From my perspective, the lemon-blueberry scones are a good size and good value. But, even adjusting for GF ingredients, I consider the cinnamon rolls undersized for the price. Same for the Italian herb bread. I can't imagine that a larger size would require more than a minute or two of extra labor, and a larger quantity of ingredients, of course. So, how about charging a bit more, and doubling the size? Overall, I appreciate the effort, and say thank you, GFaL, for GF baked goods in the Metro East.

Our server was a very friendly, kind young lady, I think her name was Ebony? They were quite busy, but we never waited for anything. Mine had an allergen request, which they took care of. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and very tender. Our salad greens were fresh and the salads were properly dressed. The sodas were really fizzy, which I love, and we got this caramel cookie thing with ice cream for dessert. It was hot, gooey and I'd happily order it again.

Luckily, I was still able to grab a dairy-free chocolate chip cookie and a lemon blueberry truffle. If I hadn't known the cookie was dairy-free, I never would have guessed. While I usually prefer a softer cookie, this one had a nice balance--a slightly soft center with just a bit of crunch around the edges. I wouldn't have minded a few more chocolate chips, but it was still satisfying. The lemon blueberry truffle, however, was the standout. It was absolutely delicious. The attendant mentioned they come frozen and that most people actually prefer them that way. After trying it, I can see why. The first bite reminded me of the blueberry cake donut from Kwik Trip, but with a bright hint of lemon that made it even better. Overall, both treats definitely hit the spot. Next time, I'll be sure to get there earlier so I can choose from the full selection!

I wasn't real satisfied with the flavor of the meatballs on the pizza. The ambience in the restaurant was wonderful. The staff was very polite and professional, coming over several times. They asked if we want a refill on our drinks. However, the pizza was not to my standards for flavor?!
