Our go to spot and will remain the best Vietnamese place in the GTA! TRY THE CRISPY SPRING ROLLS

we went to Saigon House after hiking today. I rarely visit and get food in Brampton. Saigon House really gave us a surprise for their quality of food and decent portion.. most of use ordered V1B (Grill Chicken vermicelli ). It came with two big places of chickens and top with sprout, lettuce and sour carrot, peanut and fish sauce. for people with histamine allergy, I requested for removing peanut and fish sauce for my own order. we did not give it 5 stars because they did not allow customer to us the washroom.

Place was clean, which is nice, food was ok, but the portions, especially the meat was very small.

Excellent food. It was tasty and delicious. Just the right timing and service…read more I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good dish of Thai food.

Hello fellow foodies today I bring you an outstanding review for this Thai restaurant…read more Today during this horrible snow storm I 1/17/2022 I was reminiscing about my travels to Thailand, how nice and warm that country was and how amazing Thai food really is!!  So I had to get me some Pad Thai today! And ladies and gents was I ever glad I stopped into this place to grab some takeout today. After reading great reviews on Freshly Thai I had to drop in and grab some of their authentic Thai cuisine .They sit in a  free standing building almost in the downtown part of Brampton just on the north side of Queen St and the Main Street crossing. They have a huge patio for summer and plenty of seating on the inside. They do dining-in and takeout but under the current COVID restrictions there are some limitations. They claim to be fully authentic, gluten friendly and vegan friendly for those that require those options. There menu is quite authentic loaded will many options, from appetizers, salads, soups, noodles, curries, and some of their specialty dishes. Food 5/5 The "Pad Thai" was just phenomenal, just absolute fire! As authentic as the Pad Thai I had in Thailand! Rice noodles were freshly made not from dried frozen stuff you typically get, I mean this dish tasted fresh made to order, not reheated. It had a slight perfect sweetness to it with a hint of pepper heat, you could taste the sweat onions the green onions, the crispy bean sprouts with hints of basil, it was seasoned to perfection, I opted for the chicken Pad Thai, The chicken was very generously mixed into the rice noodles good thick cut pieces, perfectly tender and seasoned chicken. Just delicious, it was a decent size portion for one person but it was so good I probably would have fished two portions of it. It had a wonderful balance of flavour and textures from some of the crispy veggies and bean sprouts to the soft perfect rice noodles. Great dish! Service 5/5 The food was made fast, the service was very friendly and the price was within reason for this quality of food. Presentation was also very nice. Guys and gals if you're in the area and you want the best Thai food Brampton has to offer this is one of the places you must stop in to try.

My sister, son and I were looking for something in the area for dinner on a cold winter night…read more This restaurant had pretty good reviews, so we decided why not. There was ample parking so that was not an issue. We walked in and were seated quickly. Menus were given and then no one came back. We were left with an order sheet so we were trying to figure out what to do. There was no explanation given. So we wrote what we wanted on the order sheet and asked an employee if we could order. She took our order and our food came out in a few minutes. The egg rolls were okay. The Pho was decent, but didn't have a very complex, flavor. I will say the portion of meat was unexpected, more than what I receive at my Pho restaurants back home. The taste was average pho to me. My son enjoyed it and ate every bit of it. When it came time to pay, no one came with a bill, so I went to the counter and paid. It would be nice if when seated they would ask if it was your first time visiting so they know whether to explain how their ordering/payment process works.

A busy little Pho place in Brampton. Got there shortly after 1PM but the place was still packed…read more It looked promising! YAH! Ended up in one of the most awkward seats right in front of the entrance. People waiting for seats. People coming and going and I really don't think it's easy to eat at crotch and butt level. Typical place. Lots of menu items. Something to please everyone. Noodles, rice, soup, snacks, drinks...you name it, they make it. I had the usual - pretty sure if you know me, you know what I had. Rare beef Pho with spring rolls. Ha! This time, I went with the fresh rolls. My friend does not eat pork so shrimps it was. Let me tell you...stick with the spring rolls. The fresh rolls was nothing to talk about here. Lacked everything! Some pieces of shrimps and lacklustre fillings. It was so not ready for serving as it stuck like glue to the plate and it was a challenge to get it off without tearing it to shreds. The Pho fared better. Needed lots of spices and add ins to get it where I needed the flavour to be. Nonetheless, the broth was surprising pretty good. The noodles were decent too. Minus the misfire on the rolls. This is an OK spot for a lunch. Just avoid the front table - they really shouldn't have a seat so close to the door. Maybe a fire hazard. Cheers.

February 28/2026: Dinner with my Al…read more This was a very delicious meal! This little tiny place was jammed. Had seating for maybe 25 people. They had people sitting in places that didn't normally have seating! The food was delicious. For starters we have the calamari($13.99). It was lightly battered & came with a plumb sauce for dipping. Very tasty. For the main, we shared. Had the Chicken Pad Thai ($20.95). Keeping with the theme, it was delicious as well. Final dish was Thai Egg Fried Rice ($20.95). Just like the rest of the dishes, it was very tasty. Finally for dessert we have the Butterfly Tea Tapioca ($8.00). It was warm & super delicious and a 100% do over as well. The staff was very polite & delivered good quality service.

Disappointing Experience at Thai Barn Na Restaurant…read more Thai Barn Na restaurant is our go to place to celebrate our Birthdays. Always totally satisfied and impressed with the Waitress that is usually working. We never had a problem until Thursday December 4th This experience fell short of the expectations, we will not be returning. We are no longer going to promote Thai Barn as a" Hidden Gem". This location should be allocated for takeout only. Customer service is lacking in front end personnel. Our upset was a result. From past experiences, we were astounded that the $16.00 Margaritas were incredibly short. We were regulars and knew what to expect. We poured one drink into one glass. The Margarita was still an Inch from the salt ring. She came out with another of the same size. We celebrate birthdays and have been Regular CUSTOMERS for several years. When we pointed this out to server, she claimed that these were not the correct glasses. She was very rude, consistently arguing and did not try to soften the situation. We walked out! Never did this in our lives, walk of a restaurant in our lives. We were fortunate to get a reservation elsewhere and had a wonderful time despite the earlier disaster. They made over $300 sales plus tip, and we had the loveliest server. Thai Barn Na needs significant improvements in customer service. If she had not continued to argue the same thing she really angered us. Not once did she suggest she would take the drinks and offer an alternative, instead adamantly continued to argue with us. Perhaps this location would be better suited for Takeout only. It is unfortunate that it is necessary to write this to you.

We discovered this restaurant by mistake when we were in Mississauga and boy I'm glad we did…read more Its is really cozy with limited and compact seating space. The vibe though is very chill. The food. Well its fantastic. We go gaga over the Tomyum soup. The Pad Kra Prao with minced chicken is also our regular and always the taste remains consistent. The Khao Soi we tried was rich in flavor but we felt something was lacking in it. That being said it was still decent. The service is very quick So be prepared. All in all a pretty decent experience. I would be going again.

I was excited to try Thai Barn Na in Mississauga. 4 of us came on a weekend at around 12pm and…read moreimmediately got a table. The restaurant had a constant stream of customers and was constantly 80% full during the lunch period. We ordered the mango salad, Khao Soi (chicken), pineapple fried rice, Thai basil stir fry (chicken) and taro sticky rice for dessert. Originally, we wanted to order Khao Soi with beef, but was told beef was not available. I was honestly bummed as it is my go-to protein for Khao Soi, and we were there at the start of the lunch period. I really appreciate that they have a wide range of spice / spicy level. Since all 4 of us can't really eat spicy food. The mango salad had a good balance of flavour - not overly sour with the dressing. The Khao Soi curry / soup flavour was decent, I do wish it was a tad bit thicker so more of the soup can cling on to the noodles and chicken. The soup would probably cling on to the chunks of beef better! The pineapple fried rice was definitely a nice and homey dish. It wasn't oily and had a decent amount of ingredients. Love the presentation of this dish - with a quarter of a fresh pineapple! The Thai basil stir fry was nothing memorable. However we were surprised it came with a bowl of rice, which we packed home as there was too much food! We originally wanted the mango sticky rice, but was told it was unavailable as mangos were not in season - understandable as we came late fall/early winter. Since someone in our party really wanted dessert, we ordered the taro sticky rice to share. It was a big enough portion (super filling) for 4 of us to share. I'm usually not a dessert person (as I have a low tolerance to sweet food) but I found the sweetness of this dessert acceptable. Coconut flavour was strong. Servers were super nice and attentive!
