It was time for an oil change so I made an online appointment for first thing in the morning and I got right in. I had the appointment set to get a loaner because most of the time they normally keep my car for a whole day. So once I got checked in, he told me it should be only about a 40 minute wait, so I waited and it really only took about 30 minutes, I was in and out real quick and then I headed right to work. Horrible experience from day 1, I purchased a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus back in May through JD. When coming in to sign the paperwork, the salesman (Corey) only shook my husbands hand, thanked him for for buying it, and told him to stay safe, even though I was the one purchasing the vehicle. 4 days after buying the car, the check engine light came on, I messaged Corey and he asked if I could bring the car in and they would look at it and have it back to me that day- it was a Monday & I was unavailable to take it in and sit there so they said they'd bring someone to get it- they gave me a loner and said they'd probably have it back to me before EOD. I heard nothing once they picked the car up. The next day I reached out to the salesman asking for an update, he said I should have it back that day. I called the shop around 5 asking for an update as I not heard anything and my advisor, Joe - was confused as to why I was calling and why the salesman told him I'd have it back as they have no idea what's wrong with it and it'll be days before they hear from Lincoln. Told me to call Lincoln and talk to them if I wanted to know more. I called Lincoln and opened up a case that day awaiting info. Lincoln Corporate sent me daily texts with updates (even if the update was we don't have any info). After about 2 weeks of having the first loaner I received a call from their very rude shop admin frantically repeating herself that I was over miles and needed to return the car, I was very confused and also in the middle of my work day and stated I was unavailable to return the car in the next two days and they could come swap cars out on Friday before 4, she stated her manager would be mad and kept repeating I was over miles. I was never told there was a limit on miles and I cannot or will not stop my day to accommodate your teams issues. If that was appropriately communicated at the beg, with my multiple attempts at speaking with you all & asking for updates - we could have changed that confusion. So that Friday they called to ask when I would be dropping the car off and I said I was working and couldn't, they then said their computer systems were down because of a tech outage / security breach and that they were sending ppl home so it would be easier if I just dropped the car off, obviously I was not happy and expressed that frustration and she then stated I needed to turn on the news as this isn't their fault. They ended up coming to swap my cars but then again gave me another loaner with mileage restrictions with no explanation. I'm not continuing to play this song and dance with you all with no expectations and conversations so I reached out to Josh the shop manager, Joe my advisor, and Rocio the car driver leaving multiple voicemails and texts asking for a call so review and ensure we were all on the same page. 5 DAYS later I get a text back telling me to 'go ahead and ask my questions' even though I specially asked for a call in all the voicemails and texts I left. This place should be embarrassed for how you treat, communicate, and handle these situations. I have had a horrible interaction with every encounter with someone who is employed with this dealership. I understand you cannot control that I was given a lemon but you can control how you react - my sale was through this dealership all of my interactions were with this dealership. Jack Demmer and all of their employees failed to appropriately handle. What really sealed the deal of their embarrassing customer service was when they asked me if I was purchasing the next car with them and I explained to Corey all of the bad interactions he still said it was all Lincoln's fault and suggested I go sign my paperwork at another dealership. I did end up going to buy a new one actually upgraded two packages - I went with STAR Lincoln in Southfield - where they gave me the Ceramic Coating which I paid 699 for at JD for free and said I can go to any Ford/Lincoln Dealership for free oil changes for the next 3 years- which JD never stated. read more

***UPDATE*** I want to share how this dealership took a "nightmare" and turned it into joy! I came to this dealership upon the heels of leasing a MKS which turned out to be a "lemon" by Michigan law. That MKS, by the way, was leased from another Metro Detroit Lincoln Dealership. I leased a sleek, gorgeous MKZ from this Jack Demmer Lincoln dealer which was white on the interior as well as exterior. The car was beautiful! Three days into driving the car, I noticed that liquid was always on the ground. Come to find out, my new MKZ had a busted radiator. How awful! I was livid and I let everyone at the dealership know that! But JACK DEMMER LINCOLN sprung into action to make this problem car, a beautiful, problem-free car, once again. I sent an email to just about everyone at this dealership the weekend of the Fourth of July expressing my disgust and received an email from the manager of the dealership ON A SATURDAY... that my car would be serviced immediately come Monday morning! They were not joking. Again, this dealership sprung into action! Come Monday, I received a call from Josh Hershey at 7:15 AM! He apologized about me having issues with my new car and said that a crew was on the way to: 1. have my MKZ towed and 2. deliver a loaner car to me, parked in my driveway. All of this happened in the span of 30 min! Talk about making a wrong a complete right! Additional apologies and assurances came from Mr. Chris Conley and Mr. Matt Demmer! In addition to Josh and Racha there to see me off with my fixed, detailed and washed MKZ, Mr. Samer Awazem was also on hand with hugs and additional apologies! Again... going the extra mile... Folks, bad products are within great companies, but what matters is what the company does as soon as they are alerted to a "bad product". In this case, The ENTIRE team at Jack Demmer Lincoln took my frustration and turned it into a customer for life. Because I was ticked off, (no...let's just be real... Unfair sales practice - caution to online and out-of-state buyers. I'm a car guy and I do all my car shopping on the internet, so have become quite familiar with the process. I tried to purchase a car online (from another state) and felt strongly that the process was not handled fairly. Thus, I feel compelled to share this unfortunate situation with all online car shoppers who may experience discrimination based on their home's distance from the dealership. The day before the car went live on the dealership website, I emailed them asking to make a deposit to hold the car. I knew this because I have been searching for this specific vehicle for quite some time, and it only appeared on one third-party website (without pictures); however, it was completely absent on the dealer website. I was skeptical, so I checked CarFax which indicated it was offered for sale at the dealership just one day prior. They called the following morning (9:41am) and told me someone would call me back to take my deposit - actually sounded like things would go smoothly. Getting a call back took longer than expected but I was unconcerned since the vehicle was unpopular and obscure. When they finally called back it was to tell me they decided to sell it to someone else. Allegedly, someone walked into the dealership that same morning and it was immediately sold to them while completely ignoring my online bid from the previous day. I understand cars sell fast, but that's irrelevant, unless someone is careless, irreverent, and grabby. The larger problem is that there does not appear to be an equitable process or operation in place for people who can't easily visit the dealership in person. If I had refused to make the deposit or was unresponsive to calls / text / email, then I would understand it would default to the next bid. Instead, they apparently let someone jump the line which I found both discourteous, unfair, and unprofessional. If I did not live hours away, I would have arrived in person, but this should not be used against me as long as I make serious efforts to complete the purchase (i.e. putting down a deposit). If a dealership is offering and promoting their cars on the internet, then online bids need to be respected and taken seriously (equally valid as in person), unless their behavior does not align with that of a serious buyer. Otherwise, they are discriminating against all buyers who do not conveniently live nearby. I can sympathize with private sellers who do not sell cars for a living due to lack of resource and experience; however, this is completely unacceptable for a luxury car dealership that is supposedly committed to customer service. If such discriminatory practices cannot be changed, then this should be openly disclosed so all online buyers are aware and can adjust their expectations accordingly. read more

I just bought tires from this quicklane. Rebecca Glover helped me. She was very good and went above and beyond to help. She was able to get my price down further when I picked up the car. If other dealerships ran the way this place does, there would be a lot of happy customers. You don't have to bring a Lincoln in, they will service other cars too. I told all my coworkers at Ford to start going to this one instead of the other ones in Dearborn. I even went to a Quicklane in Sterling Heights before this visit. Visited the Quick Lanes here since I needed an oil change, new wiper blades and my brakes checked. When I first arrived I had no clue of where to go. There weren't any signs or arrows directing people to the Quick Lanes Service area. I first pulled into what I believe was the Lincoln service lane and waited patiently for the woman behind the glass to get up and greet me. I told her what I was looking to get done and she told me I needed to go to the Quick Lanes, I asked her where I go for that and she just told me to back out and go to the next service drive. I went to the next service drive and slowly pulled in since I had no idea if I was able to drive in. I think what some dealerships don't understand is not everyone knows exactly what to do when getting their car serviced. I pulled in and was greeted by a very friendly man named Anthony. He walked me through everything that was going to happen and asked me to wait inside. They were very honest in telling me that I didn't need brakes, they could have easy lied and told me that I did. I needed up getting three new wiper blades and an old change in under an hour. I was expecting it to take much longer. Overall I am very impressed with the Quick Lanes service department, they are working hard back there are deserve the recognition! read more

Yaya, I the service department has made me a customer for life! I had an issue with a tire on the way to the train station next door. I parked the car and filed out the drop box form ar 6:15 Sunday morning. By 8:15 Monday I received a call from him and he told me what was wrong, bent rim, and thinks it might be fixable and his guy was looking at it. Called later and said it was fixable and should be ready the next day. Told him I was out of town but would be back on Thursday. I then inquired about the new cell phone chip my car needed and he said no problem he would check for availability but should only take a day or two and told me how much it cost. Well, was able to get chip and it was installed before I got back this afternoon. Another dealer told me it would take months and out me on a waiting list. Also, the real biggie... he was able to determine that a spare tire was available for my car, despite since 2017 i was told one wasn't available for my 2017 MKZ Hybrid. He said that it is available, but they have to order it a different way and show is for a regular MKZ. Was also able to get a tire/ wheel warranty. This dealer kept me informed along the way. When I got the car back with an oil change, air filter change, car washed and even cleaned my for mats! The service was so good I almost cried, seriously. Previous experiences with Lincoln dealers in SE Michigan and Chicago have left me tearful and frustrated. Highly recommend Demmer and Yaya! He should teach a course in customer service. read more

If I had it to all over again, I would not have even come to this dealership. I had a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis that I had purchased from Stu Evans Lincoln in Garden City and I loved it. Sadly while driving through Southfield, another driver mistook the side of my car as an on ramp and totaled it (well not actually totaled since these cars are absolute tanks but it was more than the insurance wanted to cover). I had a lousy job with a lousy boss and I needed another car. Being partial to the Crown Vic and Grand Marquis, I searched for a Ford dealer who had some. Stu Evans had become Metropolitan and Metropolitan had become out of business so I tried Bill Brown in Livonia. They were very nice but couldn't find any of the big grampa cars I was looking for. Next I tried Jack Demmer in Dearborn and they had at least 10 on the lot. I scheduled a test drive and tried a few out. I pushed all the buttons and flicked all the switches, mashed on the gas and checked the brakes. Once I found one that I liked the real fun began... First, the salesman tried to get me to buy it on the spot which I refused since I like to discuss large purchases with my wife beforehand. Second, the price kept changing. Every time he calculated the price it was slightly different. I left that night and decided to try and research the car online (carfax etc) and found a listing online for $1,000 cheaper for that actual car. It was on Demmer.com. Turns out that I could have ended up overpaying since they were offering a cheaper price online than on lot. The next day, I went back to talk terms on the car and I pointed out the different price. They reluctantly matched it but then started changing things in the computer system that raised the payment price back up. When I asked why the price was higher than it should be I was accused of trying to "nickel and dime" them and that I should be happy with the $1,000 discount (it turns out that I was being berated by the used car manager but I didn't realize that until it was too late). I had secured my own loan and had the insurance payout ready (I really needed a car) and we finished the paperwork. I opted for a warranty since the car had nearly 100k miles and wanted to make sure all the little things that popped up stayed little things. My salesperson repeatedly dodged my request to see the warranty paperwork. I really didn't notice how shady everyone was being until afterward. At the moment I was sure that buying from a Lincoln dealership (and with a warranty) would have somewhat of a safety net where even if my salesperson was being a bit sleazy, I'd be safe. I was wrong. They told me that the car would be ready the next day. When I showed up to pick it up (on the way to work) I noticed that the hubcaps were missing. I asked my salesman where they were and he looked blankly at me and shrugged saying "oh we'll get you some". I also noticed as I was pulling out that there were no floormats (like there were on the test drive). I was late for work so I called the dealership (handsfree mind you) and let them know that I'd like my floor mats as well. I also noticed that the cruise control and rear defroster were not responding (like they had on the test drive) and mentioned that as well and this is when it all went down hill. My salesman was apathetic but "smiled and nodded' over the phone and said he'd take care of it. A week later I called and asked if my parts were ready and was told that he'd have something the next week. I asked if they could fix the defroster at the same time and he told me that would be a warranty repair and I would have to pay a $100 deductible. "WHAT?" I said (and I pronounced it in all caps), how can it be a warranty repair when it was broken as I picked up? I'll fill in the rest here later but suffice to say that they were using my car and others for parts while keeping them for sale and every promise to repair my car was a lie and I'm now stuck with a broken car and payments. read more

His condescending attitude nearly cost them the deal. The used car manager was also useless. Only buy a vehicle there if you have to, and get your financing somewhere else. I purchased a 2011 MKT. Was told Sync Services was available. It took 7 visits/complaints for them to figure out Sync Services WAS NOT available. On the 8th visit, they discovered the software update that was installed caused the 911 assist and my cell phonebook (latest blackberry bold 9930) to also become inoperable. The worst customer service ever. I drop off my Lincoln Navigator at 8:30 in the morning to check the suspension. At 2:30 pm I called to find out the status of my vehicle. I was told the mechanic had not looked at it yet, but would call me when he does. Now it is 4:30 and no phone call. So I called again to check on my car. I was told the mechanic had a lot of cars before mine and would not get to it until Monday. You had my car for 8 hours and you couldn't call to tell me the mechanic couldn't get to it until Monday. So now I'm mad and said I coming to get my car and hung up the phone. Then I realize I needed a ride. Call back at 4:49 to requesting car service and was told, "She was not here right now, but if you give me your name and number I'll have her call you when she get back". I walked to the dealership to pick up my car. The funny thing is, Ted gave me the keys and said, "We had it washed for you". Seriously, do you think I care about a car wash.... Used car purchase experience was great! Ron Z. did a great job helping my wife decide on a Navigator and for me to decide on the price. The purchase decision took a couple weeks, lead by my wife and I, as Ron helped my wife discover the benefits of owning a particular red Navigator and answering all of her questions and concerns fairly quickly. Also, as he and I grappled with the price and various financing options. Always with a demeanor that demonstrated ease, guidance, patience, and consideration for what would work best for us without any pressure for what might work best for himself. He, and the Manager (including the maintenance manager that fixed a couple minor things and demonstrated a lot of patience in showing her how some options operated a couple different times) exceeded our expectations for the Navigator, the pricing, and the financing (actually beat our own credit union's rate with one they offered!) and an overall used car buying experience. Looking forward to buying one for myself from Ron after we get a "few" of the Navigator payments behind us. Believe me, this review is for real. I live in Canton and we have only bought used cars for the last 18 years. And, as a result have come to "expect" a certain level of frustration and disappointment with used car sales experiences. That did not happen here! And, I have no reason to expect them in the future. Brad, our son, will be driving his own car November 2016 and is already working with Ron for used car options (along with payment plans -- and NOT the "Bank of Mom & Dad").
