Large and bustling, this transit center offers bus rides to and from most areas in Seattle ,…read moreShoreline and more. Very little is offered by way of seating, covered space under which to hide from the elements (sides are all open so any light wind will bring the elements to you), and streets must be crossed in order to get anywhere off of TC Island, unless, of course, you plan to just hop on to another bus. Close-ish, proximity-wise, to Northgate Mall, but still a bit of a walk (maybe 5-10 minutes depending on your speed, traffic and the weather) to the mall entrances. Get ready, too, for some stairs!

In addition, there are numerous parking lots that riders can utilize for their commutes. Most of the routes located here are to and from downtown Seattle. Though there are a few that head further north. Route 41 is great because it has nonstop service to and from downtown making for a faster commute. There are also a few buses that go to nearby neighborhoods like Ballard, Green Lake, Wallingford and the U-District. Though you are better off taking a different route to those places if you are travelling from downtown rather than getting to Northgate and changing buses. The transit center is just okay. It seems clean enough, though not pristine. Though I don't know how I would feel waiting here at night. If you live on the north end, this should be your spot in commuting to and from downtown.

However, the male driver kept on driving. I was like so maybe bus 271 doesn't stop here? Then as the bus got on the ramp, the driver realized something and was like "Oh SH*T! SH*T!!!!! Do you need to get off?" I was like it's ok I can just get off at the next stop. He was like "Oh no...are you sure?" I was like yes positive. Recently metro went through big changes taking out ride free area and having people pay on entry. I got on the bus and sat near the front of the bus because I had to make a transfer pretty soon. I normally exit from the back door but as I requested the bus to stop, the driver only opened up the front door and nobody was getting on at the bus stop. So I decided to walk off from the front door. The female driver was so pissed off and she yelled at me "EXIT FROM THE BACK DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Would be a great route if it didn't have time issues. Buses are usually very clean and not that crowded, it's just seriously almost always late. Currently, it's the entire route isn't running for a few days of week and during certain times at night due to 520 construction, but there's no information about this online.

Ever since staying at a B&B in Napa, I ended searching for one in Seattle and stumbled upon Greenlake Guest House. I checked availability, what they offer and so forth and grew too love it and wanted to book our stay with them! Julie our host was so amazing! She was kind and attentive! When we arrived she gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room! There is a community fridge with water and sodas as well as a Keurig for coffee or tea. There was a welcome basket and bottle of wine that was provided with our stay. Julie told us that we can use their contactless app to put in our breakfast order or utilize the sheet that was provided. She told us that we can pick as little or as much as we wanted. I read great reviews on her homemade granola and definitely had to try it! After breakfast they would give you the sheet to choose breakfast for the next day. Everyday there's something different and everything that we had tried has been delicious! They bake fresh cookies everyday and you have the option to request for them on the menu and if you need your room cleaned. Julie and her staff were all so amazing to us during our stay! We really enjoyed our time here and appreciate their hospitality! Will definitely stay again whenever we visit again!
