They later called to reschedule the appt time to Friday morning because their truck broke down. Friday morning we were contacted saying they would be late because of an issue while servicing another customer. By this time, we have decided that this is not a business relationship we want to pursue, so contacted Susan to cancel the appt. She stated they were on their way and would be here soon. About an hour or more later, we received a call from the technician saying they would be able to come in another 50 minutes. We advised him that we had already canceled via Susan. We chose this business because it is in our local area and they have good reviews. Needless to say, we're disappointed.

Tried to charge me a fee for looking at my "100% warrantied" system just to tell me that it wasn't their problem and that my thermostat was broken and it was my problem not theirs. After installing a new thermostat, the system still doesn't work. The techs are lazy and their 24/7 service is a joke (only when it's convenient for them). The only reason they get one star is because I can't give them zero. ***BUYER BEWARE*** crooks that take your money and leave you to fend for yourself. Reporting to bbb 9/29/2019 Captains Log- As I enter the 72nd hour (3rd day) without A/C, I've left the owner of the company (Jerimy Sweet) voicemails and emails regarding his lazy and inept employees and have received no response. I sincerely hope Mr. Sweet is okay and that he is not sick or drifting alone in space without anyone to hear his cries for help. Much like my requests for help with my 2 month old, lemon of an a/c unit, are going unanswered. As I look toward the positive side of things, looking at my floor, it appears that I have lost roughly 7lbs via water-weight. Despite my hardwoods being newly refinished, they are getting the moisturizing they apparently needed (unquoted opinion of Sweet Comfort). I am very thankful that Mr. Sweet was up to date on my needy floors when I was apparently ignoring them (sorry hardwoods). As I reflect on the same tech who repeatedly told me that the issue was MY thermostat that I installed and then recanted his "expert testimony" the next day claiming that the issue is now the blower motor, I fear that I may never feel the Sweet coolness of a air conditioner that blows like like a $2 hooker just before being offed by Jack the Ripper. Please pray for me and my family's survival while we ironically enjoy our Sweat Comfort in lieu of "Sweet" coolness that we crave so much. I have spoken with a friendly lady named Lisa over the phone regarding when my part would be in and was told she'd call me back - that was at 0930 hours of the same day and yet to receive an update. I fear that although I can see the air conditioned island in the distant horizon, my only floatation device (a volleyball named Voit) has a sprung a leak where a rusty piece of fan (presumably from my air handler) nicked the seam just 4 days ago. As I fall back to sleep in my bivouac I have a flashback to my ancestor heros who made sacrifices in Vietnam decades ago and scream out in my sleep "NOT AGAIN"! The install crew, lead by CJ Van Etten arrived on time and got right to work. I did tell CJ how I wanted a neat appearing installation. Of course during the day I had numerous questions, and each one was answered with easy to understand replies. I was very impressed with their attention to details during the install, while always being aware of my property and plants surrounding the generator site. I had to have all the work redone by another company and it cost a lot of money. The county inspectors, Dominion Energy and two master electricians from other companies looked at their work and were shocked at the poor workmanship. They left the outside meter box in an unsafe condition with exposed wires and dangling master on/off switch. They used the wrong wiring and the wrong sized breaker in the inside breaker boxes. They destroyed every surge protector in the house as well as several appliances. They offered to fix some of it, but after seeing the quality of their work, I was not willing to trust them again. They were also way too dismissive of the scope of the problems they had caused; arguing that it wasn't going to require much to fix things. I felt like they focused on the need to avoid costs of repair rather than how to make things right in what was clearly a major screwup by a new employee who was way in over his head on this job. Add to all this, they said they would compensate me for some of the cost of fixing their mess and I never saw a cent. The company may be okay for HVAC work but I sure don't recommend them for electrical work.

What makes this worse is that this is the second attempt to double-bill in a six-month span. As for the service itself, it was so-so, and expensive. The problem was not corrected and another HVAC firm was called in to complete the job.

It was noted on the invoice the technician "Will need to stop back by to verify refrigerant levels and initiate defrost mode" they never did! Honestly I forget all about until I received a call from MACK, I wanted to check my records so I let it go to voice mail. A week later (03/29/2024) Mack called again asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement and when I pointed out that they never returned to complete the previous service call all she said was "That's on us". She made no mention of sending a tech out, only asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement. She repeated "That's on us" several times but never tried to resolve the issue.
