Four stars because you have to first go through a call center that puts you on hold because they can't answer your question, they call the office to come back to you to put you back on hold to then transfer you to the office and they never even discussed with the office why I'm calling so I have to go through everything all over again. It's beyond frustrating.

Now that I think back to the care that I received from Dr Perscheff I am not surprised as to why she had malpractice claims against her. When I was younger Dr Perscheff used to make fun of my weight and say that I need to stop eating sweets so much. Thanks DR! thats is totally appropriate to say to a 14 yr old kid. No wonder kids have eating issues these days because people like you make them feel bad about they're body image. I was misdiagnosed so many times with things that I didn't have and was given a boat load of antibiotics for it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!

I find it hard to believe that the person who wrote the previous review is telling the truth. Dr. Persheff is not a skinny minny herself but that absolutely does not affect her training and professionalism as a pediatrician. Don't blame the doctor for your problems as you said you are old enough take responsibility for your part and stop looking for someone to blame. IF YOU DONT LIKE WHO YOU ARE OR THE WAY YOU LOOK DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! I highly recommend Dr. Nadia Persheff....

We recently left Healthy Child in Darien because the service had deteriorated significantly. Dr…read more Vogel has grown increasingly unaccomodating and Stamford Health just announced that she is resigning from the practice with very little explanation as to why, which felt suspicious to us. Most of all, the admin staff is poor. The office has a small army of admins who run cover for the doctors. They do not communicate with each other, are disorganized and come off as annoyed when talking to you. Even the most patient families will feel frustration in dealing with the office and should be prepared to follow up vigilantly as they will NOT call you back. The office's apathy and lack of urgency is so severe it borders on dangerous for the kids. One of our kids has an allergy and it was a process to get him the prescription he needed in case he had a reaction. We felt we had no choice but to leave. Good riddance and beware of this pediatric practice.

We've had plenty of first time parent concerns and he's tackled them all super timely and with a way of explaining things that calms us and gives us more confidence every time. And we were amazed with Katie, the Lactation Consultant. she has decades of experience, she CHANGED our world!! we brought in our 5 day old baby and she completely turned me around with her knowledge base. I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person. She and Dr. Stephen are in this with you every step, honestly we couldn't have asked for more caring human beings to help guide us.

Finding one during COVID when your son arrives 7 weeks premature, well, that's a whole new level of crazy. Thank goodness our neighbors highly recommended Dr. Schultheis and his team. We were scheduled to have a virtual meeting with Dr. S on a Monday in April to speak with him and get a quick glimpse of the practice but Junior decided to make his appearance the Friday beforehand. I called the office the very next day - a Saturday - to explain our situation and see what they could do. No problem at all - having no info from us about insurance or any of that Dr. S called me right back and got all the info he needed to be in touch with the NICU during his stay. I got a call back that night as to his prognosis and every single day thereafter while he was there. After his 11 day NICU stay our son was home and in to see Dr. S the very next morning. Despite the COVID madness he was treated like gold from the moment we arrived and has been with every subsequent visit. Never more than a phone call away, Dr. Schultheis, Laura and the rest of the staff have always made themselves available even to answer the silliest of questions we've had, often reminding us that it's never a problem and they don't take "holiday weekends" so we shouldn't feel bad about calling. We are genuinely grateful to have such an amazing staff caring for our little man. Now 15 months old he's doing terrific and we can't thank the ProHealth crew enough for helping us every step of the way.
