Apparently, Vivint is only interested in getting homeowners to sign up. If you have a problem (and eventually you will), they don't show up. Last July, we were out of town when a severe storm knocked our doorbell and outdoor cameras offline. They are still offline. When I returned home, I followed the reset procedures 3 times without success. Next, I chatted with their AI chatbot, which seemed reluctant to switch me over to a human tech. We troubleshot for over an hour and still couldn't fix the problem. I requested a home visit then. But no one was dispatched. I sent an email to customer service on Sep 20, 2026, requesting a home visit. As of this writing, they have not responded. Don't just take my word for it; research the company's history on customer service before signing up with this company. And save your money. You can do better.
