As opposed some of the other bigger companies that have millions of customers and you are dealing with admins, random staff and call centers, here you are always dealing directly with Bob. The install went super smooth, Bob came on time, he was in and out in less than an hour. He is also a local small business, just 'a man with a van', a genuinely nice guy with decades of experience doing this type of work so I was happy to support a local business owner. He told me that he is semi-retired, however, so if you're looking to get more labor-intensive work done in your home, he may no longer do it, but standard things like a disposal install, it's no problem. I said I was real, and he must not have have put my voicemail and my email together. Then he asked me again for my name and city so that he could put it together. At this point, it was getting ridiculous, but I complied, I was trying to help the guy out, and get off his list. Then he starts cussing at me. I blocked him. What a jerk. I'm telling you, I was never anything but kind and helpful to him, the only thing I did "wrong" was ask him for a custom quote (which he never gave me, because he clearly still had no idea what work I'd asked him to do - he only gave me his 3 hour minimum shtick) and later had the courtesy to tell him that I'd hired someone else. Instead of blowing him off. I was nice, and he is throwing four letter words at me. I would find someone else who is more trustworthy, reliable, knows the difference between a computer and a real person, and knows how to treat potential clients. Our old kitchen sink was a…read morenon-standard cutout undermounted sink and we wanted a new standard rectangular sink installed. This involves cutting the granite in place, basically making the ~30"x19" cut-out large enough to fit a 33"x22" top-mounted sink (see photos). All other (~8-9) renovation companies I reached out to stated they'd need to replace the entire countertop, costing multiple thousand dollars, or wouldn't take the job at all; only Homedepot Master offered us this service. Mehmet made sure to enumerate risks and considerations (e.g. countertop scratches, dust, possible cracking etc.) which we acknowledged before moving forward. After the sink we ordered got delivered, Mehmet and Torkay arrived on the day we scheduled, professionally set up the workspace (put up a curtain to contain the dust, sealed doors/windows, etc.) and had the new top-mount sink installed within ~5 hours. No surprises with the payment afterwards either; Homedepot Master quoted us $1200 for cutting and installation, we payed $1200 and not a cent more. Overall, I'm pleasantly satisfied with Homedepot Master's service. I anticipate we'll reach out to them again for future renovations.
