The service call was on a Sunday, so I certainly understand the premium charge. But I was essentially charged $500 for labor to unplug and plug in a new thermostat (a $200 part). No new wiring, just plug and play. The tech did check the furnace and air conditioner, but my total bill was $700. Again, I understand the Sunday premium charge, but a $500 labor charge is way too extreme. I'm rating them a 3, only because the tech was very helpful, but I would have rated them much lower because of an obvious price gouging practice that this company uses, which was extremely disappointing. They said our cans were bad. Turns out they put the lightbulbs in so tight that it pushed the tab that signals light to come on.
