I'm a CD guy so I took note of the fact that most used CDs ran from $6 - $8, with a few out of print ones or imports going for $10+. Plenty of CD box sets to choose from as well. I didn't notice any other music mediums (cassettes, 8 tracks, etc) but perhaps they were hidden somewhere that I missed. As for the store itself, the place is outfitted floor to ceiling with music so while one might be waiting in line or looking for the next place to wander the eyes will inevitably find something music-based to look at. The two older men working there (one whose name was Paul, didn't catch the other) were very friendly and talkative. They actually quizzed each other from time to time about bands, songs, etc while I was there. It was a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Certainly worth a stop!

Hi, my name is Amy and I have an addiction to Newbury Comics. :-D The store was bigger than I expected but it was laid out nicely, and it was just as clean. I didn't want to touch anything for not wanting to move the items out of their rows. There was an expansive section of Funko Pop items, at the time being on sale (buy 1, get the second 1/2 off) and even though I bought 1, it was a little pricey considering the next store I went in to had some for a few dollars less. No, I didn't go return the figurine I bought, only because the next store didn't have that one. The comic selection was just as big as the Funko line and there was too much music to choose from. If I were local instead of having to worry about packing, I would have spend way too much more than I did on this trip. There were just too many awesome things to choose from. Will I be back? Quite possibly, if I am able to visit my friends who live in the area again.

I love this game; for anyone who doesn't know, it's a Pennsylvania Dutch card game that can definitely be hard to find outside of specialty stores. I was so happy to find it right away, made in America, and sold from a non-Amazon source. (I am always willing to pay extra to avoid The Bezos machine, but I got such a great deal at Christian book distributors it was the obvious choice with or without my consumer values). Her face still blank. I left. Cut to today. I accidentally broke a candle in a glass jar. Bummer! I offered to sweep it up, pay for it, and apologized several times. She barely looked up as she swept. I get it. It's a total drag to cleanup a customer's mess. No one's happy in this situation. I off to pay again and got no reply. A few minutes later I purchased some items and AGAIN she was grimfaced. I apologized one last time. Looking away she said, "It was an expensive candle." So I stupidly offered to pay yet again and she said, "That would be nice". Then the owner appeared at the counter and was shuffling papers shuffling papers. No smile, no grace. I told her about the situation and she blankly said that would be nice if you paid. I think the whole situation was handled incorrectly. If "You break it You buy it" is your policy then put up a sign, or politely tell your customer who committed the outrageous sin. Horrible, horrible customer service.

I want to go in and find something I've never heard of or stumble upon something I didn't even know I needed. Big Fun excels in that and after a conversation with the owner I'll definitely be back and most likely just ask for a selection of "dealer's choice" records, as everything he played while I was browsing was something that piqued my interest.
