Sad n fake looking Bún bò Huế
Trevor L.

What a sad n fake looking Bún bò Huế, no hint of spicy n lemongrass at all, meat toppings are pretty much like a regular pho, some of them chewy n got a funny tasting to it. Sizing wise, supposedly this is a Large but it's comparable to a Medium bowl at other pho restaurants, would not recommend. They have many signs around restaurant stating it's CASH ONLY. Visited this restaurant bc high praises from inSauga, ultimately a letdown, they quoted "held in high regard by locals for some of the best Vietnamese cuisine in the Region of Peel", "the best Vietnamese food in the GTA", I don't think this place is within top 50 of GTA let alone the best... https://www.insauga.com/beloved-vietnamese-restaurant-may-reopen-in-brampton/

Pork n shrimp fried rice

-Food was good and good amount of beef in the pho and I loved the pork fried rice -service was okay, they had the table setup with condiments and cutlery so we didn't really need to call them much

I have dined at this hidden gem for number of times , their choices of Pho are excellent . Taste , quality , speed of service all calls for a applause . Seems liked managed by a family . If you are a pho lover don't miss this place !!

Curried chicken and fried pork and shrimp spring roles
Johnny S.

Hello fellow foodies today I bring you a food review for a vietnamese restaurant tucked away in a small plaza on the west side of Kennedy just north of queen st. Seems to be a family run operation . I decided to stop in today after reading some great reviews on there food. I was specifically looking to try there curried chicken and steamed rice dish but I also ended up ordering there pork and shrimp fried spring rolls . Now the review! Food 5/5 I was very impressed with the suble but very flavorful asian style curry flavour . You can tell that the chicken was marinated in this wonderful curry marinade for a long time because the color and flavour was right through and deep into the tender chicken thigh meat ..the chicken was sauted with some nice crispy onions and covered in that wonderful curry sauce . They also gave me an extra small container with more of that amazing curry sauce to pour over the rice or over the chicken really nice bonus and made the meal extra saucy . The portion size was very generous and large I actually had to finish it in two meals as it was alot of food. Now the fried pork and shrimp spring roles were also amazing really packed with ingredients the pork and shrimp and a soft light crusty shell .they were for sure top notch and up there as far as fried spring roles go that I have had Over all great tasty food well made well seasoned and generous portions I was very impressed. Service 5/5 i called in my order and it was no more then 8 minutes by time i drove there to pick up my order and it was ready for . The owner was very friendly and asked me if I needed any napkins forks or condiments great service . Check this place out if your in the area you wont be disappointed..

Service: 7/10 Pork Spring rolls: 6/10 Rare Beef Satay Noodle Soup: 6/10 My experience here was pleasant. I came in with an open mind as I always do at new pho spots that I have tried in and around the GTA. Our waitress brought out our soups without basil, sprouts, and lime, which I found quite disappointing. I didn't Polish my blend because I was suffering from a mind blowing tumour of a hangover but this place was alright! I recommend it if you are passing by the area and are craving a spicy blend!

Large Number 14 Pho

I spotted Pho Peter while driving around Kennedy rd, I was craving soup so I decided to give this restaurant a try. This hidden gem is located in a small plaza on the corner of Church and Kennedy. The inside of this restaurant pleasantly caught me off guard, the unique decorations, plants and lighting made me feel relaxed and welcomed. My boyfriend and I ordered fresh rolls, Pho soup, and a rice dish. Everything we ordered was delicious down to the very last bite! I left this restaurant with a full stomach and a big smile I would definently recommend you give this restaurant a try!

Consistently good food, brought out fast. Possibly the best Pho in the west GTA?? I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Like most of these Pho places, the decor comes second and the bathroom is always an adventure. Always has a steady crowd so that must mean something as well.

Our waiter was quick to seat us, take our order, and even refill our tea. I love the ambiance. They usually play playful pop music, and the interior is just so cozy especially if you manage to snag one of the booths. The food is always top notch. I like to order a large soup for the table and some shrimp cold rolls to start. This place is very affordable and portions are great. Definitely recommend a good bowl of their soup on a rainy day, or just a casual afternoon with friends or family.

I decided to give Skip the Dishes a delivery try, saw this restaurant's menu, and ordered. I ordered from Skip the Dishes a second time, but from a different restaurant, and both places let me down. I ordered again from Pho Lang Viet and the food stopped my hangry state in its tracks. Both times, I ordered item B7. You basically get a spring roll and your choice of a grilled protein with vermicelli. The spring roll has ground pork, shrimp, vermicelli, taro, shiitake mushrooms, and vegetables. It comes with fish sauce. I got grilled chicken on my vermicelli. I ordered more spring rolls the first time. I also added a coconut bubble tea with coconut jelly. I changed things up with my second order and got fried chicken wings. B7 is absolutely delicious. The portion size is generous. The grilled chicken is moist and flavourful. The vermicelli is perfectly cooked. The veggies were crispy. The spring roll was so crispy and delicious. Mix in the fish sauce and it is the most comforting dish in the world. I ordered it the second time and I felt the same way. The spring rolls are huge. I actually had them for breakfast the following day because I was stuffed. They were even more flavourful! The crispy chicken wings are buttery, crispy, and delicious. I could eat them all day. Yum! I loved the coconut bubble tea with coconut jelly. It tasted like dessert in a cup. It had coconut cream mixed in. It was a cross between a milky bubble tea and a slush drink. It was so good. The coconut jelly kicked it up several notches on the coconut goodness scale. I was actually sad when I finished it. I highly recommend this place. I will need to stop by and check the restaurant out. I will definitely return for more food and bubble tea. (475)

There was ample parking so that was not an issue. We walked in and were seated quickly. Menus were given and then no one came back. We were left with an order sheet so we were trying to figure out what to do. There was no explanation given. So we wrote what we wanted on the order sheet and asked an employee if we could order. She took our order and our food came out in a few minutes. The egg rolls were okay. The Pho was decent, but didn't have a very complex, flavor. I will say the portion of meat was unexpected, more than what I receive at my Pho restaurants back home. The taste was average pho to me. My son enjoyed it and ate every bit of it. When it came time to pay, no one came with a bill, so I went to the counter and paid. It would be nice if when seated they would ask if it was your first time visiting so they know whether to explain how their ordering/payment process works.

Ended up in one of the most awkward seats right in front of the entrance. People waiting for seats. People coming and going and I really don't think it's easy to eat at crotch and butt level. Typical place. Lots of menu items. Something to please everyone. Noodles, rice, soup, snacks, drinks...you name it, they make it. I had the usual - pretty sure if you know me, you know what I had. Rare beef Pho with spring rolls. Ha! This time, I went with the fresh rolls. My friend does not eat pork so shrimps it was. Let me tell you...stick with the spring rolls. The fresh rolls was nothing to talk about here. Lacked everything! Some pieces of shrimps and lacklustre fillings. It was so not ready for serving as it stuck like glue to the plate and it was a challenge to get it off without tearing it to shreds. The Pho fared better. Needed lots of spices and add ins to get it where I needed the flavour to be. Nonetheless, the broth was surprising pretty good. The noodles were decent too. Minus the misfire on the rolls. This is an OK spot for a lunch. Just avoid the front table - they really shouldn't have a seat so close to the door. Maybe a fire hazard. Cheers.

The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and feels like a mini escape from the cold, gloomy city. The staff are all so kind and upbeat, it's hard not to leave in a good mood. The Hủ Tiếu was warm and comforting, with a rich, umami broth and generous portions of seafood and pork. The shrimp cracker was a nostalgic touch that instantly took me back to childhood. The phở was absolute perfection. Generous portions, liquid gold broth, and zero complaints. The Gà Nướng is always a favorite to share. Crispy, slightly sweet coconut rice triangles paired with juicy grilled chicken and nuoc cham made for the perfect balance of textures and flavors. Good sugarcane juice is hard to find in the city since most are muddy or too sweet, but theirs tasted just like home. The avocado smoothie was also delicious, creamy, refreshing, and not overly sweet. There was honestly nothing to complain about. Proces have gone up, so its definitely on the pricier side, but they reflect the general prices of most viet spots

We came here around 7pm and there was no wait time surprisingly. The fresh spring rolls didn't taste very fresh. It tasted premade and set aside since the wrap was a bit stiff. The stars of the show: P1: NY's special: Broth tasted so rich and delicious, lots of beef and beef balls. 100% worth coming back and getting. I would suggest getting the M size unless you are super hungry the portion size for a L is huge! P9: Braised beef short rib pho, meat is falling off the bone delicious. Only comes in one size, broth tasted much richer than the P1 with different flavours. It's definitely worth trying atleast once. Overall, would come back for pho and to try other items.
