I called Made In The Shade and several other businesses to get a quote on plantation shutters. They…read morecalled me back almost immediately and we made a date. I was surprised that only one other person returned my call at all! Business must be good! Scott came and measured and got back to us quickly with a quote. I didn't care for the other business as they kept telling me I would have to do an outside mount ( this is a new house) and that is exactly what I DIDN'T want. So we went with MITS! So glad we did. The installers were great and tidy. One of the fellas said he had shoe covers, but did he have to wear them? My look pretty much answered that question and the installation went great. Scott returned to check on things and give advice where needed. An installer returned the next day for final adjustments and they really look fantastic. I need to thank my fellow yelper Sean F as it was his review that sold me on this company. We all know shutters aren't inexpensive, but I know that I chose the best company to get the job done properly.

They have great, upbeat personalities and they really take pride in their work. To further support that, they have great communication and total transparency. I received an itemized estimate, with no surprises. There were also plenty of followup emails that kept me in the loop. So there was no doubt I my mind that I was in good hands. I really like that for the few times I contacted them with questions, they either picked up the phone right away or emailed me within an hour or two. You definitely don't get that type of response with larger businesses like Lowes, Budget Blinds, etc. As for the installation, the technician was very nice and super quick. I think the blinds were installed in about two hours! All in all, I'm very pleased with the final product and I highly recommend Made In The Shade!

Compared with other closet companies we looked into - this company was efficient in making the plans (no long PowerPoints to sit through like other companies), had fair pricing and got the job done well on a fairly quick timeline. The actual install of the closet only took one day. The end result was exactly what we were hopeful for and at a price point we were happy with. It was reassuring to be able to communicate with someone locally and visit their showroom throughout the process.

We had a wonderful experience working with Lauren Allen at Carpet-Baggers. We were looking for…read morecarpet to make into an area rug and had a budget in mind. Lauren showed us several options we liked, and when those were more than we wanted to spend, we asked about remnants. She gladly took us to the warehouse, where we found the perfect carpet within minutes. We placed an order to have it cut to size and bound. After we got home, we realized we needed a little extra length. We contacted Lauren, and she took care of the change without any fuss. When we returned a couple of weeks later, the rug was rolled up and ready to load, along with the extra carpet pieces we can use for runners or smaller rugs later. Lauren was helpful and pleasant throughout the entire process. We especially appreciated that there was never any pressure to buy. It was a breath of fresh air, and we'll gladly return to Carpet-Baggers for our future rug and carpet needs. Thank you, Lauren--keep up the great work!

We received a 100+ page report that was incredibly thorough, detailed, and eye-opening. He caught things our original inspector completely missed, and we were blown away by the level of insight and professionalism.
