took our second trip to Belmont Brewing Company today. My wife and I had gone agile ago and had a great experience, so we took our sons and my mother with us this time. Both times we have gone the experience has been wonderful. The food is great and the staff is friendly and attentive, this time the bartender was doubling as a server but the service didn't suffer at all. The menu is a bit on the smaller side but everything we have tried has been top notch. We both had burgers the first time. They're cooked medium/medium-well but definitely are not dry. This time I tried their swine-apple flatbread, and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. My wife had their fish and kale slaw, that's not a typo, and we both left full and happy. Being a brewing company they have a multitude of mixed drinks, "boozy" milkshakes and craft beers. We've tried a couple of their mixed drinks served in sand pales (that you can take home). My mom tried their purple elephant which is a blueberry beer and i would recommend trying it. If you're looking for a great spot to grab lunch, dinner or a drink then I would definitely recommend stopping here.

ruffino prosecco w/ popsicle & strawberries

This dinner was the perfect pairing! This place has so many fun drink options to choose from. I was originally just going to order a glass of Ruffino Prosecco (I especially love the Ruffino brand because it sounds like my last name) when the waitress offered me the fun version instead. The originally glass of champagne was $5 and this was $8.50. I got it once for fun, but then I got a regular refill. They also had fun summer bucket drinks I would get! Even had margarita and beer flights as well. I would go back just for the drinks! The food menu was limited, but good. The appetizers are honestly where it's at. I highly recommend the soft pretzel & fried pickles. The soft pretzel was unique because it was served with a side of pickled veggies and the pickles were deliciously paired with dill and a light ranch dressing. The outdoor seating was so cute with umbrellas and a nice open grass space. Not too far from Pittsburgh!

Buffalo chicken and beer battered fries.

Today's dinner was spot on as the chicken sandwich was more than expected. The beer battened fries were great. Food came out fast and hot. Will definitely be back to enjoy the flight of beers also.

Our actual waiter comes by 5 mins later and says "yall still waiting on your food?" and im like.... yeah we ordered fried pickles and a steel city burger. he comes back out with the SAME BURGER that's been passed to us 2 other times and tries to give it to us. I say for a 4th time now that we ordered the steel city burger. instead of apologizing and correcting our order, he said he "didn't hear us say that." So I just said whatever and reluctantly took the plain burger. Now it's been like 35 mins and the burger is cold. we also never got out pickles. i just took the check and we left. $15 for a cold burger that i didn't even order.

When we got there, we were sat in good order and everything was quite nice. However, we realized…read morethere was going to be some interesting developments when the server came by and he seemed a little nervous, but that's understandable. In any case we placed our orders, I ordered the breakfast platter special, which was fried chicken and biscuits with country sausage gravy my wife ordered the eggs Benedict my daughter for her birthday ordered the French toast with two eggs and my son ordered the chicken and waffles. Talking first about the chicken and waffles. I've come to see that many locations offer chicken and waffles. This being about average for what I would consider chicken and waffles as it was a small filet cut in a half upon a very thin flat waffle, which would've done better to be a Belgian waffle with a much fluffier plump chicken filet. My son did enjoy it but when he finished it the server came by and he says did you enjoy that? Was it good, it must've been good because you ate everything! Then let's discuss my wife's eggs Benedict, which she thoroughly loved. However, the ham looked like it was sliced deli ham for a sandwich instead of Canadian bacon or a little thicker slice of country ham. It's not my call, as my wife said she enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her stuffed French toast and egg. Everything was cooked to her liking and she said it had a good flavor and of all four dishes that certainly was the best of the four. as for the last dish, my Sriracha sausage gravy, fried chicken and biscuit with home fries, the jury is still out as the home fries came out a little overdone and cold. The sausage gravy looks like somebody spread it on with a paintbrush, and it wasn't very warm. The chicken was warm and did taste good and the biscuit was good, but it made no sense when the server said, it comes smothered in sausage gravy. Take a look at the picture, and it looks more like a couple tablespoons of gravy on each biscuit with the chicken. We did have a good time and the ambience of the place was very nice, especially seated along the windows looking at the snow outside and perhaps we'll give it another shot at a later date. Overall, nothing over the top but nothing to make us fear coming back either. It was just kind of middle of the road, but I am glad that the nicest dish and the best presentation went to my daughter for her 20th birthday. At least that was a saving grace as well as the lunch with the movie, listening to the various antics and chatter coming from the server.
