I found Ed through Yelp, and gave him a call after reading the great reviews. I was not disappionted! I needed a garbage disposal fixed, and my toilet flapper needed replacing. I left a voicemail for Ed on a Thursday around 8 pm. Friday he gave me a call, and at 9am on Saturday he was at my house. I never got a quote so I had my fingers crossed he wouldn't charge me an arm and leg. I was pleased with the service and the price... very reasonable, and he did both projects in under 2 hours. Friendly guy, and attentive to cleaning up his mess. A+ for Ed. I will call him again, and refer him! read more

I just called to have Edward do some additional plumbing work for me and got some bad news. Edward passed away several months ago. What a shock and what a loss. ...so this must explain the recent yelp negative ratings about phone calls not be returned. His genuine smile and commitment to excellent work and great client service is what I remember most about him. He will surely be missed. read more

My husband and I found Edward on Yelp and we were impressed by all the great feedback. So we called to have him come inspect some plumbing issues we were having. He was very flexible with our schedule and came over on the weekend. Edward's explanation of what needed to be done to our home was very thorough. A different plumber we had come over prior to purchasing the home told us he would have to knock down a wall to fix a leak. Edward offered a couple alternate options that didn't include any kind of demolition. Plus, his price was very competitive in comparison. Edward and his team worked tirelessly for 4 days from 8am-8pm until the work was complete. They were very clean and professional during the entire process. He was very punctual, reliable, honest, and a great communicator. Edward has a true passion for the work he does and it shows. He doesn't recommend doing things the wrong way because he wants things to be fixed properly. On top of all that, he a has a big heart and devotes some of his proceeds to his charity ACT (Another Child Touched) which benefits needy children and families in Vietnam. I would highly recommend Edward to anyone who has a small or a large plumbing issue. read more

Call Edward! He's down to earth, honest, friendly, easy to work with, and takes pride in his work. He does a clean and professional job, and won't try to upsell you. Not only will you have the piece of mind knowing that you're working with an expert with over 25 years of experience, you'll also have the good karma of supporting Edward's missionary work. Edward is a philanthropist of sorts, and invests his profits in his charity, Another Child Touched. It benefits needy children in Vietnam. That's not to say you'll be overcharged. In fact, he undercut anyone else I called by a decent margin. My experience: On Saturday night, something in my water heater (approximately 20 days out of it's 6 year warranty) burst. About 20 gallons of water gushed out rapidly and flooded my office. On Sunday, I called a number of local plumbers to install a new water heater for me. Of the few who actually answered, their quotes were bloated due to the day of the week (lame). They offered to bring and install a new water heater at a flat rate. Although convenient, this would not give me the option to chose, and I would likely be upcharged substantially for the item. Luckily, I got a hold of Edward. Edward actually offered to go to Home Depot with me to make the water heater purchase. He then loaded it into his van and brought it to my house for me. This allowed me to pay the exact cost of the item, and choose the one I wanted. He also bid a flat rate to install the new water heater, and remove and haul away the old one. The total I spent between purchasing the item and paying for labor was substantially less than the other all-inclusive bids I was given. If you're in the OC area, do yourself a favor and bookmark Edward as your plumbing resource. You might as well be prepared for the day that you need a plumber that you can trust! read more

This morning my faucet broke and I called Edward right away based on his Yelp ratings. I was afraid that the ratings might be fake since everyone gave him a five star, but he looks so nice and kind in his pictures, I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad that I did, and the other ratings are definitely legit. He is very down to earth and friendly, he offered to go to home depot with me to pick out the new faucet (at no charge), and offered me a very competitive hourly rate (no overtime charge on the weekend), and at the end, he gave me a cash discount!! Call him! He did a great job. Thank you Edward!!!!! read more

Wow...Edward was awesome! He just left our house. He fixed our problem for far less than what other plumbers had quoted us and in a timely manner. He was very nice, courteous, professional and most of all very clean. Some plumbers do a job and leave a mess for you to clean up but not Edward. Since we had a ghetto plumbing job done by someone else, he was gracious enough not to laugh his butt off looking at our duct tape cracker jack mickey mouse situation. We will only be calling Edward from now on. Pros: - Timely call back - Was able to fix our problem the same day! - Professional and Friendly - Honest - Clean - Attention to detail Cons: - He needs to clone himself :) - He is not always able to answer the phone because he is busy working. PLEASE WAIT for his CALL back or send him a text because he's da man for the job! read more

Found him on yelp. Called him for garbage disposal issue. Arrived within 15 mins of call (he was down the street). Fixed in about 10 mins. Heads up only takes check or cash. Not a knock. Really cool guy, highly recommended. read more

I recently bought a very old house in Long Beach. I was pretty sure I had to replace all of the pipes, electrical... blah blah. It's basically been the money pit. Edward was highly referred by a client of mine, that also bought a fixer upper and had to replace all of their pipes. They did all their homework and he turned out to be the best and the least expensive. Edward just left, he said my plumbing is great and needed nothing. He fixed a few minor problems, charged me nothing and even hauled off a few really heavy boxes I filled with tree trimmings. read more

Thanks again YELP! After going through the list of plumbers to clear out my drain, I call two. Edward returned my call, the other has not. He arrived right at the appointed time with his helper. Clean, efficient like a surgeon and honest. He got the job done and thoroughly checked every aspect before leaving. Highly recommended to all in a profession where not only drains get snaked but wallets. Larry from Anaheim Hills read more

Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and honorable. Edward is the man for your plumbing needs, and you definitely want to meet him in person. Stellar workmanship and personality, went over the board and not only fixed my shower head (just one fix he did on his last visit) but modified it for my taller height at no additional charge. He went to Home Depot also to purchase the necessary parts to make it happen/ This man has been plumbing since he could hold a wrench (30+ yrs), and he's got the stories to prove it. Edward's plumbing. Absolutely terrific. read more

Discovered we had a slab leak yesterday and were really wondering what we were in for. Called these folks late in the afternoon and Manny was out in less than two hours. He was able to give us an estimate and he returned this morning to fix it. It involved some jack-hammering in the living room (oh joy)...but the work was done so neatly it really wasn't an issue. A few hours later it was done and we're just waiting for the cement patch to dry before we flip the carpet and pad back over it and go on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company based on this experience. They were excellent! read more

Edward is amazing. He is friendly, honest, reliable, skilled, and a great person. So fortunate to have found him, thanks to Yelp and the great reviews! His assistant, Chris, is great too! Thank you! You are my regular plumber from now on! read more

Edward is amazing! He has a fun personality and has some great stories about this charity work to share with you! I had him come out to install a new faucet, and he took his time to carefully do the job without rushing! He explained what he was doing and even showed me why he was doing it. Edward is also a very honest man! My new faucet is a European brand, so it installs a little differently than the typical brands. He explained the areas of concern he had, and showed me exactly what to keep my eye on. If you every have any plumbing needs, CALL EDWARD! He is quick, friendly, skilled, flexible, and someone you can trust!! read more

Very impressed. Edward came out within an hour of my calling to make an appointment. He was very courteous, friendly, and good at his job. The whole time he worked, we had a nice conversation about me moving to CA and the charity he established. He kept the whole working area very clean and really paid attention to detail. His hourly rate was very reasonable, and I will absolutely call him again if I have plumbing issues in the future. read more

So, like another reviewer, we recently called Edward to come out (we've been using him pretty regularly) and was told the bad news -- Edward did pass away a few months ago. I can't speak for the new company because I haven't used them, but I'm a bit underwhelmed that they never called back after we left messages (and Edward would always return calls so quickly). My five stars are for Edward -- he was an amazing person who definitely left his mark. My heart goes out to his family, especially his young son. read more

Called Edward based upon all the positive reviews on Yelp. They were not wrong. He arrived on time, we went through what I needed done and he and Chris jumped right in. They installed a new kitchen faucet, fixed an older constantly running toilet and installed a new shower head for me. Everything is great, he was very tidy and was done in a little over an hour! His rates are SO reasonable. You will not be disappointed! Thanks Edward, I will use you again. read more

I have known Edward for over eight years. Not only is he a master plumber, he is very fair and reasonable in pricing. I would not hesitate to refer him to any family member or friend. It is difficult to find a plumber who you can trust to do the job right the first time. So far he has done work in my kitchen, bathroom and fixed a leak in the slab of the house. He also uses proceeds from his business to fund missionary work. I consider myself fortunate to have found this man. read more

My condolences go out to his son and sister and all the orphans he helped in Vietnam and Cambodia. My friend and BIC had the most giving heart i have seen in a person. Edward will be missed dearly read more

Recently had Edward and his assistant Chris come out to replace a leaky kitchen faucet and a leaky sink pipe. $150 to replace the kitchen faucet with one that I provided and $40 to replace the sink pipes. They were on-time, took 3 hours for the job, friendly and clean. Not sure how much other plumbers charge, but I called two other companies and they were the only ones to respond. They did a great job! read more

Once again: Edward to the rescue. Leak under the bathroom sink, no problem. Leaky pipes under the house, solved. Eddie showed up ready to work with all the parts he needed on his truck, and he charged me a very reasonable price for the work he did. So courteous, so nice, did not leave a mess. Why can't more contractors be like Eddie? read more

Really friendly plumber and is SUPPER clean even brought his own towels. I just bought a condo and had no clue who I should use for fixing things. I was very apprehensive in finding a plumber due to all the horror stories out there. I realized I had a clog in my dishwasher and the water had been sitting in there for about 3 months without me knowing! (i dont use it very often) and needless to say it smelled BAD. I called Edward and he was there 20 mins later. Came with his own towels and dove right into fixing the clog. He was very friendly and even gave me advice on my dishwasher and garbage disposal. I highly recommend him very very fair pricing and professional. I need to call him to install my new garbage disposal hes in my phonebook of go to people. read more

Ever since my parents bought our house in Irvine the hot water never worked upstairs. After Edward came to my boyfriends house to do the gas line at his house, Edward was the person that I wanted to help us with the hot water problem. He helped fix the problem and I am happy to say that we finally have hot water again! I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! read more

Wow, I called this guy because he has an exemplary rating here on yelp. Well, I have called him twice and left a message requesting he call me back regarding a hairline crack in a pipe underneath my sink. Called up Edward on a Saturday morning for a drainage issue, and he was able to get the problem fixed that same morning. As we expected, it was a general clog deep down in the pipes. He was honest, informative, and his price was very fair. I'll be using Edward for future plumbing work in the Costa Mesa area. read more

Edward was on time, quick, and no BS! I am always apprehensive about getting plumbing (electrician...etc) services because you always hear stories of how they try to make more money and do things that don't need to be done. Edward got right to work as soon as he got there and explained to you what he was doing while he was doing it. You never have to worry that he was wasting time or anything. We were REALLY happy with his work and his prices are very very reasonable. I am definitely calling him again if we have any plumbing issues in the future. read more

I can only say that I called 3 separate times for service. The first time it went to a dead line. The second time i was told that they would call me back in 10 minutes to schedule service (they never called back) The third time I got a message saying voice-mail was full. Edward may be a good guy, but I would not know because I cant get them to schedule an appointment to come out. read more

My dishwasher would leak water when I would turn it on, so I had to find someone to fix it. I looked on yelp and found plumbing by edward. All the reviews were good so I called him up. Service was great he was able to come the same day, price was reasonable, he fixed it fast and as I talked to him he told be that half of all of his earnings every week go to helping out under privileged children all over! What a good heart! I will def. call edward back for any other plumbing needs. read more

I called needing a fix on my garbage disposal. I called and it happened that Edward was nearby, so he was at my house within 15 minutes. He fixed the disposal, showed me how I could repair it myself in the future, and even gave me the proper hex tool to do the job since he had extras in his truck. I don't think it's possible to receive better service. read more

Edward came over to replace some valves for a W/D hook-up. He was very professional and clean and sought the most economical solution to the problem. Instead of replacing the entire valve housing like another plumber suggested he was able to reuse the housing and only replace the valves. This review is based on my husband's satisfaction with Ed's plumbing services as I was not home when Edward came to fix our toilet. We discovered that our new toilet was never installed correctly in the first place by the guy who renovated the house - it started leaking from the bottom onto the floor. Edward explained exactly what needed to be done, he was timely, professional, and fixed it in no time. He explained what he was doing and was honest and up front about pricing and the time it would take to fix the issue. read more

I would definitely call them again! I was afraid I might have a main line water leak at my house. Manuel calmly talked my son through testing the lines to determine that luckily, my leak was on the sprinkler line, not the house line. YAY! Easy do it yourself fix. I'm so impressed that he helped me over the phone, no charge. I didn't even have to go home to meet them. Some other plumbers wanted over $300 just to go out and let me know if there was a problem. (Manuel offered to do that for free too if it was necessary.) It's so nice to meet an honest business that cares about the customers. Definitely, give them a call! read more

This guy is the real deal. He works hard, he works smart, and he works quickly. I really appreciated his professional, efficient, and fair service. The first time he cleaned my drain, he showed up in the early evening so that I didn't have to leave work early. The next time I had some repiping to do, he showed up early so that I wasn't too late for work. He offered me the receipt for the hardware and charged me at COST, no markup. He bought quality parts and installed a clean-out to make it easier to service in the future. He communicates well on the phone and via email, and he took pictures of his work to show progress. Obviously, I was impressed. He deserves all of the five-star reviews that have been written. Thanks, Edward, and great work. read more

Called Edward Saturday morning. He was over within an hour. Had a leaking pipe and hose in the yard. He replaced the necessary parts and then some. Didn't charge for time spent getting parts, kept the area clean and was VERY FAIR WITH CHARGE! Will use him again and highly recommend him! read more

Had a severely clogged bathtub/shower and called PbE based on Yelp reviews. He responded at the end of his work day, and set up an appointment for the following morning. He and his assistant were prompt, clean, very friendly and helpful, and quickly troubleshooted the problem and the best way to address it. After snaking the line from an indoor clean-out requiring furniture to be moved and removing a wall panel, they ensured the water drained from the tub quickly and put back everything the way it was prior to his arrival - in a clean and orderly process. Friendly, competent, professional, and complete. I'll be having them return soon to snake the external clean-outs for maintenance. What a great business to call with plumbing needs! read more

This was a waste of time and $85.00 for 3 minutes of his time to tell me they can't do the job. It's out of their scope. I think it took longer to write up the bill. It's time to get a new plumber. Edward sadly passed away. He was awesome. Fair and good. They now forward you to another big company. I had them out to replace 1/2 inch elbow and flex tube gas line for my BBQ. I knew was going to be simple. Needed it done for documentation prior to sale of home. This guy pulled out price book and was 4 times what I thought it was going to be. I just laughed and told him to leave. This was after him being 90 minutes late for appointment. Called Evans plumbing and tech came out and charged me only an hour service. I would recommend these guys now. Saved me 550 dollars for a job which I knew would be a hours work. read more
