In 90 degree heat, my lawnmower hit the gas line to the regulator feeding propane to my hot water…read moreheater at 7 pm (copper line broken, smelled and heard gas leak). I turned off the propane at the tank and called AmeriGas. They dispatched their on-call guy from Franklin Tn (about 68 miles from my home) and he arrived at 10:30 PM. Did he repair the broken gas line? NO! At the tank he disconnected the gas lines to my water heater and standby generater, "locked it out" and left at 11 pm without giving me a repair estimate. He just said call again in the morning. Called in the morning and was told that the "real" repair guy would be out in the morning a week later (i.e. 3 July). Imagine the smell after mowing the lawn in 90 degree heat and then not having a hot shower for a week. This is what happens when a big company buys out local propane companies (my old one was only 2 miles away from my home). You call for service and have to drill down a computerized menu tree before talking to a real person that is not local and they have to find a repair tech "in your region". The first person I talked to was in California and the last "customer advocate" I spoke to was based in Nirobe Kenya.

A balance was still due, but I have been making consecutive payments. I have a payment arrangement in which this company is in breach of! I absolutely do not recommend this company and will be seeking council pertaining to this matter. I will also reach out to the city council and city mayor as well as any news broadcasts stations that will observe and air this to show people of little to no education, that they in fact still have rights!! It's very unprofessional for a company to take matters into their own hands without legal documentation to do so! Again, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ELECTRICITY/WATER COMPANY!

Apparently government offices think they can do whatever they want and treat people like trash…read more I've been signed up for autopay electronically for over a year now. But I received a Past Due notice with an amount twice my normal monthly billing. I filled out their contact form a couple of weeks ago and never did get contacted back as to what is going on with this. If it's late it's because they didn't deduct it from my bank account. The government needs to get out of businesses and allow competition which creates quality. They have use over a barrel with this monopoly. We either deal with them no matter how bad they are, or we don't get water which is needed for life. Something is very Marxist about that to me. Just wait and see how bad it gets if they ever control your healthcare.
