Mike, Larry and Sandy are the absolute best!!! I almost hate to leave a review because it may make their place busier than it is now! :). The only drawback is it may take awhile to get your vehicle serviced because they are in so much demand. I have never met a more honest group of mechanics in my life! I have never seen an advertisement for their shop because word of mouth testimonials are all they need to make their shop one of the busiest around! Keep up the fantastic work! read more

Excellent, honest and fast service. I would definitely recommend them. They were recommended to me and took checked out my vehicle the same day. read more

Old school mechanics that aren't trying to upcharge you and take your money. Don't live near them anymore but usually I wouldn't even compare prices because I knew they were being fair and the quality of work was always very good. read more

Had my vehicle for 2 months and didn't fix the issue. Pretty sure they didn't do anything to figure it out. Called for weeks on end with no answer. Do not do business with this place. BEWARE! I also have now discovered items missing from inside my vehicle. read more

I had an accident in June and took my car to Taylor Collision. After having my car for months they returned it to me not running. I took it to another shop who after a week of having my car refused to work with my insurance knowing I could not afford the repairs on my own. I was referred to Roger's and it was the best thing that could have happened. Mike takes pride in his business and work. He knew my situation being stuck without a car and waiting on the insurance to give me another rental. He looked at my car the same day I took it there, went through the hassle of getting the diagnostics, pictures and estimate to my insurance and had everything resolved with the insurance company ridiculously fast. I would recommend them a million times overs. They took a really crappy situation and made things so much easier. The peace of mind is priceless. read more

If I could I would rate this business a zero star I would. This automotive place has so many cars in this parking lot you cannot even park in it. That is just to begin, I drove a half an hour with my friend paying for both of our gas just to drop off my car. For them to tell me they can't store in the lot because there are too many vehicles and to come back the following Monday. And so I took my 17 YO daughter out there driving a half an hour during a snowstorm and showed up when he said and he told me that his son is three days behind and that I should come back in three days. That was enough for me, I was lied to, it was a waste of time, money, and gas. I'm glad I took it somewhere else!! Never dealing with these people again. So unprofessional!!! read more

The reason someone gave it a 1 star is because there was a 3 day wait and no place to park. There's a good reason for that. Over the last 30+ years these guys have been straight forward with their customers. The owner, Larry, has told me when it was time to bail on a car, meaning he didn't get business from me when he could have kept taking my money and stringing me along. They have built a loyal customer base by being like that - so the lot is always full, so there is always a wait. I'd rather Uber it for an extra 3 days than end up paying hundreds or thousands more at a place that is only there to take my money. Good things come to those who wait. read more

If there's one thing that any car owner dreads during the time they own a vehicle is when the manufacturers warranty runs out and your car is essentially a ticking money-sucking-time bomb, regardless of how good of care you take of your vehicle. Well, after my vehicle rolled 125K the inevitable happened and it was in need of diagnosis and repair. Thinking I could get an expert diagnosis and quick turn-around I took my vehicle to my local Chevy dealership...big mistake. Not only did it take the better part of a day to diagnose the issue, they wanted essentially more money than my car was worth. I opted to not have them work on my car and had to eat the $100 diagnostic fee. Upon talking to my dad about my car issues, he told me to go to Roger's Auto as he had worked with the owner in the past. All I have to say about this piece of advice from my father is that it was probably one of the best pieces of advice he's ever given me. Took my car to Roger's Auto around 8am that morning w/ the diagnostic report from the Chevy Dealer and got a phone call around 11am from Mike at the shop with his own findings and other things he didn't agree with on the dealer's auto report. Long story short, Roger's saved me about 60% of what the Chevy dealer wanted and had my car back to me the same day. If you live near the Dearborn Heights area, definitely give Roger's Auto a try the next time you're in need of some kind of auto repair...your car and wallet will thank you later. read more

I've had so many bad experiences with repair shops, I wish I had discovered Rogers sooner. There were so many opportunities for Rogers to try to rip us off, but they didn't at all and were totally honest and kind all the way through our car ordeal (see my Victory Lane review). They actually made suggestions to help us save money! They also did a great job fixing my husband's shortly after my car was sent there, and they did a great job with a very short turnaround time. You can't find many shops like that anymore. They've definitely earned themselves customers for life. I would recommend anyone to go to Rogers for your car repair needs. read more

I have been using Rogers for as long as it has existed, about forty years! That says a lot in itself. They stand behind their work and if it isn't right, they will make it right. read more

God bless this team! They addressed my issues and had me in my way in the same day. Very reputable. I would recommend them to anyone!

They were recommended to me by the nearby Firestone store because I suspected my pickup needed a heater core replacement. It turned out it was just the thermostat, and the gentleman from Rogers explained exactly what the problem was and the cost. They had the work done in two days and it ended up costing even less than the initial quote. Excellent job! When you walk in their office/garage you can tell this place is one of those top-notch garages that is no-frills, get-it-done places that are increasingly hard to find. Friendly guys, too. Been in business for decades and you can see why. read more

2005 Focus needed electrical work. My cousin who is a mechanic recommended these guys, especially for electrical issues. They're busy. (a good sign) I scheduled an appointment for a couple of days out. Was diagnosed promptly and repaired well, reasonable price all done on the same day as the appointment. I worked with Mike who was polite and seems to be a real good guy. Very happy,. read more

I have been taking my cars to Larry at Rogers Automotive for several years now. They are always very curtious, prompt and honest. The first time I went there my car needed front suspension work done to it. Larry diagnosed the repair and said that the repair was still covered under the Manufacturers warranty. He could have easily done the work and charged me top dollar and I would have not been the wiser. Ever since then I have taken my cars to Roger's Automotive. You will be hard pressed to find a better more honest repair shop anywhere. I certainly would recommend Roger's Automotive to anyone, in fact I have and several of my co-workers have taken thier cars to Larry. read more

I have a 2006 fusion with 150000 miles. Rogers Automotive has been great with telling me what I need to do to keep my vehicle in good condition. They replaced cooling hoses for me, and have identified a few issues to watch out for. Great service, and a fair price. I will bring them as much business as possible!!! read more
