The appointment lasted 30 minutes and they planned out 4 rooms with recessed lights and 3 TV installations (with electrical boxes behind) along with mounting. The estimate came only a few hours later.. It was easy to read and very fair.. no Nickle or diming. They set a time for the following week, showed up on-time with 3 vans and a lot of crew. The entire project was done by 4pm that day.. It was absolutely incredible to see them work. What professionals.. left everything spotless.. not a bit of dust left behind. Incredible value for what they offered. Trash Dumping: After they replaced my electrical panel they filled all my trash cans with the trash, including my recycling bin - with construction trash that would get rejected. I had to pull all of it out when I found it several days later and make them come back and get it 2. Communication / Coordination: After the panel replacement there was coordination required to get inspections and stucco done. I had to hound them, they were not responsive, dragged their feet. Every time you call you get a different person and they put a buffer between you and the project manager so you cant ever reach your project manager directly. 3. Work Quality: We had to run a new ground wire and install new ground rods. They did the bare minimum to make them code compliant, leaving me with sketchy metal spears sticking 5 inches out of the ground. I told them this did not work for us because we have young kids running around. I needed the GEC run below grade and the ground rods inside valve boxes. All of this was approved by the inspector. The way they moaned and groaned... They stopped returning my calls and sent me a $2000 f-off quote to change the ground wire. I have sketchy rods sticking out of my yard, open stucco around the panel, they dont take my calls and I have to hire someone else to come finish the job. Honestly up there with one of my worst experiences with a contractor.

When I said Lake Forest and yes to the only thing needing a fix, he said he would come by in about an hour. When he came he immediately went to work on the switch and in less than a minute the lights were back on, but the lights were flashing on and off. This was a problem before the lights stopped coming on altogether. He switched some of the light bulbs with other working lights in the hallway and they worked in the kitchen and began flashing in the hallway. To that, Eric determined that the flashing lightbulbs were "crap", recommended getting some new light bulbs to replace those that flashed. It wasn't the switch that was faulty but the lights themselves. Eric said that he would not charge me anything for his work that day which was so generous and appreciated by me. You don't find people like that anymore. As it turns out he has family living in my neighborhood. He also gave me some advice on another outdoor light that we are repairing. Can't say enough good things about Eric.

This involves cutting the granite in place, basically making the ~30"x19" cut-out large enough to fit a 33"x22" top-mounted sink (see photos). All other (~8-9) renovation companies I reached out to stated they'd need to replace the entire countertop, costing multiple thousand dollars, or wouldn't take the job at all; only Homedepot Master offered us this service. Mehmet made sure to enumerate risks and considerations (e.g. countertop scratches, dust, possible cracking etc.) which we acknowledged before moving forward. After the sink we ordered got delivered, Mehmet and Torkay arrived on the day we scheduled, professionally set up the workspace (put up a curtain to contain the dust, sealed doors/windows, etc.) and had the new top-mount sink installed within ~5 hours. No surprises with the payment afterwards either; Homedepot Master quoted us $1200 for cutting and installation, we payed $1200 and not a cent more. Overall, I'm pleasantly satisfied with Homedepot Master's service. I anticipate we'll reach out to them again for future renovations.

Mr Fix It took a $8000 insurance job for replacing a shower in a manufacturEd home…read more the shower that was installed has a 1/2" gap in the door causing water to flood the bathroom. It's been six weeks with zero response on fixing the proble. I believe he installed a "second" shower the gap in the door is insulting. Mr fix it was very aggressive to get the job and impossible to get to have it fixed. My recommendation to everyone is to never use Mr Fix it unless you want second class work and product used.
