The first 30 minutes of my massage were her guiding some sort of yoga nidra exercise with no actual massaging. I had to ask her when the massage would actually start. She seemed to have a huge ego about the request and continued her guided exercise. Once she did start "massaging" me, it was just her placing her hands on my body very lightly and doing static holds on trigger points. I explained to her I would Like more muscle stimulation in the form of a faster deeper massage but she didn't listen to my requests and kept doing the things she was doing that I did not ask for. She didn't pay attention tho the specific areas that I came in to address and spent most of the time on my arms and legs. She talked the majority of the massage and kept instructing me to take deep breaths. I do not come in to this for a therapy session which is what it felt like. The table was cold and so was the room. I had to ask her to turn the heat on the table mid session because I was freezing and her hands were freezing. She did not seem to have any knowledge of anatomy, massage, or draping. After the session was over she sat me down and wanted to go over her "findings" and it felt really uncomfortable having someone tell me all the areas in my body she noticed I was tight but not actually using the time I paid for to resolve any of those issues. I did not book a trigger point massage, a reiki session, or a therapy session. I mentioned to her multiple times I was not wanting the type of "massage" she gave me and she said that "energetically we may not be a good fit" - in my option this is such a rude thing to say to someone who was very clear about the massage I wanted to receive and requested it multiple times only to be completely ignored - probably because this person is not educated enough or capable of doing actual massage. This practitioner is borderline harmful and should not be practicing any healing modality. I felt disgusting after leaving her session. I felt completely ignored and judged. I debated weather or not I should leave this review but after experiencing this I wanted other people to know the potential harms of booking with this practitioner. Please remove her from "therapeutic table massage" because she didn't actually massage me and this is really misleading for customers.

The front office staff was very sweet and helpful. I only waited maybe 10 minutes to be taken in the back by a very kind nurse. And, only waited about another 5-10 minutes before Dr. Caulfield actually came into examine me. She was very thorough, asked lots of questions, talked about my options, and explained why she was choosing to take a certain course of action. She has a very friendly personality and is extremely knowledgeable. I felt like I was in great hands and really couldn't have been more pleased with a doctor's visit. I don't have any kids, but if I did, I would absolutely be taking them to Dr. Caulfield and staff. They are a great practice and I am grateful to have found them!

I've had a number of complicated/chronic/mystery health issues that have been ongoing, so there is often much to discuss and try to figure out. But Dr. Annis never makes me feel rushed. Also, it is very refreshing to have a physician that does not seem to work from default assumptions about my lifestyle. Finally, she is pragmatic and frank in her advice. She will tell you when you really must check something out further or treat it, but she will also tell you when you can most likely live with something with no ill effects. In an age when it seems many doctors want to pathologize and treat ANYTHING, this increases my trust in Dr. Annis greatly.

When I arrived - there was no one at the front desk for more minutes than I could count because I was in so much pain and still in shock. I chose urgent care over ER because of the cost and because I had used urgent care facilities before with no issues. A wide-eyed girl finally came to the front to help and after waiting, I was shown to a room where it took forever for the provider to arrive. That's fine - I know - waiting is part of the deal, however, it was clear she wasn't listening to me, didn't care, and was trying to get on with her day. She said they would get me an X-ray. After another wait, the wide-eyed girl arrived to take me to x-ray where she - now read this part very carefully - She flipped through an instruction book to determine what kind of x-ray to give me. She even seemed to confer with me, as if I had the slightest idea what she should do. THE X-RAY TECH DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO X-RAY. After taking most likely the worst images of a broken foot one could ever imagine, I was sent back to the room (walking by the way - no wheelchair - nothing offered) where I waited for the provider to come back and tell me that I had a VERY BADLY SPRAINED FOOT. Now I'm not a medical expert at all - but my mother is a nurse and I just knew that couldn't be all that was going on. This provider ordered me a surgical shoe - which I paid for - and told me to 'baby it' then sent me on my way with crutches (also paid for but that part doesn't rankle me as much). I started driving away, then drove back because I could tell just sitting in my car that this was not a sprained foot. The provider met me outside and told me it was, that she had looked at the x-ray and that's all she saw but the radiologist would contact me to confirm it later. I went home, tried the shoe, the foot was so clearly broken. I went back down to the car and got to Duke Urgent Care where they confirmed it was BROKEN. When they showed me the x-ray, I kid you not, A CHILD COULD HAVE SEEN IT WAS BROKEN. I child who had never seen an x-ray before would have noticed the line in the bone and at least been curious enough to ask 'what's that?'. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. They will waste your money, put you at further risk, and charge you for things you do not need.

I had Alfa Gal from a tick bite and a secondary problem that my husband and I had found was seemed to be from sulfites found in many foods with preservatives. My son called me and suggested I try and alternative to get help with the Alfa Gal. He had spoken to his minister who also had had Alfa Gal and discovered there was a form of acupuncture that could help.
