I was so surprised by the fraudulent behavior of the over the counter staff, specifically the old man and his son Mohammad, engaged in what I consider to be deceitful behavior and their business practices are steeped in lies and dishonesty at this so-called Tel Ford Service mechanic shop. I initially visited their shop for a simple fuel pump replacement, a task that should have been straightforward. However, they deliberately sabotaged the brand-new part I had personally purchased, forcing me to buy an identical one from them at an exorbitant $567 markup. To add insult to injury, they charged me an additional $300 in labor fees. The old man initially promised to source a superior pump directly from the manufacturer, with the expectation of improved quality justifying the higher price. However, it became clear that he had simply ordered the same Napa Auto Parts pump that I had originally provided (the one he had vandalized). When confronted, he refused to speak with me directly, instead sending his son as an intermediary to feign ignorance. In the end, I was swindled out of over $860 beyond the original estimate. I think this mechanic shop is a den of thieves, and I urge others to avoid them at all costs. Few days later, I had to revisit them for a rattling sound came from the area supposedly repaired part, well within their work warranty. His son then had the audacity to suggest a $75 diagnosis fee, with no acknowledgment of their own error. Scammers…read more110% Caught red handed several times for one friggin job, which they had to redo because of their installation, so instead they called Monroe and said they gave them bad parts and got new ones. That's Monroe's loss because the reason the struts were no good was because they left the giant stickers across the top of them and they couldn't seat to the car. I drove my sister an hour on the freeway twice with the car like this, steering all unsteady. They even tried to fake it like they fixed the struts and called me begging to get the car which I couldn't, only to call the next morning and found out it wasn't pulled in until then. So he was trying (desperately) to get me to pick up the car, (I'm sure with they had cut the stickers out, because it had never entered the shop yet. They put the struts in the next day when they arrived. Had I picked up my car Mike would have made up a story about me picking up my car I am sure and kept the brand new struts from Monroe, hoping I wouldn't notice in the few days left I had in my warranty that the car was still unstable. There was also a very serious problem with the rear axle which I know they had their hands on to put shocks on but they didn't mention it to me because they Cherry picked their work. This is how I first met Mike at the telegraph location. I have worked on cars at home, I'm aware of how much shops charge, and asked him for a quote. It was so long ago I don't remember specifically it might been a hub, but I recognize an "I don't want to do it" price when I see it. This is the most unprofessional shop, looks pretty shady, and finally pathological liars. I came in for a simple service for my car and to make sure everything is alright. But it turned into a nightmare. I can hear the employees not wanting to work and even telling customers false information, I'm no mechanic but I do a lot of work with service shops and I am a car enthusiast myself. To tell a customer they need to change their fuel pump to be able to get more life out of the oil as well as fixing a thermostat doesn't seem pretty fair. Also telling customers that oil changes may take up to 3 hours to get done? Ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF! They showed her 3 pictures of what they found and said this would affect the overall quality of our ride and to expect knocking, squeaks and bumpiness moving forward. She had them text her the pictures before leaving and we made an appt w our mechanic to get a second opinion. He put our SUV up on his lift and also took pictures to compare against what Jeannottes had given us. Not only was there nothing wrong with our vehicle, but the pictures that Jeannotte's had given us were not even of our vehicle!! ????????? Um what? So Jeannotte created a fake issue with our SUV, provided pictures of a different vehicles issues saying it was ours, said it wasn't something that could be fixed. For what?
