I left a voicemail for Ed on a Thursday around 8 pm. Friday he gave me a call, and at 9am on Saturday he was at my house. I never got a quote so I had my fingers crossed he wouldn't charge me an arm and leg. I was pleased with the service and the price... very reasonable, and he did both projects in under 2 hours. My husband and I found Edward on Yelp and we were impressed by all the great feedback. So we called to have him come inspect some plumbing issues we were having. He was very flexible with our schedule and came over on the weekend. Edward's explanation of what needed to be done to our home was very thorough. A different plumber we had come over prior to purchasing the home told us he would have to knock down a wall to fix a leak. Edward offered a couple alternate options that didn't include any kind of demolition. Plus, his price was very competitive in comparison. Edward and his team worked tirelessly for 4 days from 8am-8pm until the work was complete. They were very clean and professional during the entire process. He was very punctual, reliable, honest, and a great communicator. Edward has a true passion for the work he does and it shows. He doesn't recommend doing things the wrong way because he wants things to be fixed properly. On top of all that, he a has a big heart and devotes some of his proceeds to his charity ACT (Another Child Touched) which benefits needy children and families in Vietnam. In fact, he undercut anyone else I called by a decent margin. My experience: On Saturday night, something in my water heater (approximately 20 days out of it's 6 year warranty) burst. About 20 gallons of water gushed out rapidly and flooded my office. On Sunday, I called a number of local plumbers to install a new water heater for me. Of the few who actually answered, their quotes were bloated due to the day of the week (lame). They offered to bring and install a new water heater at a flat rate. Although convenient, this would not give me the option to chose, and I would likely be upcharged substantially for the item. Luckily, I got a hold of Edward. Edward actually offered to go to Home Depot with me to make the water heater purchase. He then loaded it into his van and brought it to my house for me. This allowed me to pay the exact cost of the item, and choose the one I wanted. He also bid a flat rate to install the new water heater, and remove and haul away the old one. The total I spent between purchasing the item and paying for labor was substantially less than the other all-inclusive bids I was given. If you're in the OC area, do yourself a favor and bookmark Edward as your plumbing resource. You might as well be prepared for the day that you need a plumber that you can trust! read more

This morning my faucet broke and I called Edward right away based on his Yelp ratings. I was afraid that the ratings might be fake since everyone gave him a five star, but he looks so nice and kind in his pictures, I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad that I did, and the other ratings are definitely legit. He is very down to earth and friendly, he offered to go to home depot with me to pick out the new faucet (at no charge), and offered me a very competitive hourly rate (no overtime charge on the weekend), and at the end, he gave me a cash discount!! Wow...Edward was awesome! He just left our house. He fixed our problem for far less than what other plumbers had quoted us and in a timely manner. He was very nice, courteous, professional and most of all very clean. Some plumbers do a job and leave a mess for you to clean up but not Edward. I recently bought a very old house in Long Beach. I was pretty sure I had to replace all of the pipes, electrical... blah blah. It's basically been the money pit. Edward was highly referred by a client of mine, that also bought a fixer upper and had to replace all of their pipes. Discovered we had a slab leak yesterday and were really wondering what we were in for. Called these folks late in the afternoon and Manny was out in less than two hours. He was able to give us an estimate and he returned this morning to fix it. It involved some jack-hammering in the living room (oh joy)...but the work was done so neatly it really wasn't an issue. A few hours later it was done and we're just waiting for the cement patch to dry before we flip the carpet and pad back over it and go on. Recently had Edward and his assistant Chris come out to replace a leaky kitchen faucet and a leaky sink pipe. $150 to replace the kitchen faucet with one that I provided and $40 to replace the sink pipes. They were on-time, took 3 hours for the job, friendly and clean. Not sure how much other plumbers charge, but I called two other companies and they were the only ones to respond. Really friendly plumber and is SUPPER clean even brought his own towels. I just bought a condo and had no clue who I should use for fixing things. I was very apprehensive in finding a plumber due to all the horror stories out there. I realized I had a clog in my dishwasher and the water had been sitting in there for about 3 months without me knowing! (i dont use it very often) and needless to say it smelled BAD. Ever since my parents bought our house in Irvine the hot water never worked upstairs. Had a severely clogged bathtub/shower and called PbE based on Yelp reviews. He responded at the end of his work day, and set up an appointment for the following morning. He and his assistant were prompt, clean, very friendly and helpful, and quickly troubleshooted the problem and the best way to address it. After snaking the line from an indoor clean-out requiring furniture to be moved and removing a wall panel, they ensured the water drained from the tub quickly and put back everything the way it was prior to his arrival - in a clean and orderly process. The second time i was told that they would call me back in 10 minutes to schedule service (they never called back) The third time I got a message saying voice-mail was full. My dishwasher would leak water when I would turn it on, so I had to find someone to fix it. I looked on yelp and found plumbing by edward. All the reviews were good so I called him up. Service was great he was able to come the same day, price was reasonable, he fixed it fast and as I talked to him he told be that half of all of his earnings every week go to helping out under privileged children all over! I called needing a fix on my garbage disposal. I called and it happened that Edward was nearby, so he was at my house within 15 minutes. He fixed the disposal, showed me how I could repair it myself in the future, and even gave me the proper hex tool to do the job since he had extras in his truck.
