I think they are out of business. When they did operate, I knew they had a good reputation.

Scratching my head as to why my back pain still exists after a couple of chiropractic visits, I…read moredecided to try acupuncture. It cant' hurt, right? Or can it????? I called and made an appointment and was told my first visit would be 2 hours long. Upon arrival, I filled out various forms and answered lots of health questions before meeting my student acupuncturist. Soon Steve and Lori (Lori was very new and observing) took me to a separate room across the courtyard where the room was divided in two by Japanese type screens. I sat down with Steve as he went over my health profile and he asked very, very in-depth questions. After spending considerable time doing this, I was asked to get up on the table. Steve felt pulses in various spots on my body and had Lori do the same. It's very interesting...they also look at your tongue several times! Finally, they decided on a treatment plan and left me to relax while they went to speak to the supervisor (I assume a licensed acupuncturist) to review the suggested treatment. Ten minutes later they came back and explained everything they'd do doing. Steve was very gentle and managed to hit all the right spots. Once all the needles were inserted, I was left to relax and listen to soothing sounds for about 15 minutes. They came back and took everything out and spent a few more minutes talking. I've since gone back a few more times and on my last visit, Steve added acupressure seeds to my ear. He asked one of the students studying Oriental Medicine to do a consultation and a particular Chinese herb was suggested. So going back to my opening, let me tell you this - it doesn't hurt! Acupuncture can be very beneficial for so many things - not just pain. Give it a try!

If nothing else they learned to spot BS quick. They learned how to ask questions and compare opinions and hear different business sell the same products. Best thing in 2026 is the kids market. I think that is a brilliant idea to encourage young kids to become entrepreneurs. Be careful they will get all your money if you have a heart.

The SAHBA home show is a convention that takes place in Tucson twice a year, once in spring and…read moreonce in fall, featuring products and vendors to help improve your home, patio, or pool. The cost for admission does seem a bit high for something of this nature at $8/person, but there are on-demand coupons printable online for $2 off admission. It seems odd to me that they'd even have a coupon for a convention, why not just make the admission price $6/person? The ballroom and convention floor were packed with vendors and with people, even early in the morning. So a good strategy might be to look over the map online first and highlight what vendors you'd like to see. Some personal highlights from the 2012 Spring show include: -Canyon Pondscapes, a great way to use rainwater harvesting not only for watering your garden but also adding in a water feature (RainXchanage). -The Solar Store, a solar installer that has been in business for 15 years and is very knowledgeable about the product. - EMMCo, HVAC contractors who also specialize in tankless water heaters.
