Will picked up my call and asked for details how the AC stopped and what we did for the solutions. Probably while he was asking questions us over the phone, he was already diagnosing what went wrong on our AC and how to fix it . He offered to come first in the following morning and headed straight to the outside box of the AC. He fixed our AC within 30 min. We appreciate Will responded to my call even after the normal business hours and was available to come very quickly and diagnose before seeing the AC. The price (the diagnostic fee) was decent compared to the other AC repair company I called.

Here it is 2 years later and you still haven't completed the job that I already paid you to do! I have , since gone out and found a more reliable HVAC company. As for voice mail messages, the only messages I received were the ones asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement, and I still have them! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original post ... Mack Heating & Cooling installed our system in 2016 and we have always had great service until recently. I paid for the Yearly Service Agreement in 2023. A technician visited on 02/07/2023 and did everything except he was "unable to run heat mode at this time." It was noted on the invoice the technician "Will need to stop back by to verify refrigerant levels and initiate defrost mode" they never did! Honestly I forget all about until I received a call from MACK, I wanted to check my records so I let it go to voice mail. A week later (03/29/2024) Mack called again asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement and when I pointed out that they never returned to complete the previous service call all she said was "That's on us". She made no mention of sending a tech out, only asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement. She repeated "That's on us" several times but never tried to resolve the issue. Invoice Number 13140-1 Edited to reply to response ... Yes you did call and leave voice mail messages. They were to see if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement. No one ever called to schedule the return visit to "verify refrigerant levels and initiate defrost mode" ... and you still haven't completed the service for which I already paid you to do! MACK's reply ... Mack Heating & Cooling, Inc. (Owner) 11 months ago We are very sorry you did not receive the follow visit to check refrigerant levels. We tried to call and left 3 voice mails after the 2nd pm visit in 2023. We always strive to give the best service to our customers.

We have had Krantz as our preventative maintenance service for almost two years now. We had a…read moreBi-annual contract set up. There were multiple times I had to call to have them come out and service as they were behind on our contract, on top of that they never walked staff through regular monthly repair information. I was told on the phone today that filters should be replaced every month, they only service the filters on the time scheduled for a bi-annual check. They do not send a reminder or share best practices for getting this done for us (not the HVAC professionals) who are supposedly just supposed to know how this is done and what is needed of 60 ton units. We pay people for their expertise for a reason. On top of that they wanted a $100 per unit that needed to be looked at (our business has 8). The unit that is currently down is our main unit which they had "checked". They left the belts out of the unit on top of the roof, and kept the motor running after sending a quote via email for just belt repair, which there was no response to due to change in ownership, which they were told after resigning our contract and sharing new ownership contact information. This caused the transformer to blow, which we now have to repair on top of replacing the belts they removed and never once reached out to us asking to confirm this information or if we wanted to be serviced for this project. They left it to deteriorate. The last time we were serviced was 6 months ago meaning we were due for a bi-annual inspection and no one was sent to take care of this. I called another company who came out today and showed me photos of each unit, and the unit at hand that had the issue, which Krantz last touched. They walked me through everything I needed to know and let me know they also do monthly preventative maintenance options if need be. It is a shame that a business who's job is specifically HVAC could be so careless to let this happen and show no form of remorse or concern when the issue was addressed being argumentative on the phone because they sent an email in December (to the wrong ownership). Funny because when we spoke in February to finish off the invoice, Unit 1 was never mentioned, or the repairs they said they sent a quote on. In the two years we have been with them we already spent 20k on repairs. Sad. Anyway look for another business especially if it is for commercial work. Otherwise you will be spending a lot of money in the long run.

my HVAC unit simply stopped working completely. I called who has been my service provider for a…read morevery long time. I actually used my prior to him starting his own and have never had a problem. Mike came out and looked at my unit. We checked to see exactly how old the thing was. It was a a lot of Kareem Arun, but it had been registered at the time it was installed. It was eight years into a 10 year warranty and I told him to fix it. It was the air compressor and the refrigerator coil. Mike said if that was what he wanted him to do what he would do so he was unable at first to obtain a replacement for the air compressor. They wanted him to go to the place that he purchased the unit in the first place and they didn't have one for him to put in. I lived in South Carolina most of my life, but I have not air conditioner in a very long time, I very quickly became extremely unhappy with the fact that I did not have air-conditioning. Mike went out and bought a small unit they put it in while he was still hunting for the replacement parts. It cooled my bedroom down enough so I could sleep in the cats could sleep. My unit has now been fixed had ended up having to factory itself told them that I couldn't find the and that nobody in town meant to one told her her my serial number gave her Mike's name and contact . She actually called Mike when I called him after I got off the phone with her I called Mike to tell her what she said that this is what he needed to do, and while he was talking to me, he got a message from her. He and two of his young man came over. They took out the piece that he had already part four and they started putting that one in while he went to pick up the one that was getting shipped in by now. Have a cool house again like I said been a long time since I've been without air-conditioning I would give Mike a five star review the things that went wrong during that repair not his fault. Mike comes over and checks my unit out twice a year to be sure that everything is working it should be. I cannot think of anything that he could do that would improve his record or his work ethic he has always gone above and beyond. He actually serviced my parents prior to me needing an air-conditioning put in because of the time I hadn't this on I Mike five star review and recommend him to anyone without any hesitation at all.

The technician pulled apart the system, added a very small amount of coolant, but s detemrined it needed to be cleaned. We were given a quote of $375 to clean the system but there was an extra diagnosic charge, which we already paid. When questioned, they would not return calls. After the tech left, the system stopped working completely. After several ignored calls and sending techs out to do the cleaning with addressing the new problem, a tech now found a leak, right where the original tech pulled out components checking the system. The previous tech broke the system and it was out off coolant. After months and months of being ignored from the Columbia office, the resolution desk got involved. They could not get answers from the office for months. All our inquires and theirs were ignored. They finally claimed the left a message giving me a price to fix it. $1500.00. That was a lie. We did not get any call nor a was message left. It is also not their policy to leave quote by phone. The are supposed to email, as they did the $375 cleaning estimate. After a few more months, we finally got a call from the local manager, who said they were waiting on part. When confronted that he had no idea what part was needed, the story changed to needing a new system and they would call me immediately with a great price on a new system. The call NEVER came. After many more calls and conversations with the resolution center the call was escalated to another dept. This new department could not get answers either. After two weeks, it is now October 1st. No calls. I finally reach the new dept who was now given a quote of $11,000. They admitted that was too high. The Columbia office refuses to return calls and address the problem correctly. They ignore their own departments who try to get them to resolve the issue.
