Cucumber kimchi
Debra W.

It's a great Korean market that is convenient and will have most of the goods that you are looking for. My only complaints are that there are Very small aisles & Slightly higher pricing than other Asian markets. To more than make it up for it - hands down the best kimchi you'll get in the Eastside. The cucumber kimchi here is insanely addicting. It's fresh, crunchy, balanced with heat and salt and slight tanginess. Also, you can get a variety of other kimchi here that I haven't seen at other markets. My fave kimchis are the ong choy and mustard green kimchi. I crave this stuff. It's perfect as is and compliments any rice dish. And if you've had it a little too long, the absolute perfect addition to any ramen bowl. Additionally, the Kimbap here is so good and so affordable. Honestly, this is the only place I'll get my kimchi from now. And it's nice that I can pick up any pantry staples that I may need while here.

Southgate Mart is a small family owned grocery store specializing in Korean goods. The store is packed with unique snacks and foods that would be essential to any Korean meal. I visited the shop specifically for their kimchi as they have some of the best around. The kimchi is pickled just right and has a good spicy flavor. If you're in the area and looking for Asian groceries or good kimchi, make sure to check out Southgate Mart!

Came for the kimbob. Was not disappointed. Nice people at the registers. Store is kind of crammed and small but I like that. Fair selection of Asian snacks and produce

Nice Korean/Asian Grocery store. Surprisingly had lots of variety of dried noodles, and frozen foods. The proprietor was very nice and friendly too! Bought some mung bean noodles and fresh rice noodles. Also purchased bean sprouts. Nice selection of spices and herbs, fresh veggies

Came here for lunch today to grab some banchan. The store is small and the aisles are narrow, but it has all sorts of Korean things from snacks, ramen, produce, Kimchi, and there's a banchan section with things from marinated raw oysters, raw crab, mustard greens, boy choy, dry squid, bean sprouts, and more! And the cashier was nice and quick. I'm definitely coming back!

This little Korean market is great! It's located in Factoria, so off of I-90, which is convenient. It's nice to have an option for Korean groceries other than H-mart (though H-mart is awesome too). Compared to H-mart, it's a lot smaller (the store overall is small and the aisles are narrower), but's it's full of stuff and it's fun to look around. They carry all the major ingredients you would need to make Korean food, plus they also sell kimbap and they sell homemade kimchi in jars in the back section (where the produce are). The chonggak kimchi (young radish kimchi) is really good! The prices are a little higher than they would be at a chain Asian grocery store, but if you don't want to go out of the way or just need to pick up something really quick, this is a great choice and you can support a local mom n pop shop!

The first T&T in the USA. Located in Factoria Mall where the Walmart used to be. Flagship sized…read morestore with big bakery and cooked food selection, and a decent sized seating area outside the cashier lanes. The mall has lots of parking, but this Bellevue location gets pretty busy on the weekends so you might need to park further away. The US version looks and feels the same as the Canadian stores. Only thing is that stuff is more expensive compared to Canadian locations, although food being expensive is a general Greater Seattle area issue. I also feel like the Bellevue store has less discounts for food items compared to the smaller Lynnwood store, which makes sense given the Bellevue store is busier and is in a wealthier area. T&T is not going to be the cheapest Asian supermarket, but they are bright, clean, and a good selection of cooked food and bakery items of decent quality. Not perfect by any means, but T&T is the best Chinese supermarket chain in the Seattle area.

Our visit there was similar to other Asian grocery stores, but pretty much in all ways better. In my opinion, the biggest differences are: Made to order food - we had Jian Bing (Crepes) and Sticky Rice Rolls that were both delicious. These could be standalone food stands and I would easily give them 5 stars for the quality and value. Hot food to go - this was self-serve and a large area. Most Asian grocery stores either don't have this or it's not self-serve Ready to eat refrigerated items - savory side dishes, but also dessert items (parfaits, mochi, cakes, pastries) A soup/congee station I think I could wander this store for hours snacking on things and finding products I've never seen before. The footprint of this store is massive, which allows them to carry more SKUs than typical stores. All of the ready to eat or made to order items gives you lots of options to eat at the store or have a quick meal at home with little to no prep. The store is extremely clean, everything is nicely labeled, and check-out is a breeze with a ton of cashiers as well as self-checkout. If you want to completely ruin your expectations for future Chinese grocery stores, visit T&T! Brendan's Rating: 5.0 Charlotte's Rating: 4.5 Shanying's Rating: 4.0 Winston's Rating: 5.0

Unlike the Walmart-sized Bellevue location, this one is the size of a regular supermarket, so means smaller selections for everything. Still has a small seating area outside of the registers, but no jianbing (Chinese crepe) station. There is still bakery and cooked food sections, but a bit smaller. Same bright white interior with the green trims as most other T&Ts. Even though it's not as big as the Bellevue store, I like the Lynnwood location a little more since there's usually more discounted cooked items. Probably because this location is not as busy and is in a less affluent neighborhood. I would usually stop by the get some Chinese groceries and a cheap meal if I'm passing nearby.

Places like Town & Country and Saar's also have extensive Asian aisles and shelves dedicated to Asian grocery items. I'm late to the party celebrating the Canadian chain T&T Supermarket. Yes, the behemoth opened in Bellevue back on 12/5/24 and this smaller one took over the former Sprouts in Lynnwood on 11/13/25. Since then, they have opened two more sites in California too. Armed with gift cards from The College Friend, The Homie and I made a spontaneous first visit to the Lynnwood store (9/30/26). I like that it is so well organized, bright, and clean. I really liked the variety of the produce, items for dim sum and hot pot, sauces & spices, snacks, meat & fish areas, cooking gear, and especially the hot food, ready to go entrees/platters, and bakery sections. We visited on a weekday mid afternoon, so parking, shopping, and checkout was easy peasy. There's even onsite seating to enjoy one's paid purchases. We demolished the pork belly and BBQ steamed buns. Interesting to note, there's chopsticks, compostable forks & spoons, straws, but no napkins or paper towels available. Pro tips: download the US based app for more deals, organize your items so checkout is straightforward, bring your own bags (although one can purchase or obtain via accrued points, their branded bags).

Possibly. I get all my pantry staples and Asian snacks here. The frozen foods are always good too. Not always the best selection on fresh produce or meats but I mostly get those at Trader Joe's anyways. S-Mart has the best prices on all my kids' favorite snacks and now they make fresh banh mi's, so it's the only grocery store my kids actually willingly go to. The employees are always helpful and friendly, especially to my little ones. You pay for the banh mi at the grocery checkout and then bring the receipt to the banh mi counter - which is just to the left inside S Marts South entrance. This is a small spot and they get busy, so perhaps check out the wait time and order before you shop. I waited 30 minutes mid day today. (S Mart has a great selection of both Asian and some non-asian foods) The staff were very nice and helpful and our order was spot on, even with our special requests of one non-toasted and without jalapenos. We'll definitely go again.

If this place had a robust meat selection, I think they could give Uwajimaya a run. I didn't find everything I was looking for, but the dry spices and vegetables were exactly what I was after. I didn't see cabbage or celery, but the selection was still more diverse than any other store I've visited. My singular knock was the two guys stocking the store. Both were kind and polite, but they also had radios blasting music. I'm sensitive to sound, so it made it hard for me to focus and I'm sure a couple items I was after I missed, because I couldn't stay in the area where they were stocking merch.
