Placed an order to go. Heavier set guy behind the counter was working by himself coughing and handling the register, credit cards, pens, etc. without washing his hands or using gloves before handling food. He also had long dirty nails. If you decide to order from here I would watch how they're handling your food. read more

This place is so ridiculously underrated. We moved to the area about 6 months ago and came off a recommendation from our community facebook group. Have probably been a dozen times now. I'm a basic b when it comes to pizza so always order the pepperoni (what can I say, it's my fav) to go, but these guys are consistent in what they make, always ready within 15-20 mins, and their pizza is freaking delicious. Like top 3 pepperonis I've ever had, and last night was probably THE best pizza I've ever had in my life. That's saying a lot considering Nashville had Joey's house of pizza until they closed a few years back. The place is a little hole in the wall in an old kinda run down strip mall but I don't care at all, it's not a place I'm planning on dining in at. Show them some love if you haven't already. read more

First and foremost, own up to your mistakes, don't blame door dash because you can't read an order. Second the owner/ manager needs some education in customer service, and again how to own his business' mistakes. I will NEVER order from here again, and I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to eat here either. Hope to see you out of business soon. read more

Ordered Philly steak pizza today. One of my favorite pizza places.. ordered with extra sauce, no sauce at all.. one little piece of steak in each slice as well as onions and mushrooms. Did they change management or cook? I called the restaurant to complain.. sorry you didn't like our pizza and hung up on me before I finished the conversation. Customer service horrible.. I have been a regular customer for years while I worked in SCC .. too bad I will never order again.. so disappointed..I spent $20$ for a 14".. Not worth it! read more

Long time loyal customer! Not anymore. Many months now of lack of service. won't answer phone, On hold for way way way too long. Don't want customers $ keep not answering the phone. Not sure what happened but places gotta learn the wallet is closed when you can't do the bare minimum. read more

Great pizza, local home made with fresh ingredients. Super find we have made it our Friday night pizza tradition.

Pizza was not good thin crust chewy lake of toppings decent sandwich I had meatball had better

The food is fine. I've been going for years. Joe is fantastic . The owner, David, is a clown. I've slowed down my orders and moved to half mile down west. I don't want them to go out of business, I just won't order from there when I'm having a party. Sell David. You're the reason you cycle through so many customer facing employees. read more

During this stressful time of post hurricane Milton, these awesome people were one of the a few places open that weren't trying to price gouge. We got four pizzas and every single slice was amazing. Definitely recommend going here in the future. read more

Pizza wasn't that good. I usually save my leftovers for the next day but it wasn't even good enough for that. I expected something that might have resembled the pics on line but this wasn't even close. It was lacking in toppings and they forgot my jalapeños and it was over done. read more

Great Pizza and Quick service. The employees are always friendly. They have a great menu and selection.

I never received my food that I ordered and management was very rude and and unhelpful.

So, I do not live around here but my dad and stepmom do and we always look for good pizza that we can pick up and take home as they are not "going out type of people" found this gem right here on yelp! Highly recommend! We did the thin crust meat lovers and Margherita and both were fantastic!! In addition the staff had great personalities. This is a must do!! read more

So far, this is the best little pizza joint I've ground in the Ruskin area. They really don't have an area to eat in the store, but carry out and deliver. The subs don't hit home, but the pizza has always been great! read more

Way too expensive. Speed of delivery was great. Pizza was ok. Wings were good. 31 bucks for medium pie and 8 wings. I was lazy and needed delivery. My fault I guess. read more

Limited cheese. Not a good value for the money Only put on limited places. I've had better frozen pizzas!

Hmm, pizza with an attitude. The older lady look at me, like what? I politely said, "I would like order a pizza". She looked directly at me, then move to her ordered screen and literally ignored me. The younger lady, eventually came up and asked I had been helped. I told again that I would like to order since it was my fist time here. She took my order .. we will see in 20-25 minutes if it is worth the attitude. I can only assume, she's turned that I have a mask on. All staff has no mask. I am only aware this while I waiting mask up. read more

This place is not very good. Ordered food for the first time a few weeks ago and was appalled. chicken was so undercooked it was still bleeding!! And the fried mushrooms were totally tasteless. I would not order wings. Maybe their pizza is good, but I will never know....... read more

This is great pizza. We ordered the combination and it was great. Hot and tasty pizza is what everybody wants. The delivery was fast and I enjoyed more pizza than I needed to eat. Great job guys read more

Ordered a chicken parm sub and a large pep pizza. The sub was huge!!! Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't breaded and there was little sauce, leaving me with deliciously toasted bread, un-breaded chicken, and cheese. The pepperoni on the pizza was great, curled up, and covered the pizza. The crust was thin, but very well seasoned. Pizza seems a little small for a large, but the taste made up for it. Will def try again read more

Terrific. Prompt phone ordering, on time delivery and delicious pizza. However...ordered wings. Terrible! Very tough and dry. So far the best cheese I've found. Most use crappy part skim. The crust and sauce was okay. I will be going here until I find a better pizza! Pizza is lacking for sure in the Ruskin area! read more

Decent pizza shop with pretty quick delivery. We have ordered a few pies here and all have arrived in about 30 to 45 minutes. This was during the week and during off peak eating times. The driver's have been friendly and the pizza and sides arrived hot and ready to eat. The taste was not the best out there, but was better than frozen, do it yourself pizzas. The price was about on par for what you get. Not overly high priced, so I guess I would say you get what you pay for here. There are better pizzas, but at a higher cost. And there are certain many other pizza places that are not as good, at lower or nearly the same price. So overall this is an average place, average prices, and average taste, in a good way, ha. read more

Decent pizza. Have only ordered for pick up, not delivery. Pizza was made to my order even with some special requests. Was ready at the time promised. They have gluten free crust available. Prices will not break the bank. The bbq chicken pizza is my favorite Kitchen seems a little chaotic but not as if I'm expecting a Michelin star experience from my pizza place Will definitely order again from here read more

Very good food, fast delivery and super nice people. We have had their pizza, wings and calzones.

My first time ordering and they were an EPIC FAIL! Ordered at 5:05pm, with a 45 minute wait. called in at 6:16, oh sorry its out for delivery, 10 or 15 minutes. 7:14, sorry your order is lost. We can cancel order and give you a free pizza now. REALLY???!!!! you couldn't deliver the first time, why would I wait another two hours for you to tell me something went wrong??? I'm so aggravated I'd like to give ZERO Stars. read more

Loved this little spot. As advertised the sauce is super fresh crust hand made and the pie is just baked to perfection. We are from up north and eat some of the best pie you can eat but south shore pizza is no joke. We will be back again next week! read more

South Shore Pizza has been tasting way-better since mid 2018. There aren't many pizza choices here in Sun City Center. All the franchises serve tasteless cardboard. I'm very-very disappointed in Pizza Hut here. PH management clearly doesn't give a turd. South Shore has a great opportunity to kick-butt in our area. Keep up your standards SSP and we'll keep ordering. read more

There are limited delivery options in my area. Maybe Pizza Hut, Domino's and Hungry Howies are the other two. The pizza isn't inexpensive, so these aren't Little Caesar's prices. I ended up getting the "Family Special" for $31.50 plus $2.50 delivery. That was a large 2-topping Pizza, 8 wings and a 2-liter soda. I went with the band-tossed vs thin crust style. I was very impressed that the pizza arrived in 20 minutes! It was also hot and pretty tasty. All in all a pretty good deal, if just a little costly. read more

I just received (delivered) my 2 pizzas which by the way were 5 minutes earlier than they said. I looked at each pizza to make sure each was in good condition; not thrown around and such. They were in great shape as if you got them at the table in the restaurant. The delivery driver was very nice and I actually think I tipped him 3 dollars less that I should have. All in all, their pizzas were fantastic tasting and soft on the crust. WOW. There is NOTHING negative to write here. I will order their pizza over and over again. It was that good. Oops I just thought of something negative...they should have given a little Blue Cheese with my Buffalo Chicken Wing pizza. So make it a 4.99 Star rating. Again WOW read more

Pizza dough was good but short changed on the sauce and cheese makes it a avg pizza. If your making a pizza put some cheese on it!

They NEVER had the pizza ready. Always at least 10 minute wait. Not enough parking or seating for the constant backlog. Charged more for the thin crust than advertised. On TV it was sold for $6. BUT this store charged $7 read more

These guys are great. I just ordered from them again, which makes this probably the eighth or ninth time I've done so. I always get a pizza, and it is fantastic (especially the thin crust). Order online or over the phone and they will have it delivered to your door faster then you'd expect. They're a pretty new business, and are continuing to improve their service. If you live in Ruskin, Apollo Beach, or Sun City Center, South Shore Pizza is THE BEST choice for pizza. Give them a try. -Micah (in Hawks Point) read more
