I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person. She and Dr. Stephen are in this with you every step, honestly we couldn't have asked for more caring human beings to help guide us.

I called Riverside Pediatrics and they were able to get us an appointment that afternoon. The staff was efficient and courteous. The office utilizes easy to use online tools for scheduling and paperwork. And, they accepted our insurance, which was a big relief because we only started it a few days earlier. Once in the office I hardly had time to sit down before the doctor was attending to us. (Amazing!) As for treatment: Dr. Bansilal's bedside manner was absolutely superb! She was gentle, firm, and professional. In less than a minute my 2-year-old daughter, who has appropriate stranger danger, was totally comfortable with her and was following her instructions. Dr. Bansilal listened attentively and asked lots of questions before forming a diagnosis. She clearly explained to me what she thought was wrong, how she arrived at that conclusion, what we were going to do about it, what to expect, and what to be vigilant against. There are magazines for adults, books and toys for children, and the Kids Netflix is always on for the children in the waiting room. There is plenty of seating while waiting. The women at the front desk are very nice and the check ins are always quick. The pediatricians are great with the kids and are always able to answer any questions on the dot. The professionalism is outstanding. If I were to ever have children, I would trust this location to be my kid's pediatrician.

I love the physicians at Westchester Pediatrics…read more My child has had some fairly serious illnesses and also some learning issues and I feel he has gotten great care and I've gotten great advice at Westchester Pediatrics. They see the child as a whole person and not just a cough or a rash. I have often had to wait (ex a 2pm appointment can often turn into a 3pm appointment or once for me, even turned into a 4pm appointment when a child with an urgent issue came in). If you hate to wait (or have a tight schedule), it might be frustrating. When my child is sick or has an issue - I don't want to feel like I have to go home and look things up on the internet to confirm the pediatrician gave me all the options and was up on the most current guidelines, research etc. I trust Westchester Pediatrics to tell me what I need to know and that's it. For an anxious mom who is a compulsive looker up of things, that's huge. I trust the care - no need to look anything up.

I compare every doctor to Dr Screnci and not one has lived up to her skill set. She is the most intelligent person I have ever met in my life. I truly trust her with my life. I would still go to her if I could. She was good with me through the years where I had a fear of going to a doctor and still continued to be into my teenage years where my questions were endless. I owe getting over my fear of doctors to her and the staff. She truly got it right every time I never doubted her expertise. Every doctor appointment I have been to since I have left with frustration and confusion. She always has such patience even after working all day and seeing a boatload of patients, she still took the time to answer my questions that were insignificant to other patients. When I was younger I used to say that she should be president :). She definitely has all the strong qualities to do so in my eyes. I also have loved every other doctor she has brought on to the practice. It amazes me, its as if she finds the most qualified doctors out there or maybe they find her. I hope that when I have children one day that I can either take them to someone who is at least half the person Dr Screnci was for me, I know it will be hard to find, I have been searching for years.
