Our main waterline broke. We called our regular guy and he was busy on a remodel. We looked on yelp and found out Chris was just down the street from us. (We support local) He said he could be here in an hour. He looked at the problem and started the next day. After some digging we realized the line ran under the courtyard concrete. Chris said it would be easier to run a new line from the main shutoff valve through the garage. And he even put a new hose bib in the front of the garage to wash our cars!! Bonus!! Super high pressure. He came over to diagnose an issue with the water heater. We asked him about a clogged drain, without looking at it he said it'd be at least $100. When he looked at the water heater, in seconds he concluded that we needed a new one and that it would cost $1500 for the replacement. He wasn't willing to consider a tankless installation. I asked him for ten minutes to make a decision; he said ok, but he kept pressuring my wife to hurry up and get a replacement. Five minutes later my wife asked him to leave.
