I saw the great reviews here, so brought it in to see what could be done because it seemed obvious that something was just misaligned. Tech came out to inspect my car and was telling me I definitely needed new hinges! I might need a new door! This is going to run a lot of money! That they weren't going to try to investigate a misalignment because they wanted to do things "the right way!" Sure buddy. I thanked him, left and went to the body shop just down the street. Where a tech took a look at the door, determined that the A-pillar on the car door hinge had just gotten bumped out of place, bumped it back into place which fixed the problem, and within 15 seconds sent me on my way. Didn't even charge me because it was such a minor "repair" if you can even call it that. Royal might be good at what they do, I don't know. But they tried to upsell me on a repair that was thousands of dollars for something that wasn't even broken and was a component easily pushed right back into place. So definitely get a second opinion if you go here.

I got quotes on Yelp and read a lot of great reviews about SAP, and honestly, I really wanted to go with them. Richard responded with a more reasonable price than others and suggested a very economical touch-up paint solution since the damage was small. I happily agreed. He showed up on time as scheduled. Because the scratches were tricky and the pearl white color is hard to match, Richard ended up spending much more time than estimated to do the touch-up paint. He also fixed two rock chips on the front hood along the way. The results were almost invisible and at a very fair price. I'm extremely satisfied and plan to call Richard again in the future whenever I accumulate more scratches or rock chips. Now that I know SAP, I'll never be frustrated about small dings and scratches again.
