Needed a brake job done fast and reliable. Midas first came to mind. I thought I needed all 4 wheels when I only needed the back two. Service was fast , less than four hours. Been working well ever since. read more

They did a good job on our car and didn't try to "up sell" us on other services. Car was ready when promised

A portion of my wife's tailpipe fell off on her way to work today. She drove to Southgate Ford where we purchased the Escape. $97 for the tech to tell her she needed a new exhaust system (middle and rear sections) = $1267. She took it to Southgate Midas instead for their estimate. No diagnostic fee and out the door for $208, no need for a new exhaust system. Tailpipe replaced SAME DAY at Southgate Midas (thank you Midas for honest service for a fair price). Also, they didn't have parts in stock but called and got them and vehicle was ready by the end of the day. This is not a one time GREAT JOB AT AN HONEST PRICE. 20 years ago when a Honda dealer told my wife (then fiancé) that she needed $850 in brake work, Tom put it up on the lift at Southgate Midas and showed me no leaks in the brake line and a lot of life left on the brakes- telling me that he wouldn't recommend any work at the time. Every experience over the past 20 years has been similar. Highly recommended but more importantly highly trusted. read more

I had an estimate from the dealer stating that I needed an entire new exhaust with a cost of $1700.00. I went to see Jeff at Midas who talked me off the ledge! He took pride in the fact that he was sure that wasn't the case. I loved his passion, knowledge and confidence in his profession. The repair was just one part and was Just over $200 out the door. Not to mention, they had it done in under a day. I would highly recommend this store. Jeff- YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! thank you, thank you, thank you read more

I have taken my car here for years. They are upfront and honest. One time I thought for sure I needed a major brake job done, and they could have sold it to me and I would not have questioned it, but they evaluated and fixed the problem for alot less money that I expected to pay. I trust this shop and that is the highest compliement I can think of. read more

I had a slow leak in my tire, they found the leak and plugged it for FREE!! Since when does anybody do anything for free! Great place! Thanks guys! read more

A place that shows care for it's customers. Their prices are reasonable and their work is on par with the best local shops ... but this Midas is more than that ... They work *with* the customer. They do careful inspections and explain all the options. They talk to you intelligently (Jared in particular does a great job). They are willing to go the "cost saving" route when a customer needs it and will work with the customer on "one-off" solutions when requested . But more than just these qualities, what you also notice is an attention to detail throughout the shop. Padded leather chairs in the waiting area. Free Wi-Fi. The coffee area always is well stocked with hot coffee, flavored creamers, a couple jars of candy to chew on, and often some free bottled waters. The magazine rack is packed with an unusually large assortment of magazines and the shop is clean and well maintained. Like I say; attention to detail. Things done right - and customer friendly. A place I would feel comfortable sending my wife to alone. Definitely a great local "go-to" resource for car repairs. read more

Asked what it would cost for headlight repair. They said it was the same price you paid before. Guess they didn't want my business! I went to belle tire instead..... read more

This is probably one of the best shops in town. I did some research on how much to expect to pay for the wheel bearing I needed replaced, and these guys beat the lowest estimate I found. They were friendly, professional, honest, and did great work on my car. It's not always easy to find a good mechanic, so I will definitely stick with these guys. read more
