I had a delightful experience ordering some chicken curry along with some naan. I arrived and looked around at the options. There was a small wait for a Tuesday lunch, and I asked a many questions about the dishes. While there were meat or vegetarian entrees with rice or multiple sides, I chose to stick with the small chicken dish (8 oz) with a side of garlic naan. I figured that would complement another dish I tried from another vendor. The chicken curry dish was tasty and delicious as was the garlic naan (which certainly beat out any regular naan). The prices, however, were quite high. I enjoyed the food and would come back for other dishes or even an entree with sides in the future. Flavors of India was established in 1991 as one of the oldest merchants at the North Market. It is a family business that serves home-style Northern Indian cuisine made with freshly sourced ingredients each morning. They incorporate healthy herbs and spices (turmeric, coriander, ginger, and garlic) in each dish offering truly authentic flavors of India. There are also Vegan and Gluten-Free options available. The location is on the west side of the North Market along the wall. The hours at the North Market are Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 12 to 5 PM.
