I needed a last minute transport done and I had been signed up with another company and no one showed. I needed to get my car from Maryland to San Francisco. I was flying out the next day in the evening. I had gotten a few voice messages from Nicole Cooke, so out of sheer panic and desperation, I called her. It was after 6pm so I thought I would get her voicemail. I was totally floored that Nicole answered me. I told her my dilemma and what time my flight was. She gave me 3 options regular, expedited or enclosed. She recommended the expedited. It was pricey but I needed my car GONE. She called me around 10pm that she had a truck with space and he could pick up the next morning. He was on my doorstep 7:30am. The relief to see my car leave on a truck, was immeasurable. I got to San Francisco. Between the trucker, Mike, his dispatcher, Julie and Nicole I was kept updated on my transport. My car made it without a scratch. Transporter broke my drivers side mirror off during transport. After multiple attempts to contact, the driver called saying he didn't break it "the bolt broke". He snapped it off like nothing and said when I asked him the day of delivery that it's in the truck... "you can just screw it back on". Really an unfortunate experience that if handled appropriately the situation could've been defused easily. Plain and simple 1. Mirror was not broke when you took possession of the vehicle. 2. Upon delivery the mirror was not on the mirror bracket it was laying on the floor inside of the truck. 3. When asked to fix it or replace it you tried to lie and not accept responsibility. read more

If I could give no stars I would. They called me at 8:34 PM and I have a 2-year-old whom I had just gotten to sleep. When I spoke with Nelson he became argumentative and told me his company was open until 9 PM so he did not see a problem calling me while he was still open. Then told me that there are companies open 24 hours so he doesn't see why calling me at this hour was any problem. Nelson was completely unprofessional and told me that they have an A with the BBB making it sound like I was wrong because of that rating. Well, they have an A- and hopefully my review put them into the B range. They called me this morning at 6:58AM-after I answered and told them this was not an acceptable hour to call people they called back again at 7:26am, 7:34am, 7:59am and 11:15am. When I spoke with Katrina she became argumentative and told me that it's an automated dialing system and that my number is a Minnesota number therefore it was ok to call at those hours. Didn't seem to matter that I requested a quote from California and provided a California zip code. If you're going to be calling early morning from the East Coast you should probably take into account time zone differences and maybe not argue with the person you just woke up and want to do business with. This is the worst transportation company out there; please don't use them if you can help it. I called and spoke with Alan Ortega on Jan 24th to set up the transportation of my car from Sacramento Ca to Albuquerque, NM. I let Alan know that my dates were flexible but my car needed to be picked up NO LATER than Saturday February 4th. Alan kept telling me not to worry and that he "GUARNTEES" that my car will be picked up by that day. I went with that and text on Wednesday Feb 1, 2017 asking him when I was going to hear from the driver because I haven't heard anything, he replied back and said don't worry about it he is lining ever y thing up and I should hear something soon. I said soon when you haven't told me anything he said just one more day and I would hear something and to trust him and that it was 100% guaranteed that he would have a driver by Saturday February 4th. Friday comes around and there is still nothing, I text him again and said when will I hear something by Saturday morning and he was waiting on a few more trucks to respond. I text him Saturday morning at 7:00am asking him what time the driver was coming and he said oh your leaving today, I thought you needed a driver by Monday the 6th. I then called him to tell him that is not what the contract said and he has known all along what the date was. He then started yelling at me saying it's not his fault, he then told me to leave the keys in the car and he would have the driver come pick it up from where I leave it at. Who in their right mind would do that? I said why would I I dot that so someone could steal my car? He said I never told him that I needed it by Saturday February 4th and continued to yell at me and said my dates were not flexible. I told him they were, he said that he wasn't at his computer and he couldn't tell me when a truck was coming and that he would look it up on Monday. I told him that didn't help me today because I needed to have my car picked up today. This man was so rude and should not be telling customers that he guarantees something when he can't. He left me stranded when I needed to leave Sacramento, Ca by noon. I ended up calling Steve at All Day Transpiration and he had my car picked up by noon. One of the worst companies I've ever worked with - from the sales department to customer service I was consistently disappointed and let down. I was hoping to get my car shipped from the South to the East Coast before my start date at a new job. I gave 3 weeks advanced notice of shipping my car and was assured by my sales representative, Alan Ortega, that it could be done without issue in that timeline. The company never followed up or called me, I consistently had to call my sales rep for updates or information. I called twice a week for updates to always receive none. Sales continued to assure me it could be done even after the original pick up date had passed. I even extended my pick-up date in order to give the sales representative more opportunities to find a carrier. One day, five days before the scheduled pick up date Alan called and stated a driver could come in an hour. As this was during business hours and not during the original timeline we discussed, I was not able to meet the driver. On the week I was hoping my car to be delivered, I called my sales representative back and stated I needed more specifics by the end of the day or I would be going with another carrier. The sales representative proceeded to accuse me of "not understanding how the system worked" and that "another carrier would not be able to get this job done any faster." Instead of fighting to keep my business, he accused me of not being ready on time when he had found a carrier for me previously. I explained that he did not give me enough advanced notice and he corrected me that an hour should have been long enough. I was only met with excuses that drivers weren't going my route, there was bad weather, or that my timeline was too short to find a driver. If a car shipping company could not find a carrier to ship a car on a three day drive in three weeks, they should not be in business. After I did not hear from Alan by the end of the day, I called customer service to report the issues I was having. The customer service representative only gave me more excuses that Alan was trying his hardest and weather was the issue. Once again, a representative from the company talked down to me and explained that I simply didn't understand how this business worked. I told the customer service representative to pull my business immediately and I would be going with a competitor. I called other companies for quotes who all explained that the low number I was being quoted at South Beach was a reason the car was not being picked up and only provided a larger commission for the company. I signed up with another company same day that found me a driver WITHIN AN HOUR. South Beach Transport's inability to get this job done coupled with the poor customer service I received was simply unacceptable and I would warn anyone against using this company. read more

It seems as if all transport companies lack good reviews including this one. I desperately needed my car transported from VA to WY so I went with South Beach out of the other dozens who contacted me. The price was nice and they didnt seem to have any major reviews concerning damages to any cars or money issues... oh and because Nicole Cooke sent me at least 20 emails. This was my first car transport so I tried to do as much research as possible. Nicole explained the system between brokers and carriers, explained that I should NOT pay anything until I receive my car at my destination including deposits, how they are approved by the Federal Business Bureau, gift cards are a scam, and other great information (which I confirmed afterwards). Brad was the assigned carrier for my 2010 honda civic. Nicole and Brad but stayed in contact with me along the route as I flown to WY. My car was picked up and delivered on time. At the last minute I requested to change my destination which was only 5 miles away from the original destination, this was no problem for Brad. He was awesome and returned my car in its original condition. It looked like it was bathe in dirt, however, it was on his truck for 1811 miles. I would definitely work with south beach and Brad again. If you want to save more money, try finding a carrier without going through a carrier. My history 12-16-2019 quote received 12-18 " We have 3 spots on a truck in your area." 12-18 "Order placed, car pick up on or after 12-26." 12-26" I will give you a 2 hour window." 12-27 "Let me check in with the driver." 12-28 "Heard from driver. They are looking tomorrow. Had a mechanical issue." Sound familiar to anyone? 12-31 "Lets get this out today." 1-2-2020" I am still working on this." If you call this company for a quote they will answer the call, after that when you need information you get a message they they will call you back in 20 minutes. It wont happen. I used this company but booked it under Navy Auto Transport - they are the same company. I'm not sure why they have 2 names. I had been trying to get bids to move my husband's Nissan Xterra from Denver to Austin for weeks. I was unsure how we were getting there so I denied the bids, thinking the cost would go down closer to the move. It actually went up and I almost accepted a rate for $538 but the driver was actually driving the car and it seemed crazy for us to put that many miles/wear and tear on the car for $538. So I was a little suspicious of the low $550 bid but I checked reviews and the Better Business Bureau and felt comfortable booking this. (I would advise checking Better Business Bureau when you get low rates - another company I looked up had an F rating and very bad reviews about not following through after taking upfront money). A driver picked up our car on Monday early afternoon and delivered it Tuesday afternoon. Crazy fast!!! Most companies said to expect up to 8 days and possibly more with the holiday so we were very impressed. Since we were still in Denver when the driver picked up our car, we worked out a way to pay him immediately and the whole transaction was very smooth. I've only shipped a car one other time (from Kansas City to Denver) but this process was definitely smoother - and it even cost less to move a larger vehicle a farther distance. When I said the date I wanted, I signed the contract and when it came time for my car to get picked up no one ever showed. Tried calling my agents personnel and work number, never answered. I am a doctor sworn to do no harm. If you cannot trust me I'm not sure who you can trust. South Beach transport company aka Car2Transport will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to get a deposit out of you. The deposit is their fee for finding you a hauler. The rest of the money is paid by you directly to the hauler. Be warned, soon as south beach has your deposit you are on your own. If the company they find for you is a good one you'll probably be just fine. if the company they select for you are flakes which is often the case you are on your own. This despite south beaches promises to help you find another hauler if that scenario should arise. They will no longer talk with you or answer your emails once they have your money. They feel no obligation to you whatsoever once they give you the name and number of a hauler. The company they set me me up with to do the actual hauling of my car Pacific Auto Delivery said Nicole Cooke at South Beach Transport was lying to me when she claimed to me she had a confirmed contract with Pacific auto delivery for a specific pick up date. For those of you who signed south beaches aka cars2transport contract do not be afraid as my attorneys at Parker Stanbury of Los Angeles reviewed and feel it's an uninforcable one sided agreement. It's this agreement that south beach feels gives them the right to treat their clients like trash after they receive your money. In the end pacific transport called me back saying they would pick up my car on the agreed upon date. I got lucky, but south beach transport were completely MIA when deal started to go wrong. As for any positive postings regarding either south beach or car2transport these postings were likely posted by the companies themselves My advice is to never use a broker, find an actual hauler and deal with them directly. The car was not picked up on the contracted date and no call was received. We called the next day and was told that a driver could not be found for the contracted price. This is one of the worst companies I have ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with, their customer service is abhorrent. I contacted South Beach Transport via their own website and the person that contacted me was Alan Ortega. He gave me a quote of around $200 less than other companies I had talked to and something about our conversation didn't seem right. There was a lot of talk about how easily I could get scammed and there seemed to be a lot of pressure to use their service. Despite all that I felt like I was polite and I told him that if I decided to use their service I would give him a call back. After that I have received at least two calls a day for the last couple days and constant emails. Not all from Alan, but from South Beach Transport reps. Today Alan called me back and I told him that I had received a number of calls from them and that I had told the others that I decided to go with another company. He insisted that I was not called by them at all and that it was "clearly" other companies. At that point he started to ask me a ton of questions, which I really didn't have the time or desire to answer, it's was also none of his business. He got very defensive and started to raise his voice at me telling me that I was going to get scammed, and that he hoped I enjoyed getting scammed and when I do get scammed not to call him back. At that point, although I consider it rude to hang up on someone, I did just that. I can't believe that is how they would treat someone who decided not to use their service. I would steer clear of this company, they seem to have something to hide. The fact that they try to convince you that you will be scammed if you use another company is ridiculous and their phone manner is unacceptable. I used an online search engine to receive different quotes for shipping a vehicle across country. Biggest mistake ever. Not only have I had a 100 emails and 10 phone calls from various companies, southbeach called me at least 5 times on their own, I had 15 emails in one day from them and they texted me at 545am. I asked REPEATEDLY to be removed from their list and for them to stop contacting me. The response was with more text messages, phone calls and emails. I had to threaten with reporting them to the BBB for harassment for them to remove me from their lists. It is ILLEGAL to call/text potential customers before 8am. I told them numerous times I was located in California and they were allowed to contact me that early in the morning. Please run far from this company. read more

We strongly suggest that everyone not use this company for any vehicle transport. They hire other companies to transport; you have no idea the quality, reputation, or dependability of the company they hire; when our vehicle was clearly damaged by the company they hired, they would not fix the car or do anything to resolve the issue. The company they hired, Unity Transport, also should never be used. Never showed up when they said they would pick up the vehicle; no notification when it was to be delivered. Their driver flattened the tires to jam the vehicle on the transporter, damaged the roof, and then apparently lived in the back of the vehicle until it was delivered. Our son is in the Navy and the vehicle was in perfect condition when we shipped it to his family. When it arrived the roof was damaged, outside scratched, inside damaged and dirty with food. The fact that South Beach and Unity would not simply take care of the damage, leaving it to our son to deal with, is unacceptable. read more

This company is a transportation broker, they do not physically transport your car. They rely on the network of interstate drivers as does all of the other auto transport brokers listed on the internet that have an 1-800 phone number and a office in their house. SBT simply list your needs on a national board that truckers /carrier choose business off of. With that said, Ultimately my car was picked up when they said it was to be picked up and delivered when it was said to be delivered. They used bait and switch pricing to gain my business. I was on somewhat of a time schedule and had to make the move so I bit the bullet. Lesson learned. HOWEVER, The stress incurred because of the lack of communication and empty promises and ducking of my phone calls and that dam repeating voice recording when you sit on hold for 20 minutes only to be placed into a voicemail. David at South Beach Transport was honest and helpful and had a truck from Sharp Transport at my house in Arizona within two days. The vehicle arrived in Michigan within 6 days as promised. The driver, Alex, kept us informed prior to pick up and delivery and was very courteous. Couldn't have hoped for a better experience - especially given all the bad reviews for various companies in this industry. I spoke to many transport companies but I was impressed with Nicole's professionalism so I chose SouthBeach Transport. What a mistake. I called when I knew exactly when the car could be moved and stated that I needed the car moved on Saturday, October 13. Nicole assured me this would be no problem. I signed the paperwork and waited. I never received a call telling me when the driver would arrive. Friday afternoon I began calling. I was assured every single time that my transport would be done the next day. Finally at 5 PM I was really getting worried when no time had been assigned. That is when the real run around began. No one had an answer. Finally Nicole called me and said she had a driver out of Richmond, 30 minutes from my car. Hooray. NOPE! Saturday morning I began to call again. I called every phone number I had for South Beach Transport. I called over and over. All I ever got was a voicemail after waiting on hold multiple times. Finally at about 1:30 PM I got a text from Nicole saying she was working on it. Then the next text message said the driver was NOT coming because his wench would not work. It was too late to find another driver and we had to leave the car and go home. This was for a classic car that only needed to be moved 208 miles. So now I don't even know how I am going to get this car to its new home. Stay away from South Beach Transport. They talk nice until they reel you in and then they won't answer the phone. read more

ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH, WORST COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I contacted South Beach Transport via their own website and the person that contacted me was Nicole Cooke. She gave me a quote of $900 to ship my vehicle. There was a lot of talk about changing the date for pick-up, we were flexible and worked with the dates that Nicole said the transport vehicle would be available. The day of the pick up, we did not hear from Nicole so I called her asking what time the truck was going to arrive. She said she would call back, that the driver was supposed to call us. After several calls to Nicole she said that she could not find a driver. Let me remind you this is the day that the vehicle was supposed to be picked up and it was 4pm when she finally ran out of excuses and gave us a heads up that this shipment would not happen. Nicole was completely rude, she had an excuse after excuse with zero apology, all she said was that it was out of her control, that's it. With us moving 17,000 miles from South Dakota to South Carolina, the very next day we were forced to drive our car that was supposed to be shipped. Nicole & South Beach Transport did not take any consideration on what there action caused us financially and logistically during our move. We immediately contacted another shipping company. That company was able to see that Nicole put in the request for a driver the day our vehicle was scheduled to be picked up. HORRIBLE COMPANY! NOT TRUSTWORHTY! Do not use this company. I doubt the good reviews are real. I am a coporate level executive and I have shipped cars over 20 years now. South Beach Auto was not the cheapest but Mario was friendly and appeared to be honest. He said he could pick up my car from Houston, Texas on Friday and have it delivered by Saturday. He claimed there was NO UPFRONT cost. I received the contract via email that asked for a credit card to be put on file. Immediately $200 was put on HOLD! The car was picked up on Friday as promised. Friday night asked for an update so that I could make plans to turn in my vehicle. No reply! Saturday-NO CAR and NO Reply. Sunday-NO CAR and NO REPLY. Monday- NO CAR and NO REPLY. Tuesday, I thought I would try to call the driver again. NO ANSWER but he texted he would arrive between 1pm and 3pm. Prior to the drivers response, I texted South Beach Auto-Mario and received a rude and unprofessional response. He stated that PER MY CONTRACT, I would get the cars. BMW and MERCEDES! He called me hostile and said I could leave a bad review if I wanted to. Of course, he had received his $200 payment. Under no circumstances should you use this company. Danger -----Nichole seemed to be a nice girl -- I think she bid the deal too low and she could not perform on her deal i was willing to go higher to get the truck moved. but she assured me that she could do it when she realized that she couldn't do her bid she would put me on permanent hold and could never get a hold of her after that -----BEWARE they will never not answer phone after that -- just get a different shipper and cut the loss of time. read more

Ok so now they are calling from another phone number. Calling & Texting. When you followed their instructions to text "STOP", you get an error message. The other phone numbers were: (888) 550-5573 and (305) 505-0471. Like I don't have anything better to do besides keep getting their calls. read more
