I…read moreliterally stumbled into the place walking around the area while my son was playing toque soccer next door. When he started there, he was a .238 hitter in 10U. Now at 13U, he's hitting .480 and one of the best hitters on his team. I can't say enough good things about our experience. It's a no nonsense facility, extremely busy and you see everyone putting in the work. From Manny Jr. , Manny Sr., to Kristina, everyone working there is so nice. Manny Jr. is really good about finding an age appropriate approach that will work for your child. He is direct, he doesn't coddle, and yet he builds confidence in a way my son really believed he could be a hitter. Even now at 13, whenever he has a big day, he can't wait to share it with Manny Jr....and when he has a rough day at the plate, he will ask to see Manny. There's no substitute for when your child has a hitting coach they trust. They discuss mechanics, game situations, and the importance of school because wanting to play baseball in college can't happen without good grades. I can't recommend the facility enough. If you are serious about committing to your child getting better in baseball or softball, Triple Play is a great place to start.

I was at the park yesterday playing some kickball with some friends when they wandered off to the…read morebatting cages when we took a brief break. They came back and said why don't I go and give it a try so I did. For $5 you get to hit for 3 minutes. I hadn't gone to a batting cage in a very long time so I gave it a try. Well now I regret it because I got bugs in my hair and it's been itching. I don't know how to get rid of it atm. I hope my doctor is not on vacation and will be able to determine what's going on up there. They provide you a helmet and a bat. I went with the softball since the ball would probably come out slower and I'd be able to hit it. I missed it the first two times then afterwards it was home runs and singles until it was over. It would be a better experience if I had my own helmet to wear.

For starters, I definitely appreciate them taking the time to reach out to me to get some more info on why were disappointed the first time around. They listened to what we had to say and were receptive to the feedback. Looking back, the biggest issue we had with the tournaments had been the inconsistency with the officiating from field to field. Totally understanding that officials will miss calls, and also that no matter what call is/isn't made at least one team will get upset, but the main issue we had was different officials going by a different rule set in the same tournament. Now that I understand a bit more of their normal day-to-day rules and why there can be some confusion for the refs for some specific tournaments that may have slightly different rules, I can see where things can get mixed up. Like any league, we've had some really good refs and some pretty poor ones, but I appreciate the efforts I've seen the Goals team make to address issues as they arose. So that being said, in terms of the staff and the fields on the other hand we've had increasingly positive experiences with them which is why I wanted to come back here and update my initial review.

Gold n' Stuff is a great place for kids and teens. Some adults like to play miniature golf, but we…read morehave only seen them on rides with their kids. The place has been around quite some time and kids do tend to make a mess, but they keep up after it. Parking is for a fee, but sometimes you get a game card that comes with the parking. It can get crowded in the summer and on weekends. We go on week days and have been several times. Now, the prices in here add up fast so be mindful of that, but it is the same as other similar places. Miniature golf is about 16$, a go kart is about 12$, the arcade can really add up so get a card that you can use for the wide variety of games they have. The bumper boats and Disk Thrill Ride are about 12$ per person. We love their little train and that is about 5$. You can get a two hour wrist band and we do that and save a lot that way. All in all the prices are fair. The service there is nice and the place has a lot to offer, you don't have to do it all. There is a lot to do. They also have Birthday Parties there and that is great. It is super fun.
