The Corn Chowder and Wild Mushroom Bisque is also fantastic. I can't help but order Ravis Stew each time, but I'll usually pick one more to go. It's quick, it's solid food, it's comforting, and it's delicious! 100% recommend.

Right off the start, I was impressed with how GF meals were clearly marked, but more so that vegan options were available. My mother has an intolerance to fish/shell fish, so it's always been a hit or miss with Thai food whether she'll develop a migraine after, even if the restaurant is informed. No worries this time, and she didn't have a reaction. The food itself was delicious (Peanut Chicken, Grilled Beef, and a vegan dish that escapes me), and comparatively inexpensive to other Thai on the Danforth delivery options. I was impressed with how the food let the ingredients speak for themselves, rather than the sauces overwhelming every aspect. Very impressed with the Peanut Chicken, as I try this dish anytime it is offered by a restaurant. Bamboo shoots were cooked to perfection - delicate and soft, not tough and fibrous. The peanut sauce itself let the peanuts do the talking (rather than being overpowered by other ingredients), and the spice was gentle on the palette. The presentation and containers weren't as upscale as some others, but quite frankly when I'm paying less for the same amount of delicious food, I couldn't care less. Will definitely be ordering again.

I've seen this restaurant before in the midland and finch plaza but hadn't tried it yet. We were seated promptly and instructed on how to order. It was easy enough to just scan the code and start looking through the app menu and the physical menu they provided. We ordered family style and had a clam soup with vermicelli, fried eggplant, fried fish, the full shrimp pan fried dumplings, boiled pork dumplings, deep fried enoki mushrooms, fried chinese cabbage, and sesame flatbread and the specialty rice. For dessert we received the deep fried milk. I must say I'm not a big seafood eater but the clam soup was delicious. It was not fishy at all and had really nice garlic flavour. I would get it again. The fried dishes were hot and crispy though the group agreed the oil might have been a little too cool as the dishes seemed to absorb a bit more oil than we prefer. However everything had really good flavour and my favourites were the soup and the rice. The restaurant is low key and spacious enough for decently large groups. They had high chairs for kids as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would return to try more dishes and get other hot pots.

The chicken was scarce in the fried rice dishes and the kung pao chicken. In the description of the kung pao chicken, I was told there would be peanuts and mixed vegetables. However, when we received it, there were no peanuts and barely any chicken pieces and too many vegetables. They also forgot to serve it with the steamed rice that is included. We were told the fried rice can be shared between 2-3 people, but it was hard to do with such little amount of chicken. The lollipop chicken was nice and crunchy. I did not care for this kung pao chicken version at all. It was far from any kung pao I had ever tasted and was more like a schezuan taste. We wanted to order tea and mango lassi, but they said they were out of these.

Sadly, the food is quite underwhelming. I came here for some take out and after a glance at the menu I decided to get the sweet and sour manchurian chicken. It's a basic meal that all Chinese restaurants have and even comes with a cup of rice. It has your typical pineapples, onions and bell peppers. At first it was a very salty but that faded away after a few bites. The chicken was very chewy which was unexpected. Honestly, it was edible but if you took sweet and sour chicken from a Chinese supermarket I honestly wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The thing is, this costed $16.95 so man was this a let down. Seems like you're paying a markup because it's a sit down restaurant.

They were quite busy with takeout orders which I took as a good sign. We ordered the Beef Sirloin Noodles level spicy and numb(4/5), Breaded Shrimp (5/5) Seafood Fried Rice (4/5) and Lamb Skewers (4/5). Beef Sirloin Noodles were delicious. The broth itself was not overly salty compared to other places we've been to. I enjoyed the addition of peanuts to this dish for that extra crunchy texture and nutty taste. The noodles were cooked perfectly. They were bouncy and chewy. The beef itself was good. Some were a tad bit chewy. I wish there was more bok choy. We'd also opt for extra spicy and extra numb next time. Breaded Shrimp was enjoyable. You can't go wrong with this dish. It was crispy, and the batter to shrimp ratio was decent. Seafood Fried Rice was good as well. Again, we liked how it wasn't overly salty. We were able to sense the taste of the seafood. I wish they added more scallops since we only got two pieces in the whole dish. Lamb Skewers were satisfying flavour-wise. We really liked the seasoning on them. It was on the chewier side but it was manageable. We'd like to try their other skewer options next time. Overall, such a good spot for affordable and delicious food. I'm glad my family recommended this place. I'd like to point out that a customer was being problematically entitled and rude yet the female server stayed professional. I thought she handled the situation quite calmly which I wanna commend her for. P.S. The restaurant has a sign on their door saying not to bring pets inside. So please read this and try not to bring your pet inside to avoid looking entitled and rude.
