I went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago…read more Price- $5 on a weekday (only 2 other golfers on the course the entire time I was there and 9 holes took me about one hour) Staff- only saw one lady working inside who I paid and she was fine...I didn't see anything to speak of in terms of a pro shop to buy supplies/equipment Course- 9 holes that are all par 3; the scorecard had the wrong yardage listed according to the app (Uswing) that I was using and many of the holes were in the 140-160 range; there were a couple holes where the trees were in the way...perhaps holes #3 and #6; there were no tee markers with yardage and the tee boxes were in poor condition making it hard to put a tee in the ground; the greens were pretty green but the type of grass and the length made it hard to putt because you had to hit it so hard *to sum up this is not a great course but the price reflects that and it is hard to complain very much for $5 or $6

Such a fun little course…read more It's my goal to play every course in LA County, so this was on the list. Compton Par 3 is a decent sized, 9 hole muni course. A few of the holes are on the long side and the greens aren't the typical flat ones you get on a course like this; they've got some undulation and some are raised. The course architecture is what makes it fun. No mats; it's nice to tee off on grass on a little muni course. The grass isn't perfect, but it's in good shape. There's nothing to buy in the clubhouse, really - I think I saw 2 shirts and some tees. There is a kitchen that has breakfast, burgers and such - I skipped that, though. I would probably come back if a friend wanted to go.

Reading the reviews with time and waiting we didn't have to deal wait that as the first group out…read more For the money you kinda expect a better experience and a bit of a nicer pro shop, food, etc. No direction was given it was check in and see you later. The course is very challenging, narrow, long, and unforgiving out of bounds. The greens were in good shape and very fast. To be honest with a decent amount of good rain you would think the course would be dialed, but to be honest it was kind of rough. Tons on divot marks that never grew back, patchy approach areas, and just ok tee boxes. As with many other posters for the same price go to Moorpark or Rustic.

I played here yesterday, and I just had to come back here to Yelp to set the record straight,…read morebecause the current 2.5 star rating just doesn't feel like a fair representation of what this course truly has to offer. I've never played here before, but GolfNow was offering a nice discount, so I decided to take a chance on it despite the poor reviews and low star rating, and I was pleasantly surprised by how far it exceeded my very low expectations. Here's what you can expect if you decide to play here: Pre-Round: - Quality warm-up/practice areas. At the range you're hitting decent quality balls, off real grass (not mats) out into a lush grassy range with nicely visible yardage targets. - Putting practice is on a tight, fast green that's well maintained. Only critique here was there weren't many holes to aim to... I counted maybe 4-5 total, which is not much. - Clubhouse was a lovely Spanish style building, with clean bathrooms, nice pro shop with friendly staff, and a cafe/food window set next to a nice outdoor patio eating area. The Golf: - Walking is not permitted (for pacing reasons, I assume) but the electric golf carts are HIGH-QUALITY, not beat up, cheap public course shame trains. They each have full color screens with GPS enabled course maps, providing you with hole layouts and yardages. They are stocked with complimentary bottled water, towels, and tees. Before you even swing a club, this feels like a premium experience. - The course conditions were beautiful. They're not perfect... you're not playing Augusta National here, but it was well above average for a public course. Tee boxes were level, green, weed free and well maintained. If you're used to playing public courses where you have to dance a two-step around the tee box for 2 minutes trying to find a level spot to hit from, you'll feel spoiled by the beautiful tee boxes. -Fairways are tight, a bit hard (you're in desert terrain) and very green. Didn't see a lot of dead grass out there, but then again it did rain recently. -The first cut rough is pretty well maintained, with some weeds around the edges, but for the most part very playable. -Bunkers has a few large rocks in them here and there, but were pretty fluffy and soft for the most part. One bunker I landed in was so soft, my ball plugged into the sand a good inch or two. -The course design is really interesting and unique, and WILL BE A CHALLENGE for most weekend golfers. You need to be accurate off the tees and have a decent approach game. If not, bring a lot of balls because the desert OB areas are cruel and will mercilessly collect your entire last order of golf balls off Amazon. - The pace of play was actually great. We never felt rushed and never felt like we waited more than a few minutes for the group ahead to finish. We played on Sunday, teeing off just before noon, so you'd expect it to be busy, but it was pleasantly un-crowded. -I appreciated the little details that this course has paid attention to, like areas around the tee boxes and beside cart paths that often have beautiful hard-scape features, like rocks or pavers, which is a classy touch. Other on-course amenities: - Ball washers were regularly placed throughout the course - At least one set of bathrooms was out on the course (thank you very much). - Beverage carts came around at least twice to check on us and offer us food during the round... another premium that you don't get on cheap public courses. One STRANGE experience: We finished our round around 4:30PM and when we rolled in toward the clubhouse, the place was an absolute ghost town. Not a soul was in sight. Pro shops was dark, locked up and closed. Food service window was closed, security cage pulled over the window. There were no human beings anywhere when I pulled my cart up to the cart return--- just felt odd that nobody was around. Other than that, Angeles National served up a great day of quality golf with premium amenities. It's not cheap, but it's also not as expensive as you might expect for a high quality course. With our GolfNow "HotDeal" it was around $120 and I consider it a steal at that price. If that price tag is a stretch, then reward yourself with a round here once in a while and enjoy the incredible mountain views, picturesque desert, and course conditions that far exceed expectations of a public course.

This is one of a few wedding event venues that my sister is checking out for her upcoming wedding…read more It's beautiful! We had the pleasure of being shown around by, David. He was great! This venue is located on the public golf course which is maintained by the city. The golf course is the backdrop for where everything happens. And it's really pretty! There is a grassy area with gable for the ceremony. The outdoor patio area is a big area and perfect for outside cocktails and gathering. The inside reception and dining area seats up to 250 or more guests. Basically, everything you need for a wedding is here. There is a bar area where guests can hang out before the start of the ceremony. There is a bridal room and groom's room. There is a lot of parking. The cost came in at a very reasonable range. They seem to be very popular and already had some dates that weren't available for May 2027! Some things to consider. It's located on a busy street. They don't close down for your event, so there could be outside stragglers as your event gets started. Honestly, these shouldn't be deal breakers for what you get here. It just depends on your expectations and how much you are willing to pay. This location is one of many event centers serviced by Wedgewood. Their website is nice in that it gives pricing charts so you know up front the price range of each venue before you take the time to visit.

From start to finish, the entire planning process went so smoothly, and that is 100% because of Davina. She was an absolute angel. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but she made everything feel organized, calm, and completely stress-free. Every question was answered, every detail was handled, and I felt supported the entire way through. On the actual wedding day, everything ran beautifully and seamlessly. I was able to be fully present and just enjoy marrying my husband. If you're considering this venue do it. It was stunning, well-run, and the team made it such a joyful experience. We are so grateful.

I was really excited to bring my toddler here because she loves indoor playgrounds/children's…read moremuseums. This place is huge but it is chaotic (I went on a Sunday morning). There were a lot of different areas but it was hard for my daughter to actually do anything because the areas were packed and a lot of the items were missing from the areas due to kids moving them around. That's understandable -kids will be kids- but because there were so many kids the staff couldn't keep up with putting the items back in the designated areas. For example, we went to the "mail room" there was literally no mail in it. We went to the tool/building area and there were literally no tools and not enough building materials to build anything. This was pretty much every area we went to. The amount of kids also made it super overstimulating for my daughter. Normally when we go to these kinds of places it's calm and she is actually able to learn, play, interact etc. Lastly, it's expensive. Normally when we go to these kinds of places an adult is included when paying for a child to enter. Here, you have to pay for an adult and child ticket - so it was 44$ for the both of us. Totally not worth the price when it is so overrun.
