My kitchen sink backed up this morning and I saw this company recommended on a local Facebook group. I talked to a lady in the office who took my information and said someone would call me back soon. Within 5 minutes I got a call from someone who apologized for not picking up when I first called! They had a technician out within a few hours who was professional, friendly and competent. This company is a horrible and insulting joke! They were hired by my HOA to investigate a leak that in front of my property, but in an area maintained by the HOA. The "plumbers" showed up without any tools and started digging around with their hands. When they could not get far because of the roots of the HOA plants, they left stating that they would need to get approval from the HOA. When they never again appeared, I contacted the HOA and was told that they claimed that I was argumentative and would not let them complete their assessment. Despite not being able to make such an assessment, I was allegedly argumentative because I didn't like their determination. Uh yea.....some logic would work here. Today I received correspondence from my management company demanding that I pay their bill based on the allegation that I stopped their determination because I did not like their determination (now my head hurts).y neighbor was out there with me the entire time that these plumbers were present and can attest that there was not an argument and that these guys left pending approval from the HOA to remove the plants. Of note the HOA since had another company come in and allegedly repair the line without having to remove the plants. Guess those guys showed up with tools. As discussed, my neighbor who owns the premises located at 81 rue Monet was present the entire time the plumbers inspected the leak area. Their assessment was that the leak was from the irrigation system (which was proven to be a fact) and that they would need to return with tools once they received HOA approval for their proposal. Of note. On the date at issue, they did not come with tools and were digging with their hands. They could not dig any further because of the roots from the plants owned and maintained by the HOA. They stated that the plants and tree, which are the responsibility of the HOA would have to be removed before they could make any further assessment as to the location of the leak. Nonetheless, it was their opinion that the leak was caused by the plant roots and that said roots likely also damaged the main waterline. After receiving the correspondence from the HOA, I attempted to contact this company to inquire about their allegation of having to leave because I was argumentative. The man who answered the phone (who. refused to give his name and presumably was the owner of this company) was extremely rude and verbally abusive after learning that I had video and photographs documenting that the plumbers did not have the requisite tools (again part of their reason for leaving, the other part being that they needed HOA approval to remove the tree and bushes to find and fix the leak), screamed at me stating that I did not hire them and therefore I would have to contact the HOA about his fraudulent report, and then had a woman answer the phone who claimed to be his answering service. It is apparent to me that this is not a professional organization. Hire at your own risk. If your HOA hires them, move! read more

First off, I gave them a sizable lead/job for a friend of mine because I heard about them from another friend. Dave, the owner, scheduled our first appt without my confirmation. Realized his mistake later that day and said, sorry I missed your text. Rescheduled with them and was there literally 3 mins after the plumber tech arrived. He left within the 3 mins. Dave the owner proceeded to text me "don't call them again and schedule with someone else." He claimed that we stood him up 2 times now. Clearly the first one was his mistake and the second one we were late by 3 mins within their 2 HOUR WINDOW timeframe they gave us. Based on what his tech told me, it's clear this guy is just overwhelmed with his job. Don't bother using them. They make you feel like you're not valued and won't give you the time of day. REPLY: 20 minutes??? Yeah right. Dude, here's the pics. Cameras don't lie. People do. We never officially set the first appointment. That was your bad for making it. See the text in the pic. The second appointment, your guy waited 3-4 mins MAX. Check in the pics the time he first arrives and the time you texted me. The only reason it took my wife and I, seen also in the pictures, as long as it did to get into our home, was because you were arguing on the phone because you were being such a jerk. We previously used Great Park for our whole house repipe. This past week we suddenly had a leak in our kitchen pantry that we discovered late in the evening. I called Great Park and they paged the on call plumber which turned out to be the owner, Dave. Dave calmed me down (water coming out of the wall and into your kitchen is a bit stressful) and said his team will be out first thing in the AM. As promised, Fredo and him showed up first thing the next day and discovered the issue (which was not related to the repipe). They made a quick and efficient repair and advised us even how to proceed with the situation. They were professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. I had a really good experience with Great Park Plumbing. What I really appreciated is that this is a small business with a small team, which is great because they work well as a team take the time for you. Dave, the business owner, is very responsive and helpful and was patient with me to explain things and what/why he is doing what he does. I had a major drain blockage in my kitchen that needed a major clean out and he his team really put time and effort into finding a resolution when the typical methods didn't work. They went through the usual looking at the garbage disposal, the T trap, the air gap, etc. (The fact that I listed all of these from knowing zero about sink plumbing shows how communicative the team is) I haven't had too much experience with plumbing so it is comforting to have this type of support. Don't be afraid to ask questions guys! That is what you need to do if you want more detail on the job! The pricing seems relatively competitive: though I always recommend everyone to shop around for quotes. They do offer you a free quote so there is no harm in getting a quote from Great Park when you look around. Personally though, I think the extra time and dedication you get here would be worth coming here. read more

My HOA contracted GPP to take care of a slab leak. First attempt: they capped and bypassed a wrong pipe and called it complete. Couple hours after they left the leak was back at exact same location. 2nd attempt 4 days later: they came back and did half of the work and almost called it complete until I noticed that they had skipped half of the work. 3rd attempt later on the same day: they completed the remaining half that was left out but they tried to cut corners and missed the connection to master's bath. So far it's been 2 weeks and we still don't have water in master's bathroom. I guess with GPP it's not common sense to check your work after work is "complete" I told HOA that GPP is not allowed to come back to my property ever again. read more

The dreaded repipe was needed at our home. Being that we live in Coto De Caza, I checked our Facebook page for a good plumbing company. Most responses were for Great Park Plumbing. After calling, Dave set up a time to come by for a quote. He was fast and came right on time. I really appreciate that he was able to complete our project while we were on vacation. No one ever wants to have to hire a plumber, but when they do they want them to be like Dave and his crew from Great Park Plumbing. My water bill was reflecting an unseen leak. We were able to isolate the leak between the meter and house. I had 5 bids, all for the same scope of work. How fortunate for me that the company I liked the best was very competitive on pricing. The crew was fantastic, disturbing my yard as little as possible as the dug a 35' long 20"+ deep trench to install a new main line. When the main job was done they made sure my irrigation and low voltage lighting was back in place and operating correctly. Some of the landscaping may not survive but that was understood before the job began. All and all a great experience (I hope to not need again) read more

Thank you to Dave and the entire GPP team of skilled, respectful, and high-quality professionals. I used GPP services for the first time in 2017. They saved the day when I had a leak in my kitchen. At that time, I knew that if I had any plumbing issues in the future, I would call upon Dave and his team again...without hesitation. In 2022, a middle of the night slab leak discovery caused me to call upon Great Park Plumbing. While GPP fixed the initial slab leak, they also found the second leak. Their skilled technicians discovered what I had suspected, but couldn't find... With multiple leaks, I knew I was going to probably need to re-pipe my house. Although I think we both knew a re-pipe was in order, GPP didn't try and upsell me on anything. They shared options, and their expertise, and in the end, I went with GPP and was thankful I did...I couldn't have asked for a better outcome, despite having a few dozen holes all around the ceiling and walls of my house. In total, there were nearly a dozen GPP employees who were on my property (my house is just under 1,500 sq. ft) working tirelessly to complete all parts of the pipe replacement, pipe installation, drywall, ceiling repairs, and cleaning up. Each person was someone who quickly earned the trust of being inside my house for many hours at a time. Living in RSM means you have a high chance of owning a home with poor pipes that were originally put in by the builder. In our case, we made it just over 30 years. So many other homes on my street have had to re-pipe over the years, and now I found myself in the same situation. I was blessed though, because I chose GPP. I felt like I got the Extreme Home Makeover service, with all my plumbing issues fixed! Communication was detailed, work was done on-time, and most of all, the quality of craftsmanship and repair was outstanding! Nobody willingly seeks out the chance to re-pipe their entire house, but when you find yourself needing to...or even a much smaller job, make sure you call on Great Park Plumbing to make things happen. I called Great Park Plumbing because of all the good reviews, but was disappointed. Work was acceptable--no leaks yet--but not the quality I had expected. Among other things, new sink was not quite centered in counter opening and hot and cold supply lines were swapped. Most disappointing, however, was that the company declined to warranty a new tub drain against leaks, saying I had refused to allow employees to open the wall behind the tub during installation; I had not. (The plumber on site and I agreed that it would only be necessary to open the wall if he were unable to get a solid connection between the drain assembly and the waste pipe. He was able to make that connection.) Worse was the fact that I only discovered the work was not warrantied after later receiving a copy of the paid invoice. I protested, but received no response. Because my experience was so different from that of all other reviewers, I thought it worth posting. At least to me, negative reviews are as useful as positive ones when choosing among companies on Yelp. Also worth noting is that this is the second 5-star plumbing company that did not live up to its reviews. I've had mostly positive experiences with other Yelp businesses and services, but maybe it's not the place to find a plumber? read more

After a service a few years ago that I was very happy with, I called again for a less complicated job, in the evening. I was told if it wasn't an emergency, to call in the morning, so I did, at about 8:15. I was told to expect a scheduling call within minutes, but no one ever call -- ever. David was excellent, professional, and safe -- which, given the date with the COVID pandemic going on, was very much appreciated. David showed up with a mask and gloves on, ready to go. Friendly, professional, super-responsive when I called him about recirculating pump issue, he showed up later the same day to help quickly and easily resolve our problem. After reading an article from IRWD, I checked my home for leaks. Based on looking at my water meter, I discovered a small/slow leak. Called Great Park Plumbing bc they got good yelp reviews and bc they specialized in leak detection. David and his crew came out to my home. They were actually early, and called to see if they could get started. After listening to my concerns and asking questions, they started looking for the leak. I was totally impressed that they found the leak in about an hour and had it fixed within another two. They cleaned up very well after and were really pleasant to work with. Dave responded with a reasonable quote so I made an appointment. He was very punctual for my appointment, provided an honest diagnosis, and completed the repair very quickly.
