Want to say I like this place, but can't. 2 mochas took 10 minutes to make and were wrong! We were the only ones in the place and there were two staff. One decaf almond milk mocha and one fully leaded. The mixed the milks and didn't know which was decaf. They remade one but they didn't know which they remade. We stopped by South Point Seascape for lattes and breakfast burritos while staying across the street at the Seascape. The lattes were great and the burritos were tasty once we finally got them. Eventhough we did have to wait about 15 minutes before realizing our order had been forgotten to be warmed up. Thankfully, the staff fixed it right away, and since we weren't in a rush, it wasn't a huge deal. The food was solid overall, and the location is super convenient if you're staying nearby. I walked to this cute coffee shop every single morning during my stay in Aptos. It's conveniently located across the street from the Seascape Resort. I tried all their flavored lattes and my favorite was the brown sugar cinnamon latte. They also had the best cherry turnovers but they sold out fast so you have to get there early for those. Went here two days in a row. Coffee is sub par but it's a convenient location to the resort. It was slow and they had no food, but I eventually get my coffee and am on my way. Second day was terrible. Ordered 3 sandwiches and two teas. 20 minute wait, ask her to check my order or at least hand me my sandwiches. Says she'll check. 20 min later again, same answer. Sometime later -- 45 or so minutes in half the people behind me have gotten their orders, and most of the people in front of me gave up and left and their orders are sitting on the table. I ask if she can just hand me the sandwiches out of the display case so I can go, says she'll check. When she doesn't go do that, I ask for a refund, she says she'll check. I get she was busy but also can't understand how handing me a pre made, pre wrapped sandwich to at least give me half of my order was too difficult. Finally walk out with nothing despite a $50+ credit card charge. They're nice but are completely incompetent at running a coffee shop. read more

Stopped here on our way back from walking on the beach. Ordered a few mochas, a cappuccino, chocolate croissant, burrito, muffin, and sausage sandwich. The drinks came out quickly and so did the pastries (they didn't heat the pastries). We left to bring everything back to our house. Once back at home we realized we forgot to get the burrito and sausage sandwich. We went back and they were waiting on the counter for us. Service was average, everyone who had a mocha said it was watery, and the cappuccino was fine - I've had better but it wasn't horrible, I'd get it again. Chocolate croissant was not good, and I was told the burrito and sausage sandwich wasn't good either. The muffin was good. Overall, I'd go again, but just for coffee. read more

Came here to get an early breakfast before I started a long day of meetings. There were a couple of other customers here when I arrived around 7 am and one barista/cashier who was frantically taking down everyone's orders and then making their drinks. She was a little flustered but I was in no hurry and completely unbothered that I had to wait a couple of minutes before my turn. I ordered a cafe au lait and a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant came out piping out a few minutes later and was delicious - buttery, flaky pastry dough filled with melted cheese and hot ham. Yummy. This was a great little spot to stop and have a small bite and drink! They also have a more full menu at other times. It is fairly big for a coffee shop and can accommodate large groups. Seems like a great meeting spot! We came in the morning but it seems to be a bar in the evening, taproom style. It was however kinda low lighting, large windows with natural light though. They have moveable tables and chairs. Their chairs however are the ones with bars on either side of the hips which isn't great for all body types. They have low top tables and high top tables. The high top tables have stool chairs and chairs with backs. We went at a holiday time (most places weren't open) and they were open and had only one staff person working at the time. It was amazing how fast and attentive he was! He was making food, taking orders, and still addressing each person walking in. He was great! His name was Isaac. There is lots of parking, and even EV chargers on the other side of the buildings. It is in a outdoor mall type thing so there are other little stores and such to enjoy. read more

Adorable little coffee shop/bar. They have artwork all over the walls and a really cool octopus painted on one of the walls. The cashier was super friendly and very helpful. She recommended a vanilla latte based off what I told her I liked and I loved the drink. I also purchased 3 bacon breakfast burritos and my boys and hubby loved them. Both the lady employees that I talked to were very friendly. I would come back here again. I will also mention this mention when I review the hotel across the way! read more

I got an Iced Matcha Latte and unfortunately I do not recommend. As an avid matcha drinker it was one of the worst I've had. The lattes and coffees are good, and the people are super nice. But sadly no amount of sugar can fix this matcha. Any thing else is good though! read more

Wow! Just had a GREAT experience here... I mean this with all sarcasm. You'd have to give me everything for free, for life and maybe I would try it again. But, probably not. Here's why: There was a line of maybe 3 people when I came in. When I got to the counter, I ordered 2 bacon breakfast burritos and an Americano. As the Americano was finished, there was 1 chorizo burrito that they must have made for someone else. They said they could make me a couple of what I ordered. No biggie, not worried. Drove all the way home and realized we got one chorizo and one bacon. Not to mention, they're pre-made and pretty tiny, are about half potatoes, and my Dad offered me the second half of his. I've never seen that happen! Called the shop to let them know that they had dropped the ball and the woman that picked up said "I don't ever work the register, so you can change your tone with me," and then ended the conversation with "Well, you've never worked in a busy coffee shop before and don't know what it's like." I basically said "I was just there and ya'll gave us the wrong order," and this was the response. I was a barista for a couple years in a coffee shop that was much busier than this place on a Saturday morning. I have never talked to a customer like that. Their burritos are terrible, they can't get orders right, and their customer service should take lessons from FastTrack. read more

I just had a bagel and hot chocolate at South Pointe Seascape and wasn't familiar with their procedures. It was my first and last time I will go in there. I placed my order and waited at a table. They weren't busy, and I still waited a long time for my order. They finally pointed where the bagel had been placed on the bar. I didn't understand the unfriendly directions that were muttered. The bagel was very close to the young employees talking among themselves to notice I hadn't picked up my bagel. They could have easily reminded me it was there or even handed it to me. By the time I opened the bagel, it was cold and hard, and the hot chocolate was barely warm. If you want good friendly service, don't visit South Point Seascape. read more

Wasn't as impressed as I last remember. Came for caramel macchiatos. They stayed they ran out of products so had to use the sugar free caramel. I stayed okay and when I got home to drink our drinks they were bad. They did have a selection of bakery goods but the lemon bread looked appealing and reminded me of Starbucks lemon bread but it was just bad, something was off, we ended up tossing it. We did have the ham crussants which were good for our morning snack. Out of all of the bakery goods I think I enjoyed the blueberry muffins the most, the other bakery items delta lacking. The food was barely edible; the wings were still cold in the middle and the tenders were limp and rubbery and if you served them without context, I would not be able to place what kind of meat they were, if any. We visit Seascape frequently and the ONLY option for coffee in the area that might have a chance is South Point. EVERY TIME I'm here, if there is more than 2 people in line, it's going to take 20-30 minutes to get served and obtain a coffee beverage. The employees seem nice enough, but more times than not, even on a Monday (today), it is complete chaos with a mix of angry people waiting in line or a pile of humans wanting for orders to be fulfilled. Having to wait in line for more than 30 minutes to obtain a small drip coffee is completely unreasonable. I'm tired of "trying" this place over and over to only be completely let down. I'm tired of walking in the door, waiting an excruciating amount of time to receive poor service and mediocre coffee. Management here has a real opportunity to make this place special. What I'm sharing here isn't new to today, it's been consistently bad for the last 10 years. With such a perfect location, why isn't there more care into how it's being managed? All the breakfast burritos are pre-made/wrapped and only require heating, yet even this seems like a Herculean task. The "egg bites" are the same ones you buy in Costco, yet they've been opened, removed from their original containers, and placed in plastic bags? What can I say about this place. Well 1. It's locally owned and the owners are fully invested into this. Meaning they are there every day. Working on menus, food pairing, and ambiance. To boot the place is awesome has has loads of locally sourced beers. The food is freaking amazing. Wings are legit! Multiple sauces. Curly fries are exactly what you'd expect from your favorite late night drive thru but better. Their breakfast foods are hands down best in the area. Skip the others and grab what a real breaky burrito is like. The staff is amazing. Super friendly, accommodating, and always have a smile on their face (assuming under the masks). I found this place a few months ago and they never disappoint. Downside. The "tap room" is only open Thurs - Sunday. I wish it was 7x / week. But that's ok too I guess. If you're around check this place out or you will have missed the most hidden gem Seascape/Aptos has to offer. read more

Stopped by for a simple drip coffee and 2 hot chocolates. The staff (3 working behind the counter, well actually only 2, as one was only standing around) 15 minutes later. (actually 16 minutes and some seconds, as I clocked it) I get 1 coffee and 1 hot chocolate. (didn't wait for the 2nd hot chocolate) Now, in fairness, there were 6 or so orders ahead of me, however, they too were grumbling about the long wait, and wrong orders. Possibly the servers were new and not up to speed or knowledge about customer service, equipment or how to take a correct order? Been to this business several times with friends.They have Great food, Great service, friendly staff, bomb coffee and great beers!!! The new owners have completely transformed what was a dilapidated shanty eye sore into a warm and cozy work of art. A must visit if your in the area or staying across the way at the Sea Scape resort....whether it's for the yummy coffee, fire burgers, or a night out with family or friends South Point has something for everyone.
