    Hangover helper with bbq chips
    Mei Y.

We came to this restaurant after seeing the positive reviews. We ordered the beer battered salmon with garlic fries, hangover helper sandwich with BBQ chips, and kids meal of chicken tenders and fries. The fried fish is bland and requires the sauce provided and lemon to have some taste to it. The hangover helper sandwich has bacon, avocado, fried egg, cheese on sourdough bread. This sandwich was good. The chicken tenders were dry. The fries were good and were seasoned well. BBQ chips can skip. Service is good. Overall average meal.

Teriyaki chicken bowl and loaded mashed potatoes

We had a great meal and our server James was AWESOME! I had salmon chips and loaded mashed potatoes and my wife had teriyaki chicken bowl and we have never had a bad meal here!

Classic Hamburger, I always get extra onion on my burgers. The meat on the burger was A1.

Looking for a place to eat while in Santa Cruz we came across the Parish Publik House. We had no idea on how good it really was. The reviews were stellar which made us choose the place but it was far better than we could imagine . Very friendly service with a great beer menu, Hard alcohol as well. The food came fresh, hot and very tasty. I was sold on the cheeseburger Too me I can judge a place on a plain cheeseburger. If you can't do that right then pretty much everything else is gonna be mediocre. That wasn't the case here. Everything was very good from the bbq chips, French fries and even the ranch was top tier. Looking forward to coming back again the next time I'm in town. The ambiance wasn't to bad being that we were there kinda early In The day but it started to fill up due to the lunch crowd so that's something to keep in mind if trying to come in later In The day.

    A wonderful green salad

What a wonderful place to eat! Looked it up on yelp while we were in Aptos. It was really cool looking restaurant like a cabin look to it. Our server wasTito and he was great! He gave us recommendation and showed and checked on us, which was wonderful for a server as far as I'm concerned I ordered a green salad and that was great to start with. We had fried artichoke hearts for an appetizer and they were the best I've ever had. I had fish and chips! I heard about the fish and chips being so good especially since the fish with salmon. So delicious. My husband had parish pie with mashed potatoes and he loved it. I tried it and it was really good. We had chocolate chip bread pudding with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Oh my goodness so delicious! We also had cocktails. My husband had a Moscow Mule and I had something called a purple drink. It was very good! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back to try different menu items and different cocktails.

The best burger around! They offer many craft beers on tap too. Service is friendly and atmosphere is relaxed. Plenty of sports on the TVs. It's often busy and can get crowded but theirs a reason, it's a great place to be. This was the old Britannia Arms restaurant. Sometimes the parking is limited but that's no fault of the restaurant. This area of downtown Aptos is old and very few places have significant parking. Don't let that stop you! Go get yourself the best burger around with a great craft brew or cocktail.

Staff was wonderful, attentive and helpful! Food was visually delicious and equally as amazing in taste! OBSESSED with their salad thank you!

Waitress walked by several times to bus some plates and glasses and input some orders into the console but never made eye contact, nor did the old guy with the glasses when he came out to attend the bar. Finally, I caught his attention and asked if I could order. He just said, "Kinda busy right now" and went back to what he was doing. No "give me a minute and I'll be right with you." Much like the crowd that was already there (and unlike the mixed demographic just outside or me), some older white folks came in after me and stood around for a few minutes also. Waitress finally grabbed some menus and asked them "have you been helped?" I interjected and asked, "Can I place an order to go first please?" Without stopping, she said "no" and continued on to them. I left. They saw me leave and didn't say anything. Make of that interaction what you will. The extra star is giving them the benefit of the doubt since they were busy plus their immediate adjacency to the beach.

Seeing the Scottish drinking Boston dry I wish Scotland had played some of their games at Levi's Stadium. The closest thing to experience the Scottish atmosphere was this Irish pub. I was disappointed when I looked at the food menu and did not list corned beef tacos as stated on the website. Also the food menu listed only five items. I ordered fries and chicken wings. For beer I selected Smithwick's Irish Red Ale. The beer was refreshing however I paid too much for the price of food given the portion provided. The fries were crispy but paying for a basket of fries for $10 I expected the portion to be bigger. I will say the chicken wings were slightly crispy on the outside but most of all juicy inside. My pet peeve is when fried chicken wings are dry. Yet I paid over $18 for chicken wings. I thought I would get a dozen of wings; I only got five wings. For $18 I could have gone the deli section at the grocery store to get eight or ten pieces of fried chicken. Overall the Smithwick's was soothing but given the prices of food especially during a World Cup watch party there should have been more items listed on the food menu.

When trying to decide where to get dinner on Main Street, we couldn't make a decision. My husband suggested Cameron's so we drove over. Dog Friendly: Lucked out with a spot in front of the patio! Lucked out with a table (anywhere) to sit with our dog. They offer water bowls and toys to play with while we're dining. My dog was able to chill for the most part (larger dogs make our rescue pup nervous) but he liked the couple behind us. Eclectic: It's a cool place with different dining areas. They were setting up for Karaoke (Friday/Saturday nights). There's so much to explore with all the knick knacks. The playlist in the dining room area was a wide range of music - I don't know how to explain it but you're listening to "It's a Small World" and then "Sweet Caroline!" You have to see it for yourself. The gender assigned restrooms are located in between the pinball machines. I literally walked outside and then walked back in when I finally found it and was embarrassed! He tried adding some HP sauce to a few bites, adding salt and pepper, and just could not make it edible. he was really disappointed because that is one of his favorites. I told him he should mention it and see if they could bring him something else, but he was adamant that would just make more work for them and he'd feel bad. I did remind him that shepards' pie is not a very seasoned meal. And he said it wasn't just that, but that everything tasted like it came out of tin. I reminded him, as a human who has lived in England, that this was also not out of the ordinary. We did decide we'd try it again next time we were over that way, and he already has chosen something else to try, so the rest of it (including his Mango Cider) was good enough to have him not give up on it. By day, it's warm, welcoming, and family-friendly. You'll see families enjoying dinner, friends catching up over drinks, and locals stopping in for great food and hospitality. But once Friday night hits, the entire atmosphere transforms. The lights dim, the music turns up, the dance floor fills, and the energy becomes something you'd expect to find in a much bigger city. Friday nights bring a fun mix of crowds; from younger groups looking for DJs, dancing, cocktails, and nightlife energy, to older guests enjoying the live music, atmosphere, and social vibe. Honestly, I'm a little older myself and still absolutely love the younger, high-energy scene here. It's fun, welcoming, and never feels out of place no matter your age. That's what makes this place so unique. Everyone fits in and everyone has a great time. Then Saturdays bring a completely different experience with live artists and an incredible variety of music. One weekend you'll hear young country performers getting the crowd singing along, and the next you'll find authentic Irish fiddlers creating that classic pub atmosphere everyone loves. That variety is what keeps people coming back..every weekend offers something different and memorable. The food is outstanding, the beer and cocktail selection is excellent, and the hospitality is second to none.
