I cannot begin to express the amazing experience I had with this wonderful company this weekend!…read more I returned from a trip at 1:30am to find my AC was not working during the hottest week of the South Carolina summer! I left a message for Don the next morning and receive a call back within minutes. He asked several questions to try to help me trouble shoot to avoid a service call if it was something as simple as resetting a breaker due to storms while I was gone. Through conversation, he determined he needed to come out. He offered to come out immediately, but through discussion I decided to wait until Monday morning. Don was at my house first thing in the morning. Over the next 1.5 hours or so he tried different things to trouble shoot when all of the tests were showing the issue was my compressor. However, being thorough, he checked, checked again and then double checked. Before coming in to break the news to me he checked one last time! That is when he realized one of the 3 wires (that dictate everything!) deep down in the unit was extremely loose on the bottom end when it should have been extremely difficult to remove from the unit! He removed it and plugged it back in seating it properly. This fixed it!!! Now the wire was reading the correct output! It was not my compressor after all! A wire had just come loose over the years after most likely not being seated correctly at the factory! A big box company would have done the initial checks and within 30 minutes told me I needed a new compressor without double checking other things!! On top of the $100 service call fee, that would have cost between $800-$3000, plus labor!! But Don would not resonate with that answer until he was absolutely positive!! His tenacity and thoroughness saved me so much money and time off work to be there for the repairs! While he was there he made a few other tweaks to my unit to take the stress off of it, which will reduce the likelihood of future repairs! Not only did he take his time and troubleshoot until he was 100% sure of the issue instead of just going with the "likely cause" but he went above and beyond to try to prevent future issues with my unit! Instead of costing me $800-$3000 plus labor for a part I didn't even need, Don fixed the issue and more for $215!! He was so nice, respectful, explained everything in detail and he was respectful of my home! I will be recommending Don to everyone! Thank you Don!
