Steven and his crew were exact, efficient, and determined to get it right. He even had to come back a second time to make further evaluations and in Charleston where the contractors are rarely the first to initiate a call back - I found the follow up with Best was exemplary. Truly the BEST out there. Would recommend to anyone searching for a minor or a major electrical solution.

As with the first visit, Steve was very personable and walked me through the steps he was taking to determine and fix the problem - which he did in an expert way. As I noted before, he is not only courteous, but a true professional. I will not ever call anyone else for anything electrical I need. Thank you, Steve!

I learned after moving here that men in the construction industry in this area typically don't respect women enough to speak to them directly or answer questions so I typically communicate everything through my husband. I can't say enough about how respectful and helpful George and his team are which is really just the icing on the cake because they took my porch from haunted house material to selling sunset. Will be using them for every project they take on moving forward. House will be power washed soon to match the beauty of the porch.

Dependable, honest, competent and nice! Good old-fashion service, the way it should be!…read more The Fixit Guy responded to my job request in a reasonable time frame. He gave a reasonable quote for the work to be done: putting a new mailbox on a post). He agreed to come the NEXT day! He arrived on time! He efficiently and professionally completed the job! He charged very fairly based on his quote! He even listened to me with respect and answered my questions! This might not seem like much, but I have contractors not show up at all, come hours late, bump-up the charge after the work was done, (without a reason), not listen to my expectations or request and do it "their way ", bungle the job, and be generally rude, as they are "the boss." So, it was wonderful to have The Fixit Guy do what I requested the "right way" in a pleasant manner for a fair price. Next time I need a small home repair, guess who I am going to call!

Worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Our generator is only three years…read moreold, but has needed three modules replaced. Last year the first one went out and was replaced at no charge to us by Rich A from Automated Living Solutions, as it was covered under our warranty with Canter Power Solutions. Early this year, two more needed to be replaced, yet when Rich did the exact same thing he had done a few months prior for the first module) he let us know there was a $660 bill and that it was not covered under warranty. We were confused, but giving him the benefit of the doubt, paid the bill. (We had the contract transferred to our names upon the purchase of our home about a year ago, and so are not particularly familiar with it having not been the ones that signed it.) Rich asked that the check be made out to his name rather than his business which also made me uncomfortable. We reached out to Canter for clarification on why this was not covered, and received multiple emails from Shelley Taylor (see a couple attached) letting us know that the charge was in error, the parts and labor were covered under warranty, and instructing Rich, the contractor, to refund the cost to us. (Interesting to note that the one positive review for this business is from Rich himself.) Long story short, they are now refusing to pay saying that it actually isn't covered by warranty. It has been over a month and I am still fighting with upper management at Canter to try and come to a resolution. I am beyond shocked at the experience I have had and would never ever recommend Automated Living Solutions.
